I wrote a new meta, this one relating to the wedding spoiler.

I agree for the most part, but what I mean by dating (& I actually see Snow & Charming/ Rumple & Belle in the same way as well)- is actually being an “official” couple for a number of episodes, BEFORE they decide to tie the knot 😉

I dont want to see them decide, oh lets give a relationship a shot- lets get married type thing- that is rushing into things IMO, I want them to work together as a official/cannon couple 1st.

You know what helps that? Most of the stuff we say isn’t fanon it’s canon they can say were interpreting what we see but i mean what we’ve seen are signs that Emma & Killian are being brought closer & closer together and they end up close to each other isn’t that just seeing the story for what it was? There was an email from a CS shipper that kind of made us look like know it alls, they said that CSers have been more in point with predicting the show. I’d say that it isn’t so much that we’re better at predicting it’s just that when it comes to good things coming for Hook & Emma a lot of non CSers are not especially open to those things happeneing so they don’t predict them. I know that the argument against us is that we would get stuff wrong if Hook were to so something bad. The thing is though the reason I think he wouldn’t willingly do something negative in the future is because of the character development that Hook has gone through that not everyone is willing to accept. At this point for Hook to go all S2 Hook & team up with the evil side again would be so far OOC for me it just wouldn’t make sense in the slightest unless there was an alternate explanation.

Agreed- it would be jumping the shark character wise IMO.

The fun of Hook & Emma is the slow burn. It doesn’t need to go any faster than it is, in my opinion. In fact, it will be interesting to see how he handles Neal’s death the more we learn what exactly he knows about everything that happened in the last year, and in next week’s episode. I’m guessing he doesn’t take it well, and perhaps that is why he’s charged with Henry-duty. It’d be pretty tough for me to believe Hook would be willing to stay away from Emma at such a dangerous time…but having the responsibility of taking care of Bae’s son just might be equally important to him now, given CaptainFire’s discussion in the hospital. Which, frankly, I love.

so are there other chats around?  I like to check this one out for the spoilers and what not – as i dont have too much time to search myself.  Every time i go its the same old thing.  Same thing today – I was actually joking when i arrived they were Hook bashing and I said the chat needs a new hobby… well you thought what i said.  I was told to scroll up… they were going so fast it was already in the ‘old messages’ and i was called spiteful?  whats wrong with them there?  Their defense was that they just got to Hook and were going through each of the characters.  I’m not looking to bash any characters and list all their bad habits, weak moments, wrong doings… even the characters i dont ship.  our chat seems to have an attitude running through it… anyone know of another to try?

hmmm, very interesting @Killian Jones – so they are saying the sleeping curse Regina made on the hair pin, will come into play, but could be used for making a ‘different’ kind of curse?

Chat can be fun. They went through I think literally every character and decided Roland and Pongo are the only 2 who haven’t committed a crime of some kind. Friday Night Knitting is way more entertaining than it sounds! It can get feisty though. Hence the need to come here and vent like mad! I have been guilty of the post-it too! 🙂

@jenven, do you have a tumblr account? There’s a CS chat there. I don’t think I’ve popped in more than once or twice, though – @Obisgirl can give you more info on that one.

Such a good idea and so simple.  i keep saying i wont go there and I do and I say i wont respond and I do.    🙁       I’m so trying that – I have enough stress and aggravation without adding more over fictional characters and crazy people.  lol

I will respond about Neal under spoiler code, so as to not upset any still emotional NF/SF fans who are lurking in here, so they dont ‘have’ to see it-

I understand your feelings on the points you brought up on your reaction to watching @obisgirl – I really think A&E had this planed, as they said, from the beginning- because when you look back on all the stuff we had a problem with, with Neal, it’s all stuff that had him ‘following in Rumples footsteps’ (cowardly, hypocritical, poor judgment, no regard for others with the consequences of his actions etc.). It’s all the stuff we noted, even though it was subtle at 1st (start of S2), but grew more pronounced as season 3 progressed. So yes, the writing was very much on the wall as to where it could lead (Neal turning to dark magic), which I believed I & a number of others called way back in S2, I seem to recall some even thought he’d die as a result of it as well.
