Lovely eye candy banquet, Surayya! Many thanks. Good lunch break yummies (grin)

Regarding some other posters comments and feelings about Hook. Essentially, it is their choice and shows their own character when they continually try to denigrate. It has nothing to do with anyone else’s good feelings, just their own negativity. When killjoys relentlessly harp on the same things over and over, it often means they are threatened or insecure of their own joy .

When it has been established that a poster has certain feelings about a character (and this is ANY character) and others habitually and  maliciously bait/pester that poster without just respectfully co-existing, that behavior is self-indulgent, immature clap trap, and if not ignored, should be pitied.

Basically, and in particular to OUAT, if someone doesn’t like Hook….so what?

Embrace your own joy 🙂 It is very powerful.

So True – Bo Beeps.   I often felt the same thing – they are jealous.  He is a fictional character so I dont know of what… but hey that’s their problem I guess.

Just read obisgirl’s initial reations to Neal’s death and she actually brings up a good point.

I’ve seen complaints that Neal was very out of character in Quiet Minds, it was a character assassination, etc, but actually we have seen Neal engage in that type of behaviour before, the only difference this time is that it didn’t pay off for him.

In Quite a Common Fairy, Neal used little Roland as bait for the shadow so he could hitch a ride to Neverland where Emma and Henry were. Neal used magic despite being so adverse to it before, it was played as a desperate times equal desperate measures. Now if it weren’t for Mulan, chances are Roland could’ve ended up saying hello to Peter Pan. It was an incredibly risky move on Neal’s part to use Roland as bait. Something could’ve gone wrong, Roland could’ve been taken, but “to hell with the cost” if it got Neal to Emma and Henry, right?

Now in Quiet Minds, once again Neal finds himself in a different realm to Emma and Henry. The only way he can think to get back to them is to resurrect Rumple, just like the only way to get to Neverland was to use Roland as bait. Again Neal dabbles in magic despite not being pro-magic. It’s an incredibly risky move, especially as the WW wants Rumple back for nefarious purposes and even Belle advises against it. However Neal thinks Rumple is the fastest and perhaps only way to realm jump, so “to hell with the cost” if it got Neal to Emma and Henry, right? Only this time it blows up in Neal’s face and it costs him his life.

The cruel irony of Neal’s impatience to find another way and have to wait longer to see his son is that now, Neal will never get to see Henry again.

All magic comes with a price!
