I watched the recap tonight in preparation for watching the premiere tomorrow night and thought I would write down notes as I was watching. I ended up writing down a lot of quotes direct from the show and from Adam & Eddie. And I wrote the biggest CS/ST meta ever. Like, you better not have anything else to do when you read this.

Done with that Captain Swan Fire thread, civil discussion my butt. Left as soon as someone said that Captain Swan is an illusion. Yeah right sure.
Telling you people won’t accept Captain Swan completely until it’s in their face, punching them. They will always find excuses no matter how lame the excuses are.

Hookian, I’m sorry you’re upset but I believe you misread/misinterpreted the post. I responded to the CSF thread over there, but I’ll post what I wrote here too in case you don’t make it back over there.

The post in question, if I’m understanding this correctly, said that the way it’s set up is an illusion (not allusion) as in optical illusion, meaning people can see it however they want. That’s what the writers are doing. They are giving people the chance to see it both ways because they are building the triangle on both sides (because both sides are equally legit). They also did not say it was a red-herring. They are implying that you can see whatever you want to see and it’s ok.”
I would also like to reiterate the need for polite discourse. If you read through the entire thread, most of the SFers acknowledge CS as perfectly legit and very possible. It’s the endgame where we differ. I seriously cannot say this enough. I understand you’re having a reactionary response because you feel like you were not respected and I’m going to go back to the CSF thread and make a post and keeping everything polite but I do believe this was a case of misreading a post.

Yep, I agree, was saying that a few pages ago. It’d be great to be able to add to the gif list of parallels!!!!!

I already spy the massive parallels in episode 2 for Snowing and Captain Swan.
Aside from Snowing/Captain Swan having pretty similar plotlines in the present and past.(Snow/Emma= lost girl, Regina/Pan= giving them what they want but at a price, and Hook/Charming= doing whatever it takes to stop them.)
6. Also in the flashback, Charming faces an uphill battle winning over some very protective people.
Clearly this is in reference to the dwarves whom are protective of Snow. Hey guys who in the present is trying to win the Charmings over?
People like to tell me the parallels don’t exist. What’s gonna be the excuse now?
