He says before season finale, they announced at Paleyfest that the season finale is a two parter. So that means this scene is more than like THIS SUNDAY!
Hook gets back stabbed by 3 people, including Regina. Whom going from sneak peeks, the promo, and the new spoilers goes with Regina down to Maleficent's cave and then Regina snakily betrays him and leaves him there to fight the dragon. He fights the dragon and escapes and goes to find Emma and warn her about everything that's about to transpire.
That's my theory but to me this says we are getting a CS scene more than likely this sunday because we know 21/22 is a 2 part finale.

In 1×03, Snow throws the fairy dust at the trolls to get them off Charming.
In 2×06, Emma throws the poppy dust at the giant to get him off Hook.

I too love these parallels.GOAT with Hook prisoner in the back of the van is almost a parallel with Charming prisoner in king George’s men’s jail cart 😉
