ParticipantI just posted this to another thread but I think Emma and Killian are going to have another similar experience to help each other through here pretty soon and it could actually be the thing that makes Pan’s plan backfire even more.
Regardless of how Emma finds out that Neal is alive, when they find out that he has been captured I believe that Killian’s fatherly feelings for Bae are going to surface BIG TIME – regardless of whether or not he thinks Neal’s return could affect his relationship with Emma. As someone pointed out in the other thread, Hook once made the comment to David “The things we do for our children.” Bae is the closest thing Hook has ever had to a child.
So Killian is suddenly going to ALSO be on a mission to save HIS child. Not only that but as both Emma and Hook are trying to save “their” children they will both have to rely on the help of their arch enemies in order to be successful. Emma has come to accept that she needs Regina in order to save Henry, as seen by agreeing that Regina should rip the Lost Boy’s heart out (and she has had two seasons to get used to co-parenting Henry). But this will be the first time Hook and Rumple will have EVER addressed BOTH being a “father” to Bae and working together as two fathers to save him. Since Killian hasn’t had that experience before he is going to have to rely on Emma to help him through it.
So far Emma has been the one depending on Hook to learn how to trust again and believe that she is worth loving and sticking around for. She had to figure out on her own how to be a parent when you feel like you aren’t capable of being one. Up to now Killian has done a lot of self-growth but he might have to turn to Emma for help on how to forgive yourself for “giving up” your child and learning how to be a parent when you weren’t expecting to be one.
I watched Tallahassee again and when they are in the bar Neal tells Emma that Rumple told him there are no accidents, that everything happens for a reason and he wonders if fate brought them together for a reason and says that maybe something good could come out of their time together. Of course, we all knew at the time that Henry was the result, but maybe they were also supposed to be together so that Hook and Bae could eventually be reunited.

ParticipantHm, I can’t quite see it playing out like that. I think they’re going to save their next kiss for something special. You know, at a time when they’re looking at each other all intensely and knowing that the other wants to kiss them. Looking at the kiss in context now there was a very obvious build up to it. It was actually quite similar to “The Heart is a Lonely Hunter”. At the beginning of the episodes, Emma rebuffs Graham/Killian denying that she has feelings for them. And after an “eventful” day she plucks up her courage and kisses them. The difference being that Killian didn’t die in her arms. After watching the whole episode that kiss scene was just so much more special to me. In their first scene he wanted her to know that he completely knew what having no hope felt like (gawd these two just make me want to FASKFJAKF), just as he had felt at a time, and was telling her that if she wanted to talk about it she could. She of course was terrified at this, feeling like they were connected enough already, so she tried to shut him down. But her body language. He was touching her arm that entire scene, of that i’m nearly sure, and yet she made no move to remove it. Then in their next scene together she is clearly at war with herself, she is staring at him and he at her, almost flirty, both trying to figure the other out. I just can’t with these two. Then the kiss scene. It was just so amazing because he had basically spent the entire episode putting her needs above his own. Was completely bashful when Charming gave him credit for saving him. Couldn’t handle her genuine thanks at the situation. And then she kissed him, and both of them were reeling. Him because he realises he’s in love with her. And she, well, she knows now that she’s in deeper with him than she thinks. The haters favourite argument is that Emma only kissed him just to prove a point, not because she has any feelings for him. But the truth is she has been wanting to do it for a while IMO. She must have been terrified because the last man she kissed that she had feelings for died. And the other one she had feelings for? Left her. It must have taken all her courage to kiss him, and she took a leap of faith. The fact that her walls slammed back up afterwards doesn’t mean she has no feelings for him, it means precisely the opposite. Because she has to leave, before she gets in too deep with him. And she doesn’t want anything to distract her from saving Henry. And that is why I don’t think she’ll just randomly try to kiss him again anytime in the next episode or two. Haha. *sighs* This ship will be the death of me.
lol yeah that’s probably more me just writing my next fanfic in my head. I think Emma will find out pretty quick about Nealfire being on the island either from Hook or some other source. I’m holding out hope that it’s Hook. The kiss struck them both very deeply I know it, the reaction they both had they were about to to keel over! I’m sticking to my thing of Hook will want to win over Emma despite Neal’s presence, he’ll want to prove himself over him and in the end that’s the best way.

ParticipantOh thank goodness, the press release for Ariel was put out and Hook and David are going to try to rescue Neal, YAY he doesn’t keep it to himself.
So this probably means that Killian’s internal struggle is the fact that he loves Emma, his “sons” girl. But this is a good thingggggg. It’s what we expected all along. Killian will struggle BUT if Emma wants him(and she will)…. you know, that’s it.
But do you seeeeee, he’s going to try to rescue Neal for her, putting her happiness above his own YET AGAIN
THAT IS
TRUE
FREAKING

BlockedI think its huge that Pan is trying to tear apart Hook and Emma, that’s the big bad always does with true love couples and Neal IS the obstacle this episdoe made that clear.
Emma and Hook are Once’s interpretaion of Buttercup and Westley a true love couple between a pirate and a princess especially they confirmed the shoutouts to that were intentional and basically confirmed they’re Westley and Buttercup.

1 billion percent agree. Honestly though, if you’re watching the show with any logic at all, you’d be able to spot that IMO.
So i’d just like to, you know, reiterate that next week is going to be TOUGH for us. But regardless of any circumstances under which the saving of Neal goes down, the inescapable fact is that Killian is going to try to rescue him. That will mean something to Emma.
3×06 is going to be designed to make us empathise very strongly with Killian. Jeez, just his face in the promo alone KILLED me. And in the long term it’ll be great, because anyone who is watching the show with no shipping in mind will start to root for Killian to “get the girl”, which is what the writers intend to do, make no mistake.
I have a feeling that the Swanfire reunion will be very emotional and heartfelt – she does love the guy after all. There’ll probably be tears and watery smiles (there won’t be any kissing though). But once that initial reunion is over, Emma will begin to emotionally retreat. We’ve had confirmation from A+E that Emma won’t be running into his arms. So, probably when Neal, Emma and Killian get lost in the jungle together Emma is going to face what she “feels or doesn’t feel” for Neal (quote JMo) and we’re going to see that “the things you say to someone when they’re going to die are not the same as the things you say when you have a chance to sit down and talk” (quote Eddy). So in light of all that I’m going to stick with what i believe that Emma will realise she loves Killian in the season finale, probably in 3×11 but maybe not until 3×22, when he does something sacrificial that constitutes to a “leap of faith” and thus paralleling Emma in 3×01. She won’t necessarily tell him though.

ParticipantIt was almost as if this episode was designed to disprove all of the arguments for why Hook isn’t good enough for Emma—both the ones the characters voice and the ones some parts of the audience have been voicing. Killian Jones became a pirate not because he liked being corrupt but because he wanted to fight against the corrupt king whose desire to slaughter his enemies cost Killian his beloved brother. Killian Jones was a man of honor, and this flashback made me believe that honorable heart was just waiting to be reawakened. He had once been a noble man; he just needed reminding that he could be that man again.
And who was his reminder? A beautiful, strong savior who is just as broken as he is. “Good Form” showed us Hook coming to the realization that he is, in fact, in love with Emma Swan. It began with their scene in the cave, when Hook tried to tell Emma he understood what it was like to lose hope. The way his eyes lit up when he looked at her as he said the word “hope” was breathtaking. O’Donoghue played that moment to perfection; Hook found in Emma a reason to hope again after 300 years without it, and he needed her to know that. But Emma’s walls came up once again in the face of such disarming sincerity, and she pulled away. Morrison is so good at showing the exact moment when Emma’s walls come back up around people, and it was so painfully evident in that scene.
The rest of the episode was one scene after another of Hook proving just how much he cares for, understands, and respects Emma. I loved the way he refused to get more rope when Charming told him to but acquiesced as soon as Emma demanded it (or maybe I just loved hearing him call her a lady in that gorgeous accent of his). I loved the fact that he told Charming Emma was a grown woman who could make up her mind about him for herself, especially since so many people have tried to make decisions for Emma throughout her life. I loved that Charming confirmed what we knew to be true: Hook came to Neverland for Emma; he risked his life, gave up his quest for revenge, and journeyed back to the place that killed his brother for Emma. And he also told Charming that he saved him because of Emma—that little moment (the wink!) probably serving as my second-favorite moment in the episode. (I think you can all guess the first.) It took me by surprise with its honesty in the best possible way.
The most telling scene concerning Hook’s relationship with Emma was his first confrontation with Pan in the episode. Pan already knew Emma was Hook’s weakness, but Hook never took the bait; he never took the easy way out. He knew Emma would never leave without Henry. Emma’s strength as a mother is part of the fighting spirit that drew him to her right away, so it was wonderful to see him do the right thing for Emma rather than the thing that would make him happiest. Emma’s happiness matters more to him than his own, and that’s the sign of a truly honorable man.
Because Emma’s happiness matters more than his, Hook was willing to forgo any glory or gratitude from Emma and keep her father’s secret even after he saved him. He saved Charming not for any selfish idea that Emma would thank him or feel indebted to him but from a real belief that she shouldn’t have to lose anyone else; that’s what he meant when he said he didn’t do it for Charming. But then Charming told a half-truth about Hook saving his life, and this man who was once reviled as a pirate got his recognition as a hero. O’Donoghue played Hook’s reaction to Charming’s praise perfectly; the living embodiment of honor thanked Hook for being an honorable man, and the bashful half-smile on his face said everything about how much that must have meant to Hook, especially after all we learned about his past.
And then the Charmings and Regina walked away from the toast, leaving only Emma and Hook behind. I’ll admit it; I watched the kiss scene sneak peek more than my fair share of times before this episode aired, but it still managed to take my breath away. There were just so many wonderful things happening in that scene: Hook surprising Emma with his sincerity once again (putting special emphasis on the fact that it was her father he couldn’t let die); Emma surprising him right back with her sincere “Thank you;” Hook playfully tapping his lips to ask for a kiss he never imagined getting; Emma smiling for the first time in ages as she realized just how much he wants her to kiss him; Emma playing along with his flirting and throwing Hook completely off-guard; the two of them challenging each other; and then the actual kiss. I may love Snow and Charming the most out of any Once Upon a Time couple, but there was no denying this was the show’s best kiss—the show’s hottest kiss. And it was all Emma’s choice, something she has been denied so many times in her life. Hook let her know he wanted to kiss her, but he let her make that decision on her own. She had all the power in that moment, and she seemed to relish the power he was giving her. And there’s no way that was a one-time thing. Both Emma and Hook were fundamentally affected by that moment—just look at his face when they stop kissing and her trance-like walk after she leaves him. But once again, Hook will wait until she’s ready because he wants to be her choice—he’s a gentleman of honor. Until then, he’ll follow her orders and watch her walk away with an “As you wish” on his lips, making Emma smile once again (two smiles in one scene—it’s an Emma fan’s dream!) and making us all wonder if Hook could be the Westley to Emma’s Buttercup. The most telling moment in that scene though, comes when the camera focuses on Hook after Emma leaves. Standing there, with his fingers tracing the path her lips made on his, we know there’s no going back for him. And he knows it, too. For the first time in 300 years, Hook has fallen in love—not lust, but love. For the first time in 300 years, he has a reason to hope. Emma kissed him—she kissed him—and nothing will ever be the same for him; it’s written all over his face.

ParticipantGuys, I just watched the episode!!!!!
aaaaaahhh khgirhgkfncbrhgogg
They are perfect, just perfect! You basically wrote everything I had in mind and I’m so happy reading that they really played the CS theme. I thought I imagined it.
The way Killian acted after the kiss – he realized he loves her! And she thought: Oh my god, I gotta get out of here before I kiss him again. After seeing this I totally think they’ll be together someday. Even if Pan gets in the way.
He couldn’t handle it, she couldn’t handle it – and I can’t handle it at all!!!!
