Honestly? I think there’s a good likelihood we might get one or the other! I know popular thought is that it’ll happen closer to the end of the season, but I think if it’s not True Love’s Kiss or an I Love You, then something will happen that’s pretty huge. I mean, seriously, look at that body language in the sneak peek. Especially Emma’s. Hands in her back pockets, hips all outta control…girl is sending some serious signals there. And that’s in addition to the fact that she’s there asking Hook to watch over her son. We got that in a sneak peek!

@surayya, thanks for letting me know that I’m not the only one having probs. I still have an active chat on my tablet but its not working on my laptop.Doubt the I love you from Emma- way to soon IMO- unless she is forced into it by circumstance… & even then I’m not sure she’s had enough time to get over everything else that’s happened yet.
TLK, again I cant see it being a’natural’ progression of the story from where we’ve left off since curse 2.0 IMO. Emma has no intention of getting into a relationship atm (even A&E have stated this recently)- she feels that isnt something she as savior can have (No wonder she feels NY would be a better option than Henry getting his memories back & then deciding- it’s probably the only place she thinks she maybe able to have that eventually). So I cant see her just kissing him for the sake of it, it’d have to be for some very emotional reason (like last time)- maybe IF she finds out what he gave up to come rescue her, then maybe there will be a TLK, but at this stage it’s probably more likely she’ll be over whelmed & back off again- that seems to be the holding pattern she’s locked into when it comes to Killian atm lol 😉 :p
I would love to get a hug or kiss though! So I really do hope I’m wrong 😉

I do feel like TLK would be too soon and probably better left for the season finale, but an ‘I love you’ from Emma to Killian, would be huge relationship development. And we already know how our favorite pirate feels about her, so an ‘I love you’ would excellent confirmation that the feelings aren’t one-sided. It’s a definitive, yes, Emma has feelings for him. And like with their first kiss, it had more meaning because Emma was the one who initiated it. I feel like the ‘I love you’ will work the same way.
Haha, ok, so maybe not TLK per se next episode, but that’s why I included ‘or something that’s pretty huge’! In short, I think something will happen that will actually cause Emma to look at her relationship with Hook in the face, consciously and with clarity. I do think she’s almost there. She can be…well, Emma, but she’s shown a lot of progress already this half of the season. And this is without knowing exactly what happened in the lost year. As we’ve said, Emma already knows something big happened to Hook, because he’s refusing to tell her where he was and what he was doing. Emma has asked him about this twice – she really wants/needs to know. The ‘old’ Emma would realize the reason he’s keeping it from her is due, in some way, to the way he feels about her. And the ‘old’ Emma would’ve dropped it and run…but she’s not. She knows full well why Hook isn’t telling her about that year – and yet she’s still accepting him into her life, into her inner circle, and she’s trusting him with what is most precious to her.
And as has been mentioned before, Emma’s never really had to deal with her Storybrooke life without Hook since meeting him. The possibility of losing him WILL come up in the next episode. She “intends” to move to New York after this current villian is taken care of. She doesn’t seem to be thinking this idea through, however. She’s going to have to realize that means only with Henry, and without her family…which includes Hook. And…because he’s Hook, and has a ‘special’ relationship with the floor…and an affinity with getting his hiney kicked…there’s a good chance Emma will have to face the very real possibility of losing Hook in a much more…permanent manner. Again, this would have caused the ‘old’ Emma to run for the hills, but the ‘new’ Emma just might be strong enough to look at that situation and realize she has more to gain by letting herself love him back and risk losing him, than not letting herself love him at all.
Hopefully, I have not put too much faith in our girl…but I think she can do it. 🙂
