The thing is, she stil has her magic and with her superpower, should have known right away Killian was being honest with her.
He was pretty adamant he wasn’t lying. It’s been a while since he raised his voice above that sexy husky whisper he’s been doing lately. All he has to do it get Emma to look at him and ask her directly if he’s lying, that’s worked so far. She pretty much believes him when he does that.

Maybe she’s not mad at him as we think, or as the Charmings are. Maybe that comment of Emma’s more said “If I’m going to trust you, next time, you’d better say something”.
On a different note: Interesting insight on the promo’s analysis, and what may have happened to Killian. I think this theory is a strong one.

Snowing teaming up against Hook definitely did not help. I feel fairly certain if they hadn’t added their two cents Emma would or maybe would have allowed Killian to explain himself further.

I think there’s still trust but remember Emma’s been lied to before and her defenses are still up.
she knew Hook was hiding something from her before about what happened to him in the lost year and she also knew something was bothering him at the diner but he wouldn’t tell her so now she knows that something happened with Zelena her comes up with the wrong conclusions because she’s thinking of the worst case scenario – someone she trusts maybe working for the bad guy.

Yeah, if she was really angry with him she would have called him Hook for sure. I think Emma regretted her off the cuff reaction as soon as she said it. Look at her face when the Charmings are there, deep down she know she can trust him. Can’t remember whose tumblr I read it on but it basically said that when stressed or traumatized people tent to lash out at the ones who are the closest to them because they know that not matter what, those people will ultimately be there for them. Killian is Emma’s person. She knows this, WE know this, but I don’t think Killian does. My poor baby looked absolutely heart-broken.

I mean, if it is the case I get what they are trying to show but I think it kind of cheapens the sentimental value of the necklace. I think the necklace should only have held the significance of Emma’s ability to trust prior to Neal giving it back to her before he died. Neal was still a very special and important person to Emma, and to Henry, and I honestly like the idea of having Emma wear the necklace all the time – especially considering everything the poor guy went through to save his family. I don’t know, it just seems in poor taste to turn it into a statement item of Emma’s current level of trust.
It would be like having Killian choose roll up his sleeve to show off his Milah tattoo when he is feeling especially angsty. We know the tattoo is there, we know WHY it is there, we know Milah was special and important to him – it’s sentimental and just a part of who he is, leave it alone. I wouldn’t want to see an episode where he decides to have it removed but then gets in a fight with Emma, heads to local SB tattoo shop and gets it redone so we GET that he is feeling angsty . .
I am not really sure how I feel either. Swanfire fans are probably going to hate me for saying this but after she told Killian she was tired of living in the past I was okay with her no longer wearing the necklace. I expected it to forever be a token/reminder of someone she will always love but not something she wanted (or needed) to have a daily reminder of anymore. So my assumption was that she was not wearing it after that episode. I suppose it could have been hidden under her shirt though, which I also would be okay with. Now in the last episode it was very clear she was wearing it at the end. If she wore it as a gesture since they WERE at Neal’s grave then I would be okay with it. If she is now going back to wearing it because she can’t trust Killian anymore and she is reverting then I agree that it cheapens the symbolism of it because it will be back off again in a couple of days. Basically I feel that it needs to either be always on or always off. I guess we will see next episode. I haven’t taken a look to see if it is noticeable in next episode yet. Regardless I don’t think it was necessary to use as a device to show her lack of trust in Killian. Him simply not being present when he has been non-stop by her side would be telling enough….
The meerkat thing cracks me up. I was on tumblr and saw a Captain Meerkat drawing and was like uhh what is this I don’t get it? Then later saw Colin’s tweet and started cracking up. People are fast with their creations!

I was thinking about it and I do think Emma is still going to be mad at Killian about the Henry thing but she does not think he was lying regarding the message (unlike her parents). I think her superpower confirmed that he wasn’t lying and hopefully she convinces Snowing. Plus it obviously doesn’t make sense that he would lie and deceive them. It has been shown before that Emma is way more levelheaded than her parents in that regard (like with the Regina/Archie/Cora debacle).
I am really hoping Henry comes clean about the running away and sticks up for Killian, which makes Emma want to confront Killian for the ENTIRE story and why he didn’t just tell her. Crosses fingers. I think she will still be upset and think it was a dumb idea but will at least understand that he had nothing but good intentions.
