Just had a look through the other threads- not really a lot of action going on in the site other than the SF & CS threads tbh o.O

Popping in to see how you all are! 🙂 I’m sorry I haven’t been around, but when 3×12 was aired I came here to freak out and saw what was going on in chat and it was literally the last straw for me 🙁 I’m spending all my time on tumblr now, and honestly I’m in a MUCH happier place!!
I saw that you said that it seems to have improved lately @rumplegoldfan but honestly when Neal dies next week or the week after this will not be a pleasant place to be. @captaineala ‘s back!! I understand about the chat. It can get nasty in there. I mostly ignore the chat nowadays, to help keep myself sane.
Regarding the death coming…I’ve always said depending on how it’s done and handled, the aftermath may not be so horrible. There’s a lot of Neal fans here, so I imagine maybe there might be some denial at first but eventual acceptance. Neal’s not my favorite character, mostly because of his treatment of Emma. But the weird thing about me, even the characters I generally hate, I still care whether the character has had proper character development. That was my whole issue with the Pinocchio re-boot. So, I’m hoping before Neal dies, he gets some decent character development and admit that jail wasn’t the right thing to do, for Emma. I seriously need to hear him say that jail was unnecessary and he could have found better ways to get Emma home..
I am still hoping for some kind of CaptainFire acknowledgement. I think that would also be a nice way to tidy everything up.
It would be interesting if over the past year Hook and Neal have been working together and have become close but Emma has managed to find closure to her relationship with Neal because of the stronger person she became being a mother to Henry. So if Neal dies it would actually be Hook who would be more emotionally distraught over his death than Emma because Hook will feel like he is losing a friend but will still have that fatherly feeling that he had toward him years ago. Whereas Emma has already “lost” Neal so many times and had to deal with his “death” that it wouldn’t impact HER as much but really more concern her with how Henry would be affected so he didn’t have to deal with it the last time. It would be consistant with how JMo has been saying that Neal will always be important because he is Henry’s birth father in interviews – the emphasis is suddenly on Emma’s focus on Neal’s relationship to Henry not on her confusion about the role he plays in her life.
By the way, did any of you look on Captain Eala’s Tumblr and see the thing about the wedding and how the spacing of all the characters in the goodbye scene between Emma and Hook at the end of 3A looks like a wedding – right down to the way Hook says his “Not a day will go by that I won’t think of you” and the way Emma looks at him and says “Good” looks like they are saying wedding vows??? I have no idea how to link to that but her Tumblr link is above – you seriously need to go look at it. It blew me away. After looking at that I think I am now totally convinced that CS are getting married. I know I want to see their relationship before that happens, but it is REALLY hard to argue against it when you see that knowing how A and E like to parallel things on the show in certain episodes.
Hey, @captaineala’s sort of back!!! Good to hear from you. I understand about tumblr. I’ve gone on a few CS pages and have left feeling pretty good afterward. I;ve only wandered onto the chat a couple of times and its been okay. And I have noticed that things have calmed down a bit–not so much Anti-Hook happening, even in the other threads, along with the acknowledgement that maybe Hook’s not such a bad guy and is working for the side of good. I hope there’s not going to be a backlash over the death if in fact it does turn out to be Neal. A and E are going to do whatever they want; it’s their show and engaging in bad behaviour when we’re all fans of the show is just stupid.
The long hiatus, along with the death spoiler has just burned everyone out. I’m a little disappointed by the seemingly lack of interest in this thread lately and I admit that I too am guilty of not contributing more, but I’m just not into writing long posts. How about we make a deal to each try to post something, even if its a ‘hello ‘. I’m looking a YOU lurkers!!! Come say Hi. I think it was @surayya who promised we wouldn’t bite (much) . I’m happy to take a page from @captainEala, @Surayya and @obisgirl (sorry if I’ve missed anyone) and try to post some nice pretties as I find them.
Looking forward to tonight’s episode. Really want some more explanations from Hook as to what’s going on; he’s not going to lie to his Swan.

I read that earlier they make a really good argument in the case of wedding..on one hand I’m thinking yeah we may get it but on the other hand I’m wondering if it isn’t Regina and Robin and then zelena interrupts it as Regina interrupted snowing. So when we get true loves kiss with CS to break the curse Regina and Robin are the ones reunited when it breaks. I’m thinking if Neal is the death then he would kinda sorta parallel Graham. Kinda like season 1.
Any how that’s what is floating around in my head right now that may change after tonight though.

I know what you mean. My concern is any perception anyone would have of fans being burned out on Captain Swan. Not true!!! Enthusiasm is contagious, and I really do have qualms with ABC’s lack of promotion concerning not just Captain Swan, but Once Upon A Time, in general. I don’t know if it’s A&E’s hatred for spoilers that inhibits that, but if all you see on a horizon is doom and gloom…..who is going be excited about getting on board with that? A&E need to lift the black clouds, and give fans something they can get excited about. I know the show’s had good ratings thus far, but the show’s just returned after a long hiatus. Something needs to feed some positive energy to keep the momentum going!
