Omg, my mam and my sister are always looking at me askance when I come home from Dublin, they think I’m a total weirdo to be so obsessed with a couple. They also may have seen that the kiss is my screensaver for everything etc. (yes I have a problem but I AM NOT IN DENIAL)

Aw thank you!!!!!!!! I just woke up, went to bed and that post had 100+ notes and now it has 400+!!!! I’m amazed lol. But yeah, even me looking at my own post makes me so freaking excited my head is going to explode.

Love how excited JMO is about the episode though. She tends to pick the same ones we do for big stuff and if she’s excited, I’m excited.
Not going to lie, am getting my hopes up. At NYCC she said her favourite episode to film so far was Good Form – we ALL know what happened in that episode lol.
Hi All, I’ve been lurking for a month or so now but thought I’d post … I’ve gotten nothing new to say regarding my thoughts on my favorite ship right now because you all have summed them up freakishly well, so I figured I’d just drop in a hi and say how much I absolutely love this forum and thread in particular … it’s awesome to finally find a group that can gush and squee about our couple and yet be incredibly respectful and supportive of everyone else’s thoughts and opinions! Looking forward to getting some of my thoughts together and feed back from everyone!
You guys are beyond welcome, it sometimes gets overwhelming with all the SF shippers here, so the more the merrier!!!! Can’t wait to hear more thoughts and perspectives!

The only thing I can add to the already well analysed happenings of E10- Is I found it VERY interesting that Emma’s “I dont get a day off to be happy” line, comes AFTER wondering if Tink & Killian had their own ‘moment’ 😉 That speaks volumes to me personally, since the last time she said she was feeling “happy” was when she kissed Killian & that is what got me wondering (& frankly loving the idea of), it being Emma, who when she finds out what Killian has done & feels (or even when she is eventually feeling ok about a relationship with someone), who says something like ‘You are what I want (or choose/need/insert whatever), so dont back off’ Or even telling him ‘Dont (back off), that’s not whats best for myself or Henry’ Or even, ‘Nobody but me, knows whats best for Henry & I- dont back out of my life’ something along those lines.
I have actually wondered if maybe the potion has something to do with the fact that Hook/Killian appears to end up in EF, with Neal, Snowing & co. I thought the hug could be a ‘You cant leave Henry, so I will go in your stead’ ‘thank you’ (I can always rely on you) emotion filled type hug- but I like Stelio’s theory, it seems to piece together all the info we’ve had so far (aside from mystery man- but that could just be who ‘cursed memory’ Emma looks up….. otherwise why in S1 would Emma have wished for family, if she felt she had a strong bond with a previous ‘brother’ figure- but then how would he be in NY…. I’ll give myself a head ache trying to think that one through at this stage I think lol).

400?! That’s amazing! I think I’ve gotten to 200 like once but hey I might get my chance again after the PCAs my number of followers like quadrupled!
I’m gonna keep thinking about this theory cause I feel like I’m on to something the writers like to parallel true love pairing and this one has a good one with Snowing like @rumplegoldfan mentioned. I hadn’t even thought of that really when I was concocting my theory but it really fits nicely. A couple of things I’d like to polish up is how Emma ends up in New York and how Hook ends up there too. Assuming my theory is on track that is.

Oh great point! I think it’s also important to acknowledge that the kiss was literally the only moment where Emma took a moment to enjoy herself where a disaster didn’t happen afterwards. And she said that that never happens.
I don’t want to speculate on the whole memory thing anymore until we see exactly what happens next week. Next week seems complicated.. from the press release the man who plays Regina’s father will be returning, so Regina flashback. Smee is back – but he is currently a rat in SB, so NL flashback with Hook? I hope so. Especially because from the promo photos we know that the episode looks pretty Tink centric. And the nurse/doctor from the Henry birth scene are also appearing so we may also possibly get an Emma flashback.
My head hurts, lol.

this is what blew me away. Last night when I was watching Hook stepping aside, I thought the SF fans would be happy especially the ones that insist Hook can only show character growth by stepping aside. Silly me! They were still out for his blood. it made me wonder if they would only be happy if hook sailed away to make way for Bae, but even then they would claim Hook abandoned Emma even if Hook explicitly tells Emma he’s leaving so she and Bae could be together.
Hook did something that was hard for him and somewhat selfless. He was willing to put aside what he believes is his only chance of happiness for Hemry and Bae.
about the Tink Hook scene. I thought the most intriguing thing coming out of that scene was his opening line about understanding how disorienting StoryBrook can be for a newcomer. Hook never had the benefit of false memories to make sense the our world or the benefit of anyone taking him under their wing to explain things. I would like to see how Hook adjusts. It is not clear to me that Hook was asking for a booty call. Tink automatically went there. E had asked her to share a drink. He’s not the same man she knew way back when. Finally drunk people do stupid things so I don’t hold this against him. It’s not like he was engaged to her cough Tamara cough.

I have a theory on the new curse.
I think one of two things happens. just as the curse starts to hit either:
a. Hook and Emma kiss, partially protecting the, from the new curse but not completely; or
b2. Hook tells her he doesn’t want to forget her that he doesn’t want to be the man he was before meeting her and Emma tells him to remember me putting a little magic behind it subconsciously, so he does remember her after the curse hits and that is why he is the one to go to NY.

I thought it was incredibly selfless on his part! Stepping aside to take the chance that the person he loves might be happier with someone else ? That’s why I didn’t fault Hook for his moment with Tink later sometimes when you’re hurt like that you do anything to help yourself not think about it. I figure SF fans would be happy too Neal was just given his fair chance to make things work with Emma. Killian believes like all us CaptainSwan shippers do that Emma will find her way to him on her own. It’s like what he told her on the island she’ll end up with Killian because she wants him.

I’m nodding vehemently at what you are saying here @sweetgrass. Because i thought the exact same thing. It’s pretty evident that nothing will ever be good enough.

One thing i’m interested in actually! @HappyEndings, if you’re around, what did you think of the Tink/Hook scene?? What do you think Hook’s feelings were etc.? I’m interested in a non-shippy perspective 🙂

Of course it was!!! Neal was the selfish one with regards to Emma IMO. He didn’t even consider “oh, she told me that my presence hurts her only a couple of days ago”. Was just like “thanks man”. No big deal. It’s only Emma’s happiness after all.
Look, i get that it’s normal and human to want to think of his OWN needs, but this is a show about True Love, that is timeless, trancends realms, etc (only one of Emma’s ships was featured in the Timeless promo, just saying). I have every confidence that when he finds his own true love, he’ll be just as selfless (and fearless) with her as Killian is with Emma.
He’s growing on me a bit though. I would say i care about him as much as i care about Archie.
