I totally get you!!
Just take a break for awhile. I did the same thing last year.
I’m a married woman with a son myself and I often have to remind myself that OUaT is just a show but here’s how I look at it (and I’m Christian too by the way).
As moms and wives it’s healthy for us to do things for ourselves so we can be there for our husband and children. OUaT is my “fun” thing. I just have to remember to keep it in check – no way do I get involved in shipping wars, if I start to get overly upset about it I take a deep breath and do something else.
Your post actually got to the heart of what I really LIKE about Colin. I like that he doesn’t get caught up in the fandom – and the reason is that from what I can tell, he is a totally devoted family man. He mentions his wife in all of his interviews, wears his wedding ring proudly displayed in every photo shoot. I think he keeps his distance from his “fans” out of respect for his wife. It can’t be easy to be married to a guy who has women tweeting and flirting with you all the time – I think the way he has chosen to honor her is to try to ignore it all as much as possible. I think when he isn’t working he truly tries to spend as much focused time with his wife and son as possible. For that reason, I’m perfectly okay if he is silent. Just like you said you are blessed with your family – I think he feels the same and wants to protect himself from things that seem to happen to a lot to celebrities that destroy their marriages.
But I totally understand how you feel. Take a break and then come back!!

What if in that “not a day will go by where I won’t think of you” scene Killian would have removed his hook and given it to Emma to take with her? Then when he came back for her reattached it so she’d know they had a past together? 🙂
Sarah- I totally understand. Sometimes I also feel like I can get just a little too emotionally invested in a fictional show, but I view it more as a fun thing I like to do. That’s all. I definitely never let it get in the way of spending time with God or my family and friends. Hopefully, you might consider just taking a break and coming back when the season starts back up again?? If not though, I completely get it. God bless you as well!

That would have been interesting, but it might have been too grand of a gesture at the time. I kind of like that she doesn’t have anything of his (that we know of) that might make her remember immediately. It should be fun seeing exactly how she gets her memories back!
