So I’m hoping to be in the chat room tonight by 7:00 pm EST. My son has a dance recital today and then we are going out to dinner for Mother’s Day, but I tried to make the reservation so I could get back in time to chat for awhile before “the movie” starts.

Whatever negativity is going on today it’s wasted energy! Today is our day a two hour movie with our OTP at the center! I’ll make sure we have a link by 8EST and we can all watch together and celebrate as much as we want without worrying about anything else. Just stick together everyone no matter what anyone says.

I am so excited! And it’s funny, not so much about whether or not CS ‘officially’ becomes ‘Hi, we are officially true love canon. We always were planned to be true love” is actually said. Oh, wait – IT HAS. But anyway, not so excited for the big stuff as much as the little stuff – where did Emma find a change of clothes? Why on earth would you run toward a glowing barn? Is Emma going to get the stick out of her hiney? (ok, maybe that one’s not so little) I’m excited that it’s this little movie, set aside by itself. It should be so much fun. And yes, let’s all try to come here to chat! If it gets ridiculous we’ll leave but I’m sure our mods are prepared (ahhhh to be RG and Matt right now…no thanks! 😉 ) And our excitement will be contagious! Ok, making myself a little nauseus with the giddiness right now again. Luckily I’m going to dinner with my mother soon, that’ll drag me back to reality (love my mother but those not-so-slightly-opinionated-about-EVERYTHING mothers you giggle at on tv? Yeah. That’s her.) So I will be back at 8 ready to be re-excited!

It just makes me so mad to continually read this stuff when Adam and Eddie have even come out and say that he was NEVER meant to be written as a villain.
It’s kind of hard to say Hook was never meant to be written as a villain when during season 2, we saw him doing villainous things, mainly against Belle.
The stuff against Rumple? you could say he was just trying to avenge Milah. Teaming up with Cora? okay, he was just trying to get to Rumple by any means necessary. He offered the deal to Emma which shows he wasn’t loyal to Cora, she was just a means to an end.
The stuff against Belle? A lot harder to handwave. He tried to kill her in Regina’s cell because she was no use him. He could’ve just left her, or even let her escape because she was an innocent but nope he tried to kill her. He shot her over the town line causing her to lose her memories and identity just because it was a way to get to Rumple, but there was no advantage to it other than to p*** of Rumple. Hook completely disregarded Belle’s right to exist as herself.
A&E can’t really say Hook was NEVER meant to be written as a villain when what we have seen on the show proves otherwise. Either that or their definition of villain is kind of skewed.
