I hope Killian’s mother is still around, a “goddess of her own domain”, with a habit of raising one eyebrow! (And not related to anyone else) Heh. Heh. Maybe she would be the source of his culture, gutsy courage and witty snark.

    so many stories to speculate/imagine/tell!

    bring on S4, A&E

As much as I would love to meet more of Killian’s family, I think they’re likely all deceased now.

Remember, Killian is Rumple’s contemporary. They’re from the same period and we know Rumple is at least 300 years old.

Anyway, I like Emma, Henry and the Charmings being his new home.

It’s a shame the genres and the timelines wouldn’t gel ( and we all know A&E. are always spot ON with their timelines WINK , affectionate WINK) because Killian would be a perfect progeny  of that dashing blockade runner Captain Rhett Butler and Miss Katie Scarlett O’Hara!!

    laughhhhinggg.

“True love follows this ring,” – Ruth (The Shepard, 1×07)

I made a post before but I think it’s valid to point out that Snow’s ring was present when Killian and Emma first met and it played a HUGE role in the finale.

Emma and Killian’s job was to get Snow to steal the ring and make sure Snow and Charming fell in love with each other. And seeing her parents fall in love helped Emma come to terms with her own feelings and help her realize what Killian means to her and her knowing what he gave up for her, his home, The Jolly Roger, to get back to her (his new home) is perfect and poetic and really the icing on the cake that Emma needed to be sure.

But how wonderful is it that Captain Swan started with Snow’s ring and ended with them finding their way back home to each other? And Emma had the ring with her most of the time.

Captain Swan is flawless and beautiful.

Well I guess it’s more like his dying wish was that Emma find happiness which is honorable

Yes – I agree. Not that he had to give it or Emma needed it… but it is nice to know that is what he was thinking / feeling – that he wanted Emma to find her ‘home’ and ‘happiness’… that he was thinking of Emma.

It was & you know what else has been SERIOUSLY under rated for it’s MEGA foreshadowing?! This little gem of a scene-

I noticed it from the 2nd time I rewatched, but was on to big of a buzz to really ‘think’ about it much.

I know – I thought oooohhh how cute when i watched it and it went right out of my head. its is a great scene. It would have been adorable if he told her she was rushing things a bit and gave her a wink. heheh

Past!Hook is an excited puppy pirate:
I’ve been laughing for 45 hours over the fact that Past!Hook was so ready for his requested privacy with Emma that he whispered, “Oh, yes,” to himself.

hahah – missed that. checking it out tonight 🙂

This little moment is so beautiful. Look at his eyes.
She kisses him and for a brief moment he watches her. He needs that tiny moment more to realise and accept that it’s happening. The women he loves, who he would go to the end of the world and time for, has opened her heart to him. He promised to win her heart without trickery and that’s exactly what he’s done. It’s real, it’s happening and so he closes his eyes and loses himself in the moment.
I love this I love this I love this

    so sweet

the house of The Lord” aka “the home of the Savior.”

I had brought this up once too. So in the book Hook’s name is not given but he is called James – which means supplanter… which they wouldnt want to use because Hook “took” Milah from Rumple and Emma from Bae. (charming’s brother could have been named anything)
But I just couldnt figure out why in the world A&E would have chosen Killian ( Church ) for him.

You’r post make so much sense and sounds like that is exactly why A&E picked the name ‘Killian.’ Now I feel dopey that I couldnt put 2 and 2 together.

    From my tumblr:

The person Emma Swan ends up with needs to be someone who will cherish, love her and always come back to her. Emma’s name means “universal” and Killian’s name means “sanctuary.”

Translation: Killian will be Emma’s sanctuary and she will be the center of his universe.
