You have to listen to this song!!

I have no idea how to embed songs and my ipad doesn’t let me link but it’s called:

    Redeemed by Big Daddy Weave

I used to think of it as Rumple’s song but after this last episode I swear it could be Killian’s theme song!  It even talks about how he has a new name and is going home.

Gah!!  It’s amazing!  I can’t listen to it without thinking of Killian now.  I listened to it on repeat all the way home from taking my son to school.

    Please listen to it.

And if anyone is talented with videos – make a CS video to it!!

    Best part of the song:

“Because I don’t have to be the old man inside of me, ’cause his day is long dead and gone.  Because I’ve got a new name, a new life, I’m not the same.  And a HOPE that will carry me HOME.  I am redeemed, you set me free.”

I know right?! I was shocked to hear people even have a problem with it at all. I have 3 brothers & they all cheated at games as kids- I was forever calling them out at it & they thought it was great fun trying to pull the wool over us (my sister & I) lol. I dont get why people have a problem with Hook & dice, but Charming is ok to take a 12yr old driving for the 1st time through the center of town?! Double standards much!

Seriously? They are having a problem with it? nitpicking much? Oh if that’s the case then I can call some character out using a cute innocent kid as bait … this is just annoying 🙁

Ignore the dice game crapola! 🙂

Those who are righteously dwelling on that are incapable of seeing beyond their noses to the symbolism of the entire episode.

This episode was overflowing in symbolic battles with personal demons.

Cheating at dice and driving are useful skills and all, but I’d like to know who you all think Henry would go to for advice on girls, David or Killian? I personally can’t decide between the two.

Wow, getting mad over dice.  The haters are going to hate no matter what.  but this is ridiculous.

I’ve always been partial to Henry asking Killian about girl advice.  I don’t know why.  I’d really like to see how Killian would react.

If I was a young boy I think I would ask Killian hands down 🙂

Killian for a gazillion different reasons.  Not that I don’t think Charming would give good advice but going to Grandpa for girl advice just seems strange and I think Charming would end up having difficulty figuring out more modern dating practices.

As for Killy, he’s becoming Henry’s father figure but he’s not his actual father so that is a comfortable person to go to.  Trust me, I’m a stepmom – I always get the girl questions.  Plus he isn’t too squeaky clean – he comes from a time when men where gentleman and courted a lady but he was still a pirate so he knows what’s what and Henry can be honest with him without getting preached at.  Plus Killian has an incredible depth of unwavering faithfulness when it comes to the women he loves so I think he would give really GOOD advice, he’s not going to tell him to screw around (not that Charming would either).  He’s been hurt a lot so he can relate when a girl breaks Henry’s heart and help him through that.

Plus he can teach Henry to smoulder.

On another forum I frequent someone wondered if Smee is Zelena’s spy/agent.

I like this idea and think it might be a possibility. Hook even said Smee was and is still probably a rat! But he still exhibits daily loyalty to his Captain.

Zelena, on the one hand, seems to know every freaking thing, yet she and her monkey boys are still rather scarce while people walk around having all kinds of conversations. Sometimes the *security* and fear seems  be so selective. I mean, there are the Charmings, and Emma having a conversation about who is going to watch Henry ~after he gets back from the store…with who? Hook was already at the docks! And would Mayor Mills be taking a child to the store during her day job? heh

Blib blib blib. I love this show!!!

I’m really enjoying your comments, MysteryKat and as always~ KJ’s level headedness, ~obisgirl’s lovely links and never ending positive spirit ~surayya’s super upbeat visuals…everyone really. Just a great little corner of fandom here. Thanks to all of you.

About chat, I don’t venture there, or chat anywhere anymore because I tend to be non-eggshell tip-toeing and would most likely be banned within five sentences (grin). The mods from what I have seen of the chat  go flitting by the page practice a very even handed approach even though they must want to pull their hair out daily 🙂

Other threads? Other than the specifically *ship* oriented ones, they are all fair game. “Strength and honor”, oh, CS shippers…”what we do in life echoes in…”oh wait, that was another message board in another life. (wink)

its all in good fun… as long as Henry doesnt start hustling the local kids I dont see any harm.  All my cousins my age are all boys and they too cheated.  we are all in our late 30s now and its STILL one of the family jokes.  Who embezzled, who cheated, who was the con man… etc

We just have to ignore them… come on – they found fault with Hook for NOT sleeping with a Hooker ( he he – not a Hooker like us though ).  If someone can find a downside with not sleeping with a prostitute then there is just no use debating – they have NO logic or rational – or common sense.  lol – so I guess Hook can bring Henry to the local brothel and get him his first woman and that would be ok – as long as there is no gambling in that establishment.

Hahaha oh man now I want to see Hook giving Henry ‘girl advice’!  No I want to see Henry going to both of them at the same time – hi awkward!
