Page 300! Wow! Especially considering that tons of the posts here are humongous (I am most definitely to blame for many of them – I’ve even broken the character limit before, sad but true!) which means that we have a ridiculous amount of stuff. Incredible!
Welcome aboard Jennifer! Always nice to have new shipmates join us! (It’s especially nice after a night like last night which consisted of staying up ridiculously late trying to defend Hook!)
The scarf thing – if I’m not mistaken, the scarf was kept in the Sheriff’s office along with Hook’s hook (so she kept it in the drawer with his hook in her office. Not remotely sentimental. He didn’t ask for it back, she hadn’t tried to give it to him, it was soaked in blood and rum….yet lovingly locked away with his hook). I *think* he took it back along with his hook. I’m not positive though. In Good Form he covered his face with something that I imagine could have been that (it was a nice nod to Princess Bride with the face covering thing and the climbing the rock wall with a rope etc etc) but it was never actually explained how he got it back or if that was it. Personally I’m hoping he made note of both items being there and took them back as they were his, but I love the idea that she didn’t get rid of it or give it back. Even if she had though, they never actually made a big deal about her giving it back meaning it wasn’t an important thing even though we saw her hand back the swan necklace (and she’s sentimental and keeps stuff so I think she kept the scarf, though we never saw mention of him retrieving it).
Working on a variety of metas & going to try to just spread them out a bit. I’ve been making a list of things I want to address though so hopefully I’ll get around to those shortly.
LOVE all the wonderful graphics and gifsets! I notice so many more things now just from staring at beautiful gifs or pictures! Plus there are always moments that others remember that I don’t which make for perfect parallels!
LOVED the Ship Shape update on our couple! 1 – the fact that they chose Emma and Hook to explain and 2 – on top of everything that happened, pointing out how OBVIOUS it is that Emma was irked by that moment.
I mean really, that moment was NOT the time to be focusing on whether someone she “doesn’t care about” was potentially hooking up with someone else. If anything, she might have cast an eyebrow raise or been relieved hat he wasn’t gonna pursue her anymore or SOMETHING. But instead they actually had her stop, look hurt, actually ASK if that was what was going on (which means her mind IMMEDIATELY LEAPT to that conclusion etc etc. Why should she care if she’s not interested? We got a lot of that from Neal/Tamara saying Emma was jealous and not just hurt on principle (it was both and it’s completely easy to be hurt and jealous even if you never want the guy back – trust me, I’ve been there) but it’s somehow impossible that she might get jealous over Hook? *sigh*
So it was refreshing to see someone who is usually in the know on things to say how obvious it was. That scene served no purpose whatsoever. They could have come out and all started running and been a part of it and sent on their missions and it would have made complete sense. Emma visibly stopped and got concerned and looked hurt and actually asked it. Yeah it was totally nothing.
Poor thing – she spent all morning waiting for a phone call from Henry (checking her phone when Charming got to her), and nobody believed something was wrong and thought she was just jealous of Regina, and Neal’s asking her for a date even though she didn’t even really seem to want to set up a talk much less put those parameters on it (and then didn’t show), and her parents are pushing for her to go back to him to the point that Charming goes to pick her up to take her to the diner himself, and she’s all “why is everyone pushing me to Neal? Is it to keep me away from Hook?” (paraphrase) which is yet another one of those unnecessary moments. They could have had a beautiful heart-to-heart about alllll the reasons Snowing felt like she owed it to herself more than Neal to go and talk to him. (She does in a way – she needs answers and closure on the past before she’ll be able to fully move on and embrace ANY romantic relationship). That would have been fine. But they through in her asking Charming if he was trying to keep her away from Hook. The wording I just….they really can’t see that she might be interested in him, can they? They’ve accepted that Hook does care for her but they can’t pick up on all the signals she’s throwing out that she might like him too (like, I don’t know, practically jumping him in NL and then running to MM to tell her about it. It’s like Graham again only she didn’t get the memo this time).
Lots more to say but going to leave them for more concise metas. I’ll check them off the list one by one as we wait with baited breath for more information about 3×11! I need CONTEXT. The promo look just killed me, and now we have some pics that make no sense whatsoever and future episodes that don’t add up with what we’ve been told yet etc etc. I need context!
Love how excited JMO is about the episode though. She tends to pick the same ones we do for big stuff and if she’s excited, I’m excited. Good things for Emma I hope and with the look in the promo with them being so close and having genuine emotion I just…I need to know what’s happening! Hopefully she teases some stuff along the way or we get word about something that has some context to it.

Hi All, I’ve been lurking for a month or so now but thought I’d post … I’ve gotten nothing new to say regarding my thoughts on my favorite ship right now because you all have summed them up freakishly well, so I figured I’d just drop in a hi and say how much I absolutely love this forum and thread in particular … it’s awesome to finally find a group that can gush and squee about our couple and yet be incredibly respectful and supportive of everyone else’s thoughts and opinions! Looking forward to getting some of my thoughts together and feed back from everyone!

Well all of our shipmates thoughts and opinions are welcome aboard the Captain Swan ship 🙂 I know we all look forward to hearing from each other after each episode or in this case especially each promo. I’m with everybody else I can’t get over that look they give each other!
I keep thinking of how the potion Hook has in the spoiler pics fits in with Pan possibly casting a new curse robbing everyone of their memories or sending a lot of them back to the EF . The only thing I can come up with is that Emma does lose her memories. Hook some how gets out curse or comes back to the real world from the EF and brings back A potion that can restore her memories and comes looking for her in New York. Since she doesn’t know who he is and probably keeps following her around trying to talk to her that’s probably how Hook gets arrested In the middle of that happening he says something that makes her think he’s telling the truth and that’s why Emma bails him out and why she takes the drink from him, her memory is revived and we get the reunion hug which is the last time they’ve seen each other since the new curse hit and they share that moment in the promo. Whew!!! I know that’s a lot of conclusions but what do you all think?
Interesting theory Stelio! I like it! (I’m seriously lost at this point and coming up with a gazillion conflicting ways that things might play out. Hope we get a better idea so we can make sense of it soon! March is forever away!)

@Stelio I love your theory! Especially since it parallels the episode where Snow had taken the forgetting potion but then ended up kissing Charming even though she didn’t remember who he was yet.
Honestly, I have been completely baffled by all of the spoiler pictures but your theory makes sense of all of them and I just love the idea of it!

The only thing about this is that there is a spoiler pic/photo of Hook and Emma driving off in her bug together. I assumed that they went to New York together with Henry. I initially thought that everyone would be affected by the new curse, but maybe it’s just those that were affected by the first curse? That means Hook, Emma and Henry would be spared. I know that I’m probably TOTALLY wrong about that, but it’s just an idea. I do like your theory of Hook saving the day by finding a potion to help Emma. I like when Hook does heroic things because he loves Emma.

what if that’s pre-curse after they switch Henry back? It could be the look happens after the bug scene
