I am technically challenged and don’t have the latest gadgets. I didn’t record the recap. It was on before the premeire.
I just watched it 🙂 what A+E said was “Neal feels terrible because he has moved on and is genuinely in love with Tamara”. So that’s the theory that Neal was never in love with Tamara totally debunked.
I refuse to believe that moving on is possible if you are Truly in Love with someone. I refuse. It genuinely doesn’t make sense to me. I mean, TL doesn’t come along every day – look at Killian, he has had to wait THREE HUNDRED YEARS to get his second chance at love with Emma.

Also, just wanted to put this here, and to remind everyone of the fact that WE CALLED THIS MOMENT when we first found out Emma would go overboard:
This is the face of a terrified/relieved man. THIS IS THE MOMENT. The moment when it comes crashing down on him JUST how much he cares for Emma, and that he almost lost her.
And cinematically? This scene was EXTREMELY Killian biased. They pan to his face more than they do Snowing. Just sayin’ 😉

P.S. The more I watch the episode (I’ve watched it 5 times already, have Mondays off lol) the more I realise just how significant it was for Captain Swan. They shared a moment of teamwork and a moment of comfort. Killian has admitted to her, to himself (and everyone else too) just how much he cares for her. The difference between 2×22 Killian and 3×01 Killian is ASTOUNDING if i’m honest.

I don’t even know where to begin with this one. Because watching the change of Killian’s facial expressions from fear to relief to sudden awareness was just amazing.
He holds his breath, only one thought occupying his mind … ‘Not again!’ … and then she starts breathing again and he sucks in a relieved breath just to realize a moment later what he had felt when she was not breathing. Fantastic episode, especially for CS fans.
Now you’re gonna get the real proof of the potential these two have as a beautiful romance blooms.
Although I am quite annoyed that the podcasts are not unbiased and fail to mention the very OBVIOUS CS hints in the episode and the parallels and the foreshadowing.
This isn’t something you could twist. Hook’s facial expression, the whole happy endings talk and looking at Emma after saying it and the pan literally panning to her.
Just very obvious stuff, that anyone could pick up.

Yeah I agree Hookian, but if they don’t say it’s there then the other ships will have reason to hope which is exactly why they DON’T because they want to keep the hype up. But yeah, I agree, Captain Swan is going through their love story IN REAL TIME and not in the past like Swanfire. THAT is what you want for your leading lady in a fairytale programme. In my eyes anyway. I’ve said it before, and I don’t like talking about endgame, but i’m 99.999999% sure that Captain Swan will be because:
1. Killian will not find anyone else, that much has been made clear: he thinks of a future with her, gave up his revenge for her after 300 years of seeking it, is investing EVERYTHING to help her find Henry
2. Killian and Emma compliment each other perfectly in EVERY way, each are what the other needs
3. Their chemistry blows my mind lol
