Hook centrics dont tank the ratings- I believe Good Form had the highest ratings in the season at the time it aired & Jolly Roger was one of the most watched shows on the night it aired (I’m pretty sure it pushed Once into the top 20 or top 10 most watched shows)- which is hardly tanking. There is a “General” downward trend with “Most” shows numbers this year. I think this last ep has been one of the lowest to date (I guess the general audience is getting sick of Emma’s delusions as well now lol), or maybe it just seems that way since Once has been on a high the last couple of weeks.
It will be interesting when S3 finishes to find out what the seasons highest rated & lowest rated episodes were.
Yes it would throw a spanner in the works of OQ @callmelola which is why it’s probably spot on- OQ have had it just a little to easy by Once standards 😉 Think next season CS’ers maybe able to hand over some of the angst to the OQ shippers :/

It would make sense of the speed they’ve given OQ if Regina is the one to kill Marian. Lots of angst and that’s just what this show needs more of 😉 But wouldn’t Robin know what happened to his wife? Unless he didn’t know it was Regina who lit the fire. I do like OQ, it’s nice to see Regina happy. It would also be fair to give them a few obstacles to deal with.
@callmeLola – is there actual video of those gifs floating around? I’ve heard his band, but I don’t think I’ve heard him sing solo.

It’s kind of funny being on this forum/chat sometimes, as honestly in the wider fandom the majority LOVE Hook & CS (I even had a peek on an old site i used to visit that was VERY anti Hook & CS at the beginning of S3, but it is now at least 2/3rds pro CS- Hook- it was really amazing to see tbh), so when I happen to stumble across the delusional posts & chat talk of Hook causing numbers/ratings to fall, that the fandom in general doesnt like Hook or CS etc. It has me shaking my head & laughing that Emma isnt the only one with her head in the sand & her brain checked out of reality :p …. I mean there is a lot of Hook hate/haters on this site, but that is not the general consensus with in the fandom & the only reason CS & Hook love isnt more widely represented on this site, is the constant negativity/hate we have already had tossed at us, our ship & our fav/1 of our fav characters, has chased a number of our ship mates off of this site altogether already 🙁
I honestly think that Emma is far less delusional in her belief that NY is the best place for her, than the same few members of this site who insist Hook/CS is everything wrong with the show.
the original airing of Good Form was hurt because the World Series was at the same time for some of the time zones. So it didn’t do well initially.
jolly roger was odd because it did crack the top 20 of all shows watched that week according to Adam’s tweet, but the ratings were lower than before because of spring break.
i also think that most very casual viewers will give an arc 4episodes to see if they like where the arc is going and if they want to watchh the rest. I think never land started to drag in the 4th episode which then impacted Hook’s episode. I the the old west confrontation between evil and wicked was a little anti climatic.
Keeper of Hook and Emma's smoldering first kiss, a certain Pirate's sauciness, the Evil Queen's snarkiness, Grumpy's gruffness and a drop of true love to make it all go down smooth.
I honestly am starting to really like this idea- as much as I love OQ…. because it would add tension, but then how do you justify that- does the past changing changing the future person/people involved enough to impact their current selves or what? What I mean is will OQ no longer be together if this theory turns out to be true, or will they still be together but Regina now has a horrible secret or what? This is going to be an EPIC episode! Cant wait- so much CS goodness!!! 2hrs of the adventures of Emma & Killy!!!!!!! *passes out of excitement overload*
It can be hard here, I’m not going to lie. It’s pretty anti-CS, to the point where I feel like sometimes we have to censor ourselves in our own thread. It’s gotten worse. I used to like going to other ships’ threads, because it’s good to get different opinions, and even see the show through other shippers’ goggles if you will, but the stuff that is said sometimes….it’s like they’re no longer shipping threads, they’re anti-Hook threads. Even just yesterday someone said “is it only CSers here in chat?” … seriously, I had to get out. I don’t need to feel like I have the plague. I have gotten into some pretty ridiculous conversations in non-shipping threads because I’m just not going to put up with every single thread being anti-Hook.
But it does seem to be dying down…the mods do a good job of keeping people in line, things can get out of control quickly and that’s not anyone’s fault. I think the hiatus might do some good with the fandom, and let people just relax a little. But yeah….prolly won’t be hanging around chat after Sunday’s episodes, I’ll be honest.
But blah, enough of that. I’m not going to go into this Sunday’s eps with too much expectation other than it has to at least have some pretty good CS moments! I’m not going to think about TLK or whether Emma finally lets her walls down…but she had better at least treat our pirate like a human being after he apparently jumps through a PORTAL with/for her! And the ONE thing I hope we get to see — Emma’s face when she sees Hook all fancified and Hook’s face when he sees Emma in that dress. Those looks alone will make this finale amazing!
