Sunday is the last episode of this season so it has to come out between now and then, right?
[adrotate group="5"]May 9, 2013 at 10:41 pm #192578MysteryKat25ParticipantThis was just linked in another thread by HappyEndings but I wanted to post it here as well.
Obviously pictures are spoilery so click the link at your own risk yada yada does this give us lots of hope or a mixed bag of goodies?
My initial response is O.O to a LOT of the things we see in here (other than the obvious behind the scenes pic that’s posed for the camera) but it gives me some hope for Hook. Nothing of CaptainSwan interaction yet though which makes me think maybe it’s something so big that nobody was allowed to say anything specific about it until much closer (like that interview….) or they are keeping some stuff for the ep.
The pictures definitely surprise me in many many ways but for this thread we can focus on the Hook aspect of it all. It looks good though…I think?

He's protecting Bae, and his love for Milah wins out over his hate of Rumpel. That's something they can parallel with a glance at Emma as Hook forgoes killing a very depressed Rumpel.
Also…
Someone just pointed out, in the flashback Hook has a red leather jacket…who else have we seen in red leather…that's right, Emma!“If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?” -- Lewis Carroll, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland & Through the Looking-Glass
May 9, 2013 at 11:14 pm #192595MysteryKat25ParticipantI like the way you’re thinking KFChimera! And it definitely looks like Hook is protecting Bae! *cheers*
It’s being more fully discussed over here: https://oncepodcast.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=92&t=3898&start=160 if anybody wants to join in, just wanted to mention it in the CS thread to give us some hope about positive Hook stuff that could lead to positive CaptainSwan stuff too if we’re right!
It’s the Sneak Peaks 222!! thread, starting on page 17 (not sure if I linked it exactly right or not).

Some of the stills from that collection are gaining people who are at least swooning over Hook (hey, it’s a step in the right direction, I’ll take what I can get) even though they’re staying true to their character / ship. That’s just with PICTURES!
RG here are some more cookies if you’re looking *passes them out*
If pictures alone (within the context of the show, not just pretty Colin pictures) can get Hook even a tiny bit of goodwill based on what the pictures suggest might happen with the Hook & Bae bonding!!! imagine what the actual show will give us! *fingers crossed*

May 9, 2013 at 11:48 pm #192614jasminegirl84ParticipantI am just gushing over these spoiler pics, girls. Thanks for sharing them. I definitely anticipate seeing more layers of Hook in this finale…Can’t wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *does victory dance*
And bring on all those fight scenes! I am getting all hot and bothered just thinking about Hook saving the day and fighting bad!!!!! He's my hero in the body of a villain…seriously he will be.
Keeper of: Hook's eyebrow action, Emma's eye-rolls, David's sarcasm, Snow's "She's kind of out of town" to Tiny, and Rumple's "Not telling."
May 9, 2013 at 11:51 pm #192616MysteryKat25ParticipantJasmine I agree 100%
Seriously at this point I’m trying to remain calm and lower my expectations back to 1 step above despair so that I will be happy with whatever we do get but…
I still want people to at least see a different side of him and be a little torn and see WHY the CS fans see something in him. I really think putting him in scenes with a kid (especially a kid that grows up to be someone most Hook-haters love) will go a long way with helping see him in a different light.
He most definitely is a hero in the body of a villain! He just has to be!
Now, where are those interviews we were promised?? *chomping at the bit*

Totally agree, Kat. In the show, we have seen hues of gray in everyone, the good AND the bad characters. Rumple has goodness in him, so does Regina. It is only time before we see some true goodness from Hook, whether it be in the past or present. I think it will be both.

Oooh, I forgot to share this with you guys. Remember the fight scene at Lake Nostos in The Queen of Hearts?
😆 😆 That’s awesome!

I had to re-read that a few times b/c I thought, I’m a hook lover and I kind of hate Neal. and then I realized, it was the opposite. 😆 but yeah, I hope this episode starts to change some people's minds about him. even just one or a few and I would be happy.
