yes it would be gut-wrenching if Henry does turn out to be a product of ‘true love’, but something inside me screams for me to refuse this claim until proven true 😆
in the meantime over summer (although winter for me hehe) it may feel a bit like this
but we should almost be used to this from the whole of season 2 😆

What an episode….but I’ll spoiler tag in case anyone hasn’t seen yet. I agree with what AllthatGlitters wrote more or less, and MysteryKat, I wouldn’t worry about Henry.
Henry can't be special because of true love as there have been other true love babies in FTL, so if Henry is special in terms of his destiny, my guess would be the prophecy. So whatever we learn is likely tied to Rumpel, not to true love. I think Rumpel knows quite a bit about that Shadow thing and NL.
As for Hook and Emma–many of us speculated that they'd be forming a new alliance, that he would turn over a new leaf and that has happened! They have a common goal and he is no longer focused on revenge. Her words did strike a chord in him. Bae might be a barrier but only if that's what the writers choose to do. It's not as clear as if they'd written Bae as dying (which I don't want them to do), but this is as far as my attempt at playing Seer could get me. Oh, and Charming did totally punch Hook because of what he said to Snow, and it was out of his system.

Sorry I’m late the party, gals. Had a lot of work to do, but just watched the eppy and boy, am I happy and filled with all sorts of feels, sad, happy, excited, wary.
I don't think Henry is as simple as the product of true love. I think there is a lot more to him than meets the eye, just like Emma. Emma may be the product of true love, but Henry may be special because he is the product of the product of true love *mouthful*. So, he's special by association.
I am so glad that Hook is redeeming himself and that he finally saw something beyond revenge and is heading in the direction of making peace with his past. He clearly saw Henry as a new Bae, and LOVE, the reaction on his face when he learns that Neal is Henry's father. I am sure Hook is having all sorts of mixed feelings on that.
Incredible Bae/Hook moments. They were really beautiful and heartfelt. I also like when Hook comments on how raising Bae is a way to carry on Milah's intentions of getting Bae back.
Yes, there will be many Swanfire moments, and I too, am so happy that Emma acknowledges that they understand each other. I would love to see a protective Daddy Charming in the mix, which is very likely. I cried when Emma called her parents Mom and Dad.
Neal is definitely not dying. He will be alive and I am thinking that CS might not be completely in full motion, but there will be some more attraction and connections. I think they will be right on the cusp of a relationship when BOOM! Neal comes back.
Can't wait to see everyone in Neverland!!!!!!!!!! GAHHHHHHHHHHHH HOOOOOOOOOOOK!

Such an awesome, Hook-filled ep (and we’ve been needing one!)
I feel like the episode had a little bit for almost everyone and tons of shipping stuff (I swear Emma had moments with just about everybody lol).
I’m about to rewatch (first ep I’ve immediately felt the need to do that with pretty much since Tallahassee!) now that I’ve let my brain have a little time to de-fry. Gonna try and take some notes for points of interest. May go back through the season and figure out all the moments I want so that if I do get around to fanfic / vids I’ll have it all handy.
Can’t believe the season’s already over and we have to wait so long for season 3! SO MANY FEELINGS right now on this ep!
As for your comment about the product of the product of true love I definitely think that could have something to do with it. He's got lots of very powerful magic in his blood that's for sure. Perhaps we haven't seen the completed effects of the “undoing” of Rumple because of Henry? He feels pretty down right now but I feel like what's happening to Neverland could have something to ultimately do with Rumple and that Henry is essentially leading him to that point where something happens. Not sure though.
The product of the product of true love is definitely a mouthful! Makes me think of Rory on Doctor Who being the “companion's companion.” Either way I'd prefer that it be way more to it than just the product of true love as there would have been no point whatsoever to leading us down the CaptainSwan path AT ALL. Which…they totally led us to, hinted at, and certainly liked the sound of it at PaleyFest.
We can probably stop bothering with the spoiler tags soon, I’d hope that most wouldn’t stop by til they’ve seen the finale but definitely don’t want to spoil anyone!
Gonna go rewatch / take notes now and then scour tumblr for good gifs to retreat to a happy place. So many feelings!

Right there with ya, sister! I have so many intense feels right now that I won’t be able to go back to bed without writing something out.I might have to cash in on my feels and write some one-shots of what I imagine will happen on the ship on their way to NL. I haven’t written in quite some time, and for the first time, I feel the true writer’s urge to write!
I might have to vid something too…yikes. We’ll both be busy for a while 😀

Wow- just wow! What a great Hook filled ep! 😀 I’m so happy for that! 😀 😀 😀 I just finished my 2nd watch of it & LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Hook stuff & CS scenes 🙂
Agree this ep has shown more hope for CS (not as much as the beanstalk stuff to be sure, but hope none the less).
Ohhhh the feels- Will go through step by step:
Loved Hook finding out who Bae is & not even 'truly' considering turning him in when he did so – we so called that 😀 😉 😎 He'd make an AWESOME daddy! 😀
Charming socking Hook, was for Hook knocking him out in the station lol 😆 😕 So I can forgive Charming for that one 😉
Hook so like's kids- he was very observant & feeling for Henry when Regina told him she would'nt allow him to be alone & Killian also expected to be treated poorly – he had his clipped ' bad guy pirate' voice on the whole time & kept it up while with Charming- he was almost surly when he told Charming he was doing it for himself, I think those words tasted a little bitter to his tongue & he definitely expected to be treated as bad guy rather than an ally.So glad they included Our 1st real CS moment since Tallahassee:
Emma “You & I, we understand each other. Look out for yourself & you'll never get hurt, right?”
Hook “Worked quite well for me”

Poor Hook sucker punched ….again.(I so need to make a Hook vid using tubthumping by chumbawamba for all his knock outs lol 😉 )I could have shouted at young Bae when he accused Hook of being as responsible of killing Milah as Rumple was….NOT EVEN! Man, what an unfair thing to say! Backing up to the beginning of the scene now….
Killian (because he was talking to Bae in his Killian voice, after shouting at Smee in his Hook voice) will make an Awesome father, he handled an angry Bae very well considering he has no children of his own- concern, level headed, calm reason & the man offered to take in the child of his dead lover, out of the kindness of his own heart, as a way of honoring her & fulfilling her greatest desire- for the 3 of them to be a family, when she was no longer around for him to 'have' to abide by her wishes (this proves he has a good heart & is a hero in a villains body to me). Then Bea goes for the low blow…. 😥
Hook “We can live, the life that Milah wanted for us, as a family”
Bae “No! Stay back! You used me, you wanted to kill my father!”
Hook “Yes, I did” Why is it the little things- that mean the most- get over looked the most!
Bae “You tore apart my family- As sure as if you ripped her heart out yourself” Shoves Hook- Hook doesn't react to it, he instead tries to plea with Bae.
Hook “Bae don't”
Bea “Take me back to my real family- The Darlings”
Hook “I… Can't- It's not possible to leave Neverland. But you can stay here, under my protection”
Bae “I'd rather fend for myself, than be with you. I want off this ship, Pirate”
Pan around to Hook's shocked, agonized face 🙁 He didn't have to offer Bae anything, in fact it was stupid for him to put his own life in danger by protecting Bae at all, he put himself out there & got sucker punched (I get the feeling this will be Hook/Killian's theme- every time he did the right thing for others, he got the short end of the stick- so he only does right by himself now). Killian could have pointed out Milah came to him to get away from Rumple- he didn't, he was still trying to spare Bae, even as Bae was telling him he was as guilty as Rumple…. so many Hook/Killian feels 😀 🙂 😎 🙂 I get Bae was (rightly) still raw & angry at his own father for abandoning him etc, but Hook paid the price for Rumple's betrayal of his son 🙁Hook voice back as he tries again to convince Bae to stay & be a family- I think at this point Hook really would have become Killian again if Bae hadn't let his own anger at his father, mother & Hook etc cloud his judgment of Killian as he'd come to know him.
Hook “You good to go I see”
Bae “Drop me off anywhere”
Hook “You really think you can survive on your own?
Bae “I've never been given the joice”
Hook (in imploring Killian tone) “Well you have one know”

Hook (with pained expression on his face & emotional Hook tone back) “Thank you; For reminding me what I'm all about” (hard, bad a$$ Hook tone) “Killing your father!”
Bae (as Peter & the lost boys climb aboard & take him)”You're not letting me go”
Hook “How would that help me”
Bae “You hated my father so much! You didn't even realize you are just like him!”
Hook “You have the boy, he will be pleased!?” (Can't help but look over the starboard side to see Bae glaring at him), turns away with shocked, hurt, disappointed & disproving expression, then scratches out the marks he made in an act of kindness towards Bae. Transitions to present day & those same marks remind him of what he is capable of & what he really wants (love & family).Loved Emma's & Snow's mono “Hook”
& Emma's “I thought you didn't care about anyone but yourself?” & Hook's “Maybe I just needed reminding that I could” & with 0 hesitation he offers his services & ship to go find/save Henry, as well as puts aside his sworn vengeance on Rumple FOR Emma & Henry, he even doesn't rise to Rumple's baited line of the JR- again none of these people are his own flash & blood or family- he has no binding reason to help any of them- aside from kindness, honor & his 'understanding' & *cough* 'attraction to' *cough* Emma 😉 .
I just hope this time, he isn't knocked up the back side the head for it …. again.
Cue EPIC ending scene!
And now we have 3-4mths to wait until next season- it seems so far away! I cant wait for CC & the start of S3 teasers. I will pour over Once news for S3 CS stuff- I REALLY hope they grow closer this coming season. They have set up a beautiful beginning for a honest, true CS friendship, which I REALLY hope they lead to romance & Emma choosing the one person, who unlike any of them, has no reason to help- other than it being the right thing to do for HER (he is willing to change if he has a reason to do so)- kind of what she did by staying in SB FOR Henry 🙂 Another very nice CS parallel right there – Thank you A&E!
I too just don’t see Henry being the product of true love or SF as being “True Love” in the same sense as Snowing (or True fairy tale style true love anyway). Did they love each other deeply- of course, Neal is Emma’s 1st love & the father of her son- but there is no way Neal could have walked away from Emma like he did if it was TL- true love is meant to bind them together so they cant be without each other- Neal shouldn’t have been able to walk away & move on enough from his True Love, to fall in LOVE with another person (ie. Not even Snow was able to do leave & stay away, nor was Charming, even when George had Snow tell him she didn’t love him- now that is what TL is by definition according to the show- It’s been shoved down our throats time & again ie Belle/Rumple, Emma/Henry, Regina/Daniel, Regina/Henry- Emma did the same thing, she could have just left, but she stayed for Henry, she could have left without Henry, but she stayed anyway- she could have accepted his death & left, but again she couldn’t, she had to stay- as Snow said, Doing the right thing is oftentimes taking the hard path, instead of the easy & this should hold true to all the characters not just the Charming’s- I will be disappointed if they go there with SF when they’ve been shown to be the opposite of TL).

Yeah- I loved that bit too. Honestly who wouldn’t have been touched by those scenes. I got very protective of poor Hook/Killian this episode- he did an awesome job of loss, shock, betrayal, hope, anger, acceptance, tenderness, sadness & repentance.

It has to be there for a reason (like the hints that Henry was special which got slipped in early in both S1 & again in S2- then bam! we find out he's been hunted for the last 300 odd yrs 😯 😮 ).
They always have a reason for doing what they do & nothing gets on screen by mistake- they just cant be so cruel as to tease us with CS hope & all these parallels when it’s all for nothing- I cant believe they’ed do that to us CS fans (they said out right, right off the bat that Tamara was NOT a FTL character- so I’d hope they’d do the same for us if they hadn’t planned on a CS plot of any form). So until either-one says otherwise, CS is slowly blossoming- take it long & slow, drag it through plenty of Drama of past love & temptation to do the easy thing, so it comes out the stronger for it & I’ll be one very happy CS Oncer- I’m in for the long haul if it’s end game & done right 😉
