LOL – love those @surayya! Let them hate, we know who’s going to win out in the end! I don’t intentionally read their stuff, but they come over to CS shippers on tumblr and spew their hate everywhere and make genuinely stupid arguments (I heard some of them were saying that Neal was the Westley to Emma’s Buttercup???? WHAT? No doubt threatened over the comparison WE made of the flower tattoo. Idiots) and contradict themselves, ignore dialogue in scenes, ignore things stated IN CANON and by writers and actors and generally just behave badly.
I just honestly wonder how we’re all watching the same show sometimes.
Even though we know what’s going on tonight, SO EXCITED because we seem to be missing some key points in the recap. Also, tones of voice, body language, facial expressions…. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Wow, they really do that?! That’s seriously sad- on so many levels. I’m outright ashamed of the fandom sometimes & sadly this seems to be going the way of the SQ debacle again. I cant understand why people just cant ship & let ship- it’s insane to spew hate over a TV show- love what you love, don’t taint what you love by hating apart of it :/ I really feel for Adam, Eddy & the cast after every ep- they get hate from 2 sides now the septic SQ’ers & the septic ST/SF fans … I’d hope there isnt any or many septic CS fans out there atm! Cant wait for tomorrows ep either, I want to see it all play out! The buttercup flower thing fits so perfectly (if that is what is, which seems a given at this point- due to all the PB parallels) & it’s pretty much nailed CS ship firmly into endgame for me now 🙂

It hasn’t been confirmed yet, it might never be, and there are some inconsistencies, such as the flower being the same as the one on Charming’s family crest which I think is white, BUT saying that there are white buttercups:
Honestly though, there has been no other flower associated with the show so far and this would just fit perfectly if it IS a buttercup. *sigh* we can dream though!
I love CS and would ship them regardless of endgame-ness but I knew CS were endgame the MINUTE Killian gave up his revenge and came back for Emma. In 2×09 he said he wouldn’t have abandoned her and in 2×22 he PROVED it. I had my doubts over the summer because it was SO. LONG. – such as the TL music being played when Emma told Neal she loved him in 2×21. But Adam clarified that – “just because someone truly loves someone does not mean they end up together”. But seriously, this season so far has only made me more and more sure of them being TL. It’s going to be a bumpy journey and i’m sure my babies will have some awful times ahead but I KNOW they’re going to come out on top and be proven TL.

Therefore, imagine my surprise, horror, anger, and downright HURT when the first thing I discover this morning while doing my morning forum check are posts/posters calling the other side “stupid” and “jackass” which goes against the ship and let ship AND the respect rule to such an absurd extent that I am currently having trouble forming words. PLEASE EXPLAIN TO ME HOW CALLING SOMEONE STUPID OR A JACKASS IS KEEPING INLINE WITH THE RULES OF THIS FORUM.
This is not coming from an SF ship perspective. This is coming AS YOUR MODERATOR.
I have been tolerant. I have been patient. And I have been kind. I have allowed you guys to fangirl/guy out over spoilers without trying to be a cruel and demand that they be covered up. I have spoiled tagged posts over and over without issuing warnings.
But enough is enough.
Either you don’t respect ME or you don’t respect DANIEL or you don’t respect THIS FORUM. Or maybe all three.
Frankly, I don’t care. Either you follow the rules Daniel has set and that I and Matt try to enforce or I am going to be get seriously nasty. SO for clarification
1) RESPECT all posters, posts, thoughts, ideas, interpretations, theories, and beliefs. I don’t care if the idea of something makes you want to set yourself on fire: by god YOU ARE GOING TO REPSECT EVERYONE’S RIGHT TO BELIEVE WHAT THEY WANT. There is a difference between thoughtful and considerate debate and hatred. Do you GET that these are other PEOPLE. This not a WAR. These are not enemies you trying to pick off one by one. These are OTHER HUMAN BEINGS who simply have a different line of thought than you. My god, guys! In the not too distant future, this show is going to go off the air. And maybe we will be sad that things didn’t turn out the way we wanted them to. But guess what: you’ll move on. You’ll get another fandom and another show and you’ll ship something else.
2) SHIP AND LET SHIP EVEN IF THAT SHIP IS NO SHIP. You do not get to claim to be doing that and then post such incredible hate.
You think I’m harsh or unfair? Fine. You want to hate me? I don’t care anymore. Hate me. Disrespect me. But you are going to resepct the rules of this forum.

I thought they were funny only because of all the hate myself and my fellow CS shippers have been getting elsewhere, and with silly arguments like the one I cited above (that Neal is the Westley to Emma’s buttercup) that have absolutely no foundation in canon, or have even less foundation than our arguments. It’s a way to relieve the tension of the hate.
I am just honestly fed up of the hate that I and some of my friends get sometimes on a daily basis and this is a great place to argue/state some of my thought’s against what they say, because I do not engage the haters when they come to my inbox on tumblr.
Again, no disrespect intended towards any shippers on this site, you don’t randomly come into this thread and spew hatred at us, and we don’t do it to you guys! It’s one of the things I love about the site.

You want to yell and scream and call the Tumblr people stupid then TAKE IT TUMBLR. YOU DON’T BRING IT HERE. Because you’re not distinguishing between “us” (people you claim to respect and who are not “haters”) and those out there “in the wilds” as I call it. Because we’re all Oncers and you’re painting everyone on a different ship with the same brush. Commiserating with your fellow shipmates is one thing. SFers do it because (OH SHOCK) they get the hate too! They get spammed on Tumblr and Twitter and mocked and hated at too. They come here, tell us they’re under attack and we offer sympathy. Do the same. “Hey shipmates, I just got some nasty posts on Tumblr and I’m feeling low. Someone offer me up a video or a GIF or a parallel essay to make me feel better?” You want to say, “I received this argument against our ship in Tumblr and instead of engaging in the hate, I’d like to point out what I think is a better interpretation.” FINE. BY ALL MEANS. But you don’t get to fight hatred with hatred! Since when was fighting hatred with hatred A GOOD IDEA?! You’re right, SFers don’t come over here and spew hate (and if they did, I would beat them down with all the power I have just the same as if a CSer made their way over to the SF thread) (you want proof? the minute after I wrote my previous post, I went over to the SF thread and reminded everyone of the rules. I am trying–with all my might–to be fair and create an environment where people don’t feel like they are being hated upon) I *know* we read each others posts and that we respond to them in our own threads. I’m sorry, that wasn’t what I intended! I called them “haters” and I thought that was enough of a distinction. Like I said, I don’t consider anyone on this site to be haters. But I will take it to tumblr if I need to rant and rave in future in order to avoid any more hurt on your part.

Honestly, I don’t, because I know you guys on this site are intelligent and bring up great arguments, so I avoid the SF thread here like the plague because I want to live in blissful ignorance. But in fairness, the CS side DO get some normal SF shippers who bring over their arguments in a polite way so i’m aware of both good and bad points that the SF side bring up.

Hey sorry I just woke up late night voting, they say we’re do win in twitter votes like tweets out from the website. I tried to get stat tracks on tweets but couldn’t figure out how to do it. I’m not tweeting out my votes from the site I’m simply retweeting or adding “Emma/Hook #chemistry #peoples choice” to any tweet I make. It’s the same thing. The number of tweets reflected from the site is much lower for two reasons many of us are doing the same thing and just RTing each other, there’s a list of 101 reasons to vote Captain Swan and one of 50 and that’s just a fraction of the tweets out there that aren’t counted since they’re not direct tweets from the voting site. Also remember that’s in addition to regular votes that just aren’t being tweeted. the voting party starts at 6 EST hope we all can make it! Votes from the mobile app, computer votes, tweets and RTs all count the same plenty of work to go around 🙂
P.S. What we were effectively doing last night was one of us was streamlining tweets by just adding a number while the other retweeting it’s a good tactic I think.
