Yeah it’s sad. I think everyone is just resentful of all the time CS is getting – even though Emma is the main protagonist of this show and it CERTAINLY makes sense that her love story would get the lions share of the time. *sigh* At least A&E and the media know that CS is VERY popular with us fans (ps I got a coworkers wife to start watching ONCE – she ships CS now! And i’ve never even met her or talked to her lol. RESISTANCE IS FUTILE)

I don’t understand the petitions and tweeting the writers because Hook/CS get so much screen time. Also, the profanity some people use on their rants (NOT ON THIS FORUM!) is truly astounding! So much negativity for a show about fairytales, princes and princesses? Really? The most ridiculous thing I’ve read on another website is that Emma is with Hook because he is hot. PLEASE!!! Umm, that is just an added bonus and besides, Emma is pretty stunning herself. As a matter of fact, the whole cast is filled with attractive people. Heaven forbid, Emma actually likes talking to Hook.

Keeper of FelixI really try not to read what the other side thinks of Hook anymore. The hot thing is so incredibly ridiculous. It makes me both upset and sad that fans would demean Hook or Emma and simply refer to it as a hot ‘ship, rather than look at the actual reasons why they are attracted to each other.
I mean, this whole cast is hot. But it’s not just the cast, generally, when you watch any show on television, all the actors are good looking. It’s just the way television and film work. Attractiveness sells. And it’s an insult to the fans in this ‘ship too, that we only care about how hot Hook looks and he would be hot with Emma…that’s part of it but generally, there’s more to why they’re perfect together than sexual attraction.
All the negativity makes me sad too. I was so excited about their whole development as a couple, and all the hatred really took me by surprise. I still feel like the writing so far points to CS though. I feel like shows don’t use wording like “I WILL win it”, unless they mean it! The development of their relationship was obviously important to show us, so I can’t imagine it would just then end up going nowhere. (and it also better not end with Hook dying)
I guess they could somehow switch gears at some point?!? I’ll tell you what though, if they did I would be really mad. I don’t enjoy getting my emotions stomped on by a show. That’s not the kind of show I’m interested in watching. (However, never, EVER, would I send hate to the writers or actors, come on!)
And on another rant, I’m sick of getting teases that can be interpreted as positive by either side! I know the writers don’t want to give things away, but can we just have something that is without a doubt CS?
