And you’re right Eala, Neal is barely an afterthought! I love how they referred to CS as the couple the fans love, because it’s so true!! I’M SO EXCITED FOR TOMORROW!
No Neal interview AT ALL, that says a lot, especially because this interview was taken when they filmed 3×19, and MRJ was supposedly on set then, right?
One thing I wanted to message you about Eala, but while you’re here I may as well ask you, (and then I’ll have to try to go asleep for work in a few hours) what do you think about the fire that sent Emma to NY? SFers are interpreting that to be good for their ship, and I have to say there’s a lot of fire symbolism there.
I’m not at ALL worried about CS, especially after this interview – they were practically GIDDY with excitement!!! Just like I am now!!!! 😀 😀 😀

JMo referred to Neal as Henry’s “‘BIRTH’ FATHER” (also because lbr no matter what SFers say Neal has only been in Henry’s life for like 5 minutes)

THAT IS THE MOST RIDICULOUS, GRASPING ARGUMENT I HAVE HEARD FROM SFERS YET.
It was Regina who implanted Emma’s memories, and do they REALLY think she’s going to plant SUBCONSCIOUS shippy memories of Neal when Regina referred to him as “useless” and “this… person”
I MEAN REALLY?
AND IF IT WAS ACTUAL SYMBOLISM IMPARTED THERE BY A&E TO REPRESENT BAELFIRE/NEAL IT IS IN NO WAY GOOD FOR SWANFIRE. TO THINK THAT IS ABSOLUTELY LUDICROUS.
Once AGAIN, AS THEY LOVE TO DO, they are ignoring the ENTIRE CONTEXT OF THE LINE EMMA SAID
A year ago I was in Boston, until a fire destroyed my apartment and I moved to New York to have a fresh start with my son.
A FIRE (BAELFIRE) DESTROYED HER APARTMENT (HER HOME) AND SHE MOVED TO NEW YORK TO HAVE A FRESH START (I.E. TO MOVE ON)
Their arguments are getting more desperate by the minute and are utterly ridiculous. Tbh I probably won’t be here much in 3b, the anti CS here is just going to get even WORSE, look at @HappyEndings, she’s not a CS or an SF shipper and she’s BEYOND fed up with SFers hate towards CS here, which is only going to get TEN TIMES WORSE when Neal dies.

I read about what SFers say. I think it’s grasping straws. I don’t see how your apartment being destroyed by fire (Baelfire) is in anyway, able to show “hope” for the said ship.
It is a bit crazy and after 3×12 I wouldn’t participate in the chatroom at all and stick to our little CS heaven here XD

Colin trying to stumble his way through the end of that interview and ending with “Um, yeah but . . . he likes her.” while looking all shy and blushing is the darn cutest thing I have seen that man do yet!!! Not to mention JMo being all cutesy watching him trying to get through it. They would both lose their life savings in Vegas – terrible poker faces, it appears they have both just given up and decided to no longer look at the camera because they know they will give it away!!
And I am in COMPLETE agreement about the “birth father” comment. You know why??? My husband is my second husband. My first husband is my son’s BIRTH FATHER – that is EXACTLY what I call him because he has basically no involvement in my son’s life – my husband has raised my son since he was 2 years old, he considers him his dad. So using the BIRTH FATHER term is definately what you use when there are two father figures in a child’s life – especially if one of them is absent (as in dead, for example). I caught that in the interview as well.
So excited, so excited, SO EXCITED!!!
Eala, you MUST come here during 3b because seriously, I see your stuff on Tumblr but it is NOT THE SAME!!!! 🙂 Condensed going nuts getting everyone all excited is much more fun!!
Now. Seriously, that interview was the cutest thing ever. I love how Colin’s getting all flustered and blushing for his character it is so stinkin’ cute. And Jen’s loving every minute of it. Colin has brought the word “erm” into my life, and it is quite possibly the best word ever.
There’s no doubt; wherever Neal is, it’s not with Emma; unless every single scene we haven’t gotten glimpses of has Emma and Neal together. We are going to be gifted with a LOT of CS this half, and I cannot wait!!~~~~~~~~~~I saw a little of the Baelfire/fire in Boston thing; I try to be understanding of the other ships but the more I think about this, the more it doesn’t make any sense. I’m guessing Regina’s curse puts some basic information in the person’s head and their subconscious makes up the rest. Sooo….Great, his name’s Baelfire. But not to Emma. And it quote – “He was always Neal to me”. Which, IMO, means either, she doesn’t equate ‘fire’ with Neal at all OR if she does, she equates a horrible, life-destroying event with him. Um…neither are particularly awesome. And she’s a bail bondswoman. She’s going to have to live in a highly populated city. ‘Cause you know, that’s where the criminals generally hide out and stuff. What large city is close to Boston? That’s still a good place to raise a child? Where you can start over and no one knows you? New York. But I digress. ~~~~~~~I think one thing that I’m going to have to steer clear of is the animosity regarding Henry and Hook bonding. Like Rumplegoldfan pointed out, you don’t have to be biologically related to be a father figure. And Hook has never alluded to the idea that he wants to replace Neal in Henry OR Emma’s lives (sorry folks – if Neal wanted to play a part in Emma’s life, he wouldn’t have stayed away. Make your bed, deal with it.). Children can – and should – have various adult figures in their lives to learn from and lean on. Henry’s already got 2 mother figures – why can’t he have 2 men in his life that care about him and want to be there for him? Ugh, that argument makes me so extremely angry, in case you can’t tell! 🙂 ~~~~~~~I do enjoy the ‘Hook stole Emma from Neal’ argument though, simply because it’s ludicrous. 1) Emma is a big girl and has SERIOUS control over every aspect of her life. No one’s ‘stealing’ Emma from anyone or anything. 2) Um….you can’t ‘steal’ Emma from someone who hasn’t been in her life for over 10 years, and who ONLY pops back up because his duplicitous father caused it to happen. Ok, enough ranting. I had to get it out of my system though!!! 🙂
CS FEELS!!! I have a feeling I’m going to be doing a LOT of talking to the tv tomorrow!!! (Cause, um, apparently I do that…) I’M SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!
