ParticipantDo you guys know anything about this? There’s a scene that’s blocked in the finale, Emma and Hook are behind closed doors or something?.
No one really knows and no one has seen it. It was kept in secret., It’s probably too spoilery. I hope it’s a kiss ( or hug if they want ).. any would do! As long as it’s a CS<3 moment XD

ParticipantAll this wedding chatter this morning made me remember this old gifset:
already #marrieds: hook & emma in scenes that call back to traditional marriage ceremonies
- handfasting: “a wedding ritual in which the bride and groom’s hands are tied together.”
- sharing a drink from the same cup: “a tradition in which the couple drinks wine from a single glass.”
- going on a journey together: “two people go to into the wilderness for a long stretch of time and return as husband and wife.”
- exchanging vows: “the bride and groom recite their vows, usually in the presence of witnesses.”

ParticipantHey guys! Has any of you saw the whiteboard tweet? Any thoughts about it?
Yep- I was more interested in the old writing that had been erased lol
So I was watching the CS scene in 3×14 when Hook tells Emma he’s glad to hear she got her heart broken… I guessed I was looking at it from his perspective before, but…Emma was baiting him. And I don’t think it was because she wanted to know what he was doing in the year they were apart. I think his “whenever I’m with you…end up on some adventure” line kind of threw her. He didn’t say it in a ‘pleased’ tone. I think that threw her, scared her, that Hook might be backing off, or thinking perhaps his feelings for her have waned. Emma’s not going to ask outright – but when she retorts to that line with a ‘what were you doing during that year’ and calls him out on his response, I think she really wants to know – because in that moment, she wants to hear something to the effect of thinking of her everyday or trying to get back to her, regardless of the new curse. Of course, when Hook turns the tables and brings up Walsh, the walls go flying back up. She’s no longer in control of the conversation, and she’s being asked to divulge her own feelings on the topic. So she answers in a way that’s truthful, but also defensive. But when his response is ‘glad to hear it,’ she jumps right back into that place, that kind of exchange that is oh-so and only ‘CS’ – and she wants to know why he’s glad. Because he wants her to alleviate her fears and reassurance that he still loves her. Of course, he gives it, and she pulls an Emma – seriously girl! Get yer act together!! And ends the conversation. My point, though is, she still seeks out that reassurance. She’s getting to the place where she’s ready to give in – and she’s letting him know by seeking it out. This is pretty huge for Emma. Until now, she’s accepted his actions and words, telling her he loves her without coming out and saying it. But she’s never really sought them out like she does in that exchange.
Love it, very interesting take on the matter- it kind of reminds me of what I was thinking about last night – What on earth was going through Emma’s mind when the ladies are making rope & Hook is sullenly watching them & Emma looks up, glaringly watching him, sullenly observing her making rope. Her expression is ticked, but weary/worried at the same time (as far as I can tell).
My take is VERY similar to what you have just theorized above- he had sought her out, told her his feelings/tried to “bond”, in typical Emma fashion she brushed it off as ‘not serious’ & walked off. Then I think she was annoyed (at herself/him) because she realised he was actually ‘serious’ & she actually ‘wants’ him close to confide in etc. & not just in a ‘you’re useful to get my son back’ kind of way either- I think she really may have actually realised she honestly ‘felt something’/had feelings for him in return, which ticks her off as that’s not in her future (as far as she see’s it), but she cant help it either, they do have a ‘special’ connection- so she’s trapped between what she needs & wants (as Emma/product of TL) & what she feels she can never have or get (as the savior).
Like you say, she’s not the type to come right out & ask “I need to know if you are serious”. I think thats why we got our CS kiss- Hook proved he was a truly “good man” by saving her father, so she dropped her guard & kissed him (& was blown away by the depth of the ‘rightness’ of their kiss IMO 😉 ), which was only strengthened by the vents of Echo Cave & lead up to Emma’s “Good” when they parted ways in 3×11.
@emmajones is correct @obisgirl – no one has seen it, so no one knows- but I’m hoping for the same as @emmajones 😉March 29, 2014 at 8:03 pm #256637surayya
ParticipantHey guys, I came across this post (about 3×22): Things we know so far…
I take back what I said in the above post- what this person is not saying, but saying, I can definitely get on board with- that way we dont miss out on the courting, but we do have a cannon couple & may still have a TLK to look forward to, unless it’s already under our belts 😉 I would LOVE for this theory to be what plays out now 😀
I wonder if they’ll have Emma do an “If I died tomorrow, will I regret letting what Neal did prevent me from saying yes to Hook/Killian & giving loving another chance?” kind of moment, especially if it’s with Snow &/or David & she/he/they encourage her to “take a leap of faith”, have a “good moment” & see where it takes her- would make sense if she see’s Neal die again, again, but this time gets to see him actually be buried/gone for good this time.

ParticipantI am allll for Hook… line and sinker (grin)…but..
Trust nothing, expect nothing! Just enjoy individual hopes…while this plays out the way A&E want to play it out. We truly have no say! It’s never going to be what any of us want, totally.(or it couldn’t stay in the family hour! wink) And that is what the wonderful fanfic sites are for…creative story telling above and beyond.
The way A&E (mostly *A*) plays around for whatever reasons online, these blocked scenes could just as easily be Emma saying she is going back to New York after someone else has the guts to make a commitment or gets married or manages to stay alive in spite of the dreaded DEATH spoiler of January ! Or not, they could be emotional affirmations 🙂 Adam, as much as he must hate leaked photos, open shoots~ he also thrives on them to keep the interest alive. I’m betting they could block much more in outside settings if they realllly wanted to. Hugs with Hook and Emma and Emma with Walsh and blah blah. HA! All he tends to say is “it is not what it seems”, or “who said that” or “perhaps” or “stay tuned” or “believe only meeeee”. All the while he says basically, nothing, but gleefully teases the (fill in the blank) out of the fans who loyally follow him. Alll about the control. All part of the marketing/ego game. It’s a two way street…this love/hate twitter world. Much of it is purposeful. It is as misleading as it is encouraging. They edit out dozens of scenes in a season, even ones the network have exploited themselves in trailers. Scenes that never materialize. Regina and the Once Upon a Time Book for instance.
Now, from my only- one-woman’s-opinion take of the forest scene, Emma was the one bringing up his swashbuckling adventures. She was the one being snarky about where he was and what he was doing. Lying? “Excuse me” is exactly right, Emma.
Methinks she was trying to, in a not so honest, *projection* way, blame Hook for not finding her sooner, for not saving her sooner, so she could have avoided the whole embarrassing Walsh episode. Blame him for her getting so comfortable in her new faked life. So when he stood his ground and passed it right back at her without getting as angry as he had a right to be(yessss) she tried to go back to the old *wound him first* routine. *You like seeing me have my heart broken?* (she didn’t seem so heart broken when she was back at her apartment after running out on the proposal.)
He wisely wasn’t buying that… force fed BALONEY. And he knew she wouldn’t take it the wrong way, even though he made that disclaimer…
This isn’t Hook’s fault. He knows it, she knows it, and she now knows HE knows it. (grin) Hook is not afraid to (patiently but quite honestly) point that out, Fair Lady. There are two real hearts involved. Recognize it, Ms. Swan. Yours is just one of them.
CUE the music, indeed!!
Go Hook!!!
One thing is sure, in the season finale they have to present some kind of dramatic catch to keep fans interest alive over the summer. In regards to CS fans, that particular relationship struggle tends to take the hiatus hits. They should…tread carefully there. Timing is everything! And it is about dayammm time for Emma to get with the program .

I LOVE IT!! I think Emma does a lot of reshaping events in her head – “I loved Walsh so yeah I was considering it”…of course, I ended up believing the crazy pirate, and had no intention of telling Walsh the truth and asking him to follow when he showed up that night because she didn’t want him getting involved…and like you said, didn’t seem all that upset when she got back to the apt after the proposal. In fact, Henry almost had to encourage her to even entertain the idea.
I think one of the best things about them is that they know and understand each other’s crap…and they’re willing to put up with it – to an extent. They’re also not afraid to get up in each other’s face. Sure, they both regress a little when stressed – that’s normal, to go back to your comfort zone. But they’re pulling themselves, and each other, out of it. Which fits in with your ideas…Emma will let herself feel upset by the year she ‘lost,’ if you will, by getting angry, and at Hook. And mask it by accusing him of lying to her.
At this point, we are starting to see a new Emma slowly emerging. After her experiences finding Henry and her parents, and then being given positive memories of raising Henry, she’s shown that she’s able to cope better than S1 Emma would have. She can still toss those walls up in a moment, can still use words to wound, but she does it far less – and she recovers far more quickly. Her experience with Neal, and subsequently feeling that she had to give up Henry, paralyzed her for over a DECADE…but as she merges the real memories with the ‘what could have beens,’ she really seems to have softened, and grown stronger – she isn’t constantly on survival mode, like she was even at the end of 3A. She can do her part in getting the WW, but she also allows herself moments (taking Daddy Charming’s advice!), like confronting Hook – not because she thinks he has information pertinent to their search, but because she wants to know. For herself.

Bo-Peeps, I dont really know what is going down in tweeter verse, as I’ve decided to not go there (unless I wish to ask a question or congratulate cast or crew on a show well done), so I dont know what is being said there- it’s usually way over the top & full of hate there though.
But I think we all realize here, that what we want to have happen & what may actually happen are 2 different things (although we’ve been pretty darn spot on about 90% of the stuff that has happened so far 😉 )
I think in all honesty we are probably ALL correct as far as what Emma was thinking & doing during that scene. What we take away from it (as the haters so clearly indicate), is our own personal perspectives on what we see play out. We can never really 100% know for sure what is going through someone’s mind, unless it is confirmed for us by the actor/tress, writer/s, Adam &/or Eddy 😉 So all we ever do is speculate- even if our speculations do prove to be spot on 9 times out of 10 😉
I agree that Adam in particular needs to be VERY careful doing what he’s doing, playing around with fans like he is (even if I understand why he’s doing it)- many, many people have lost interest in spoilers & some even joy in the show after the whole missing hug & Regina/book scene. Disappointing fans like that is playing with fire & we all know fire can burn you back sometimes! 😉
