This brightened my day today. A lovely fan recorded the CS theme (you know, the one we heard in Tallahassee when Hook and Emma bonded after climbing the beanstalk), cleaned up the audio and pretty much muted Hook and Emma’s voice, so you can actually the theme played in the background.
It is awesome 😀 😀
Thanks a lot for posting!

ParticipantFrom the Official Podcast:
-In the opening scenes Hook was pretty smug until he sees that Mr. Gold was alive.
Guys- Well yes that's the thing about revenge it feels good until you realize that you've failed.
-Actually really like the whole revenge theme in this piece.
Guys- Yeah I think this was…ummm….a moment where..umm..Hook thought he got revenge and I think like what we saw with Regina in “Welcome to Storybrooke” it's enjoyable for a day, two, sometimes even a week maybe even a month, but at a certain point as he said, revenge is an end, not a beginning. And I think when he sees Gold and Belle walking down the street happy he doesn't just see himself failing, he sees a man who's moved on. And he realizes that's why Gold has beat him. That's why Rumple has beat him, not because he's still alive, but because he's moved on and has found love, and Hook has nothing but revenge.
-I love that perspective. That's actually something that I really hadn't read into it.
In other words people, Hook needs to move on and find love 😀 😀 Emma, give him so lovin’ 😆 😆

That would be so great – I really finally wanna see some interaction between Hook and Emma….

ParticipantMy subconcious is trying to tell me to ship CaptainSwan.
I had a dream last night involving Hook and Emma.
He was trying to impress her and he thought the best thing to do to show he was a family man was to dress up a baby doll and take it to a cafe in a baby seat and pretend it was a real baby. He was getting lots of positive female attention but Emma wasn’t impressed. Then Hook was driving down a freeway in a car with Emma in the front passenger seat when the Wedding march tune plays on the radio. Emma and Hook then just sat in awkward silence.
All magic comes with a price!

ParticipantWhat a great dream, PriceofMagic! 😆 I can actually see it!
But btw – I really think Hook IS very good with children and I’m positive that he’ll get the chance to show this to Emma. 😀May 1, 2013 at 7:29 pm #190466obisgirl
ParticipantOMG!! That is an awesome CS dream 😆 😆
I can see it too 😆 😆 😆 😆

ParticipantHi CaptainSwanners,
I am new to this board so forgive me if I have mentioned themes and opinions already discussed in this thread. I just wanted to proclaim my obsession for this ship and I want it to sail in future seasons!
I have much hope for Hook redeeming himself after watching “The Evil Queen” as you have all mentioned. He is slowly realizing that his revenge does not complete a void, but rather just gives his life a grim conclusion. Since he feels that he has no one in his life that cares for him, I would love to see how he cares for characters in upcoming eppies, especially with the concerned look on his face after Tamara pulls out the list. (I know I don’t have to go in detail about this scene any further, as every Oncer noticed it regardless of whether you like Hook or not).
Does the CS fangirl in me squee, wishing and hoping he is concerned for Emma? *shrugs* I mean, correct me if I am wrong, but he is not aware of Emma’s white magic. I still think he does not want Storybrooke to self-destruct primarily because of Emma, and secondarily because it would be wrong….but maybe I’m grasping at straws here.
What I want to see is a slow and gradual building up of their friendship and sexual tension. I agree with others who have said that he would have to do quite a grand gesture of selflessness to be even a blip on Emma’s radar.
I still think the writers are exploring the possibility of SwanFire, based on recent interactions with Neal (“Do I look like a jealous ex?” hahaha). But, there still needs to be a convo between them exploring all the reasons Neal left her and what she went through. She knows the gist from Manhattan, but I still feel there is an exchange that is missing.
So, cutting my ramblings short, I think Hook will be in Emma’s life in some form in season 3. Do I think he will be her true love? That is up to debate. Do I want them to be? HELL YES.
They are kindred spirits and their lives have many glaring parallels.
I am not sure if this is a spoiler, but I heard that Hook's backstory will be further explored in season 3.
I’d certainly like to see Killian Jones, the man.
Sidenote: obisgirl, I am melting over your avatar right now! *faceplant on laptop*
I am finished. Thanks for reading this roundabout way in which I talk about CS. lol *salutes*

Welcome to the thread Jasminegirl 😀 Always nice to meet new CSer’s.

No, he is not aware of Emma’s magic. He was knocked out that one time at the portal before going back to our world, when she blasted Cora with her true love magic.
I think, in the end, he will realize, what’s to stop Gregmara from going after everyone else in the town after they’re finished with Regina? That will prompt him to take action and possibly change alliances.

This would be excellent. As much as I love reading angsty Captain Swan in fanfiction, seeing a trust built through friendship first and then transition into something romantic, would be satisfying for me to watch too.

It was touched on briefly in Manhattan, but you’re right, it wasn’t fully explored. I mean, Emma had other things to worry about at the time. Maybe we’ll get something in the finale.

I absolutely think he is her True Love. I have a tumblr account and everytime, I see parallels with this pairing, I just go 😮 😯 😮

Considering the titles for the last two episodes are Peter Pan/Neverland related, I think that's a right assumption. It's clearly an introduction to exploring his character some more next season. 😀

Thank you. I found it here. And this is the video it’s from, MEZCLA and Colin O’donoghue.

I’ve been a CSer since “The Doctor,” so new to this board, but totally shipping them and reading as many fanfics as possible to keep me happy before they hopefully make something happen in OUAT 😀

Yeah, that’s what I thought too. Thanks for confirming this!

Yeah, I think so too. It would be one of those smaller gestures of goodness that Emma might take a hint to.

Yeah, it’s amazing to see the parallels fans see on tumblr, YT, and fanfics. The more parallels I see, the more invested I am in CS!

Good to know!!!!!!!! I didn't realize they were Peter Pan/Neverland references. Oh, I'm even more excited to see the season finale now, if that's possible. 😆

Oooooh yeah. I knew exactly where it was from, which is why I am going gaga over it. He has such a gorgeous voice. As if he wasn’t attractive enough, he had to play the guitar and sing well too. Not fair. Not fair at all. His wife is one lucky gal. 😉

Participantyou know, I re-read an old interveiw Colindid for a French magazine (the one where he admitted that Hook is attracted to Emma). Further below, there’s this question:
With his pedigree (I’m supposing they mean his backstory), why are fans so seduced by the character?
Because people love anti-heroes, characters à la Han Solo capable of doing the good thing at the last moment.
and I have a feeling, if Hook is anything like Han in the first movie, he'll run first and then quickly change his mind, come back and help our heroes at the last minute. Plus, I think it's funny after watching The Evil Queen, that people are saying Hook is the anti-hero and Colin even said that himself months ago.
