Yay promos!
But what is with them barely showing Lacey?! The episode is named after her and you barely see any hint of the RumBelle storyline- particularly in the Us promo. Oh well- less than a week till we finally get to see it!
So curious about the little glimpses they gave us. Hook teaming with Greg and Tamara? Regina getting shock therapy?! Someone either dies or is thought to be dead because we see characters dressed for a funeral…(I suspect Neal may by thought to be dead- honestly, I’d rather no one died for real- particularly core characters or those directly related to core characters.)
It looks like I was right about Belle- Lacey likes darkness…Rumple will either succumb to temptation or have to fight for Belle to find her goodness again.

I hope we get a clip with Lacey herself. I’ve been dying to meet her since we first heard about the episode!
I was doing well…but the withdrawal is really starting to seep in now! I’m going bonkers! I think I’ve watched that little sneak peek clip like a dozen times….
🙂 I love RumBelle too and as you might have guessed from my screen name, Belle is my favorite character of all time. I can’t wait for her to come back!
I just don’t think it is likely that we will have Lacey for only one episode- it’s too fast. I think it will be great fun to meet Lacey- as long as she is Belle again before the season ends!
It is a very dramatic switch. Belle wears short skirts, yes, but not mini skirts barely passed her bottom or anything one would describe as “scantily clad.” She usually wears cute flirty, girly dresses or blouses and with skirts and bold, colorful patterns. In those pics, she has a solid black revealing mini dress with black tights and a practically neon little jacket.
Emma and Snow’s style changes were subtle- they still fit the character. Belle’s clothes in those pictures are not like her at all.
I think they implied that Lacey *does* end up getting together with Gold at some point. Jane Espenson joked about Gold and Lacey having “sexy times.” Just because she is glaring at him in the promo pics doesn’t mean things don’t change. There’s a story arc being told.

But we don’t know how or even if her personality shifted. She could be Belle but taking greater fashion risks because she’s young and sexy and has a boyfriend who thinks shes beautiful, ect. If the spoiler is correct that the beast rubs off on the beauty instead of the other way around this time, then Belle would choose that dress. It totally suits a new combined Lacey/Belle. And her hair is very Belle. Lacey’s hair is always up and Belle’s is down. If Whale was hitting on Belle, she might let Rumple defend her and do what he does because again she is now both. Lacey is tougher and maybe more okay with passionate outbursts.
Ehhh…maybe, but I just don’t see it. Belle allowing Gold to beat someone? To put his foot in Whale’s face and say “Kiss My boot!”? That would be so out of character for her. When I first saw those set pictures, I thought it was really obvious that she was still Lacey at that point based on what she was wearing and the scene description. They did say at Paleyfest that Lacey is the complete opposite of Belle.
Actually, Belle’s hair *is* up in that scene…it isn’t until later when she has the blue coat on that it is down. I sense a transition happening there somewhere, and I don’t think she will be getting the short shaft if that happens in the finale. She had great moments in last season’s finale, and there were tons of things happening then too.

Honestly, from the pics, I think Belle is still Lacey at this point. Reports from those watching the filming say she wasn’t acting very Belle like. I suspect her getting her memories back will be a big moment in the season finale.
