I was sent a message asking to come over here so here I am.
Here’s what I am going to do. I am going to answer TGK and HarleyGirl’s question and then hopefully every one can go back to shipping. I am outsider and a person who is able to distance themselves from shipping when I need to look at the big picture so I am hoping that everyone will take what I say as unbiased, ect and just move on.
I believe the “we all know it’s Neal” can be translated thus “we the CS shippers believe, based on set pictures, set reports, some Twitter and Tumblr spec, that Neal is going to die. We believe this to be the case, have made this a standing theory in this thread. We recognize that other fans may not agree with this but in shipping threads you must be prepared to read things you will not personally agree with”
I do not believe it was intended as, “we the CS shippers have insider or confirmed knowledge to the plot points of this show.” In all good scholarship, one must define their terms, so what is confirmation: a quote or tweet or interview from Adam Horowitz and Eddy Kitsis, the creators of Once Upon a Time, expressly stating “Neal Cassidy/Baelfire will die.” This can also extend to legit spoilers magazines such as TVLine or TVGuide. As such, no, there is not 100% confirmation on the supposed death of Neal Cassidy from either Adam and Eddy or the spoiler mags or having an advanced screening of any episodes of Once Upon a Time. Headcanon vs fact, in other words.
One more issue. I believe TGK and Harley were asking a question as to the validity of the claims being made and not attempting to start a war or anything else. A theory stated in definitive (ie: the aforementioned “we all know”) terms was raised and they questioned it.
I hope I have addressed to concerns messaged to me.

I absolutely was NOT trying to start a war! Jeez! Relax…..it was a valid question. A simple yes or no would have sufficed. Was pm’ing RG really necedsary?

And yes, it was, IMO (it was me, if you’re wondering). The negativity has gotten so bad around here that I literally don’t enjoy coming here as much as I should, and the fact that your post got my back up STRAIGHT AWAY is an example of the defensive mindset I’m in.
Honestly this site isn’t the pleasant place it used to be anymore.

No you didn’t, actually. And a question can be perceived as negative, just so you know. This is the first time you’ve ever posted in this thread, and it was implied (IMO anyway) that you thought directly opposite to what CSers are thinking, therefore it can be perceived by us as you being negative TOWARDS us. It definitely was by me anyway. If that wasn’t your intention I’m glad.

Not angry here or trying to start a war, however, I need to clarify that there was never any INCIDENT. I read all the threads, including this one. I have never bashed a character or fought with anyone regarding their ship. I’ve posted with Obisgirl, here in this forum, many a times over the past few years. I found her post interesting and thought perhaps I had missed something in the spoilers regarding Neal. So I asked for clarification if it was still speculation or if there was a spoiler out there. I find it hard to believe that people would run to a moderator over this.
It was a genuine question and I have to admit that I’m feeling slighted and disappointed that anyone took it as anything other than a genuine question. Had someone taken the time to respond earlier, just as callmeLola was kind enough to do, you would have realized that by my response.
How about we start off by assuming the very best in each other before we start assuming the worse?
I may not be a CS shipper but it doesn’t mean that I’m not interested in what CS fans have to say or that I shouldn’t be able to ask a question on a ship thread, because frankly, I like some of the things that I read and see here. Stelio’s “bedpost” pic made me spit out my morning coffee, it was so hilarious.
We’re all fans of the same show, so let’s all chat and not worry about something unless it happens? Agreed? 🙂

Assume the best in each other. It’s a long hiatus, we’re almost at the end. I know thing have been tough and I’m sorry there are some hurt feelings, but everyone here is still friendly, still friends, and can still get along.
