That about made me cry.
I will have to watch when I can, maybe Thursday. But I feel very relieved, the death has come and passed. ’cause now, we can stop all the speculating about who it is already.
I sincerely am sorry to all the Neal fans out there.
I do feel that at least for Emma, it will be easier for her to get over this because this isn’t the first time Neal’s “died.” And he said that he wanted her to find Tallahassee again and no doubt, Emma will probably take that advice to heart and be more open now to finding love again.
I promise I don’t mean this the way it’s going to sound but . . . I’m so glad that’s over. The whole “spoiler of doom” was getting so painful to deal with. I honestly don’t mean it in a way to cause pain to any of the SF shippers because I would be MISERABLE right now if Hook had died, but I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders.
I think they way they did it was weird – as in abrupt. Like, no Neal at all then suddenly he’s back and then he dies. I did love that we got our CaptainFire moment (honestly, that has meant more to me than ANY CS moment so far – it was a DADDY KILLIAN moment and it killed me!!). I had actually wondered if Emma was going to have to kill him based on the promo but not because of they way it ended up. I will have to think about this a bit – they way they did it is growing on me (I know the SF shippers won’t like that and I don’t blame them). It wouldn’t have been my first choice but it gave Emma complete control over how her relationship with Neal ended and they BOTH agreed on how it had to end – and even Gold was there for it. And at the end of the day Emma knew it needed to be done to protect Henry and everyone else. I think it was weak on the whole “It’s my turn to sacrifice this time, Papa” thing, though” like, way too abrupt for it to even feel like a sacrifice because I hardly had anytime to even process what had been done yet.
But I do think they set it up nicely for Hook to take over as the father figure in Henry’s life. Which will be interesting once Henry gets his memories back and realizes his dad died and was buried without his knowledge. But now Hook can “raise” Henry being confortable with the fact that he and Bae “made up” before he died.
OMG!!!!! One of the best eps this half of the season so far!!!!! & Can I just take a moment to say to everyone here- take a bow folks, we called a butt tone of events mths ago (although we were all a little off on the Neal=Flying monkey thing lol) & I’m not talking about the death here- just realized, how what I said could be taken! I do feel very bad of all the SF fans atm, if I was in their place right now- I’d be heartbroken as well.
Awww! Emma is trying to find a way to get Hook and Belle to “make up” by having Hook stay and protect Belle.
I know right!!!! & Now the “he didnt even say sorry” crud, can STOP. He said “sorry” & stayed back to protect her to make up for it- it’d done & dusted (& THANK YOU A&E!!!!!)

It was such a tender moment! Loved it- it is so bitter sweet to get a lot of the stuff we’ve wanted to be resolved or touched on for a whole season now, but I’m so glad they did.
I do think the way it was handled was well done for the most part (between he & Emma with Rumple looking on), but was abrupt & out of the blue, which was sad. I did LOVE the CaptainFire moment though- there was so many awesome scenes in this episode (which is why I love it- not because of the death- so please dont take me the wrong way, any SF/NF fans reading this- I feel for you!).
I’m sooooo revealed the death is over with now & hopefully we can all stop walking on egg shells now.
Oh & anybody else LOVE the OQ stuff- cant wait to find out how it all goes down- how our main leads al have other halfs & Henry is about to gain a brother & another aunt or uncle (that sounds kinda weird lol)
Once again- sorry to all the SF/NF fans, thoughts, hugs cookies to those that are reading this & need it 🙂
