Hm…yeah, true. He has been around a long time- perhaps long enough to learn how to take hearts. But I still don’t think the heart is actually Aurora’s…or maybe that is just me hoping that Hook didn’t really betray them like that. I know- you can’t have all the villains turn out to be good, but I like the idea of Hook pulling one over on Cora. It drives me crazy when a character keeps switching sides! And I’m too easily fooled.
[adrotate group="5"]angiebelleParticipantI am not entirely convinced that Hook actually took Aurora’s heart since they didn’t show us what really happened there- they showed Hook freeing Aurora. When would he have been able to take her heart? And I don’t think Hook is capable of such magic. He may have just stolen one of Cora’s. The way they played that scene seemed to indicate they want to keep us on our toes because they were very vague about what was going on. They don’t explicitly say it’s Aurora’s heart- they sort of imply it, but you know how this show likes to have misleading implications.
angiebelleParticipantEh, still not fond of the idea. The show is getting complicated enough as it is.
angiebelleParticipantBlue Fairy doesn’t make a habit of lying- she was forced into it by Gepetto and was very uncomfortable with the idea. Why would she lie about a land without magic anyway? What benefit could she possibly get from lying about that?
I don’t think Bae’s personality fits Peter either…Peter is a cocky show off. He battles Hook just for the thrill of it! He has no desire to grow up. He is selfish. I can’t imagine Bae taking on that persona.
angiebelleParticipantI don’t like the idea of Bae being Peter very much- and I’m a huge Neverland fan. He was deliberately sent to a land without magic. Neverland is *filled* with magic! Tinker Bell isn’t the only fairy….there is an entire community of fairies- not to mention the magic that keeps everyone from aging. In some versions of Neverland, anything that you make believe becomes real. I think Bae ending up in Neverland would undermine the entire point of the curse- the whole reason Rumple brought everyone to our world! He spent hundreds of years figuring out where Bae went. If he didn’t end up in our world, in our time, why would Rumple have chosen that specific time and place for the curse to send everyone? I don’t think it was random!
Also, K&H did not have the rights to Peter Pan last year, and I imagine that they had already decided what happened to Bae at that point.
That’s not to say I wouldn’t love to see the Peter character- I just don’t see him as being Bae.

angiebelleParticipantWell, the biggest difference between the book and the film besides the color of the slippers is that in the book, Oz isn’t a dream. The shoes take her to the field outside her home, and that’s where her family finds her. The shoes fall off en route. Another difference is that in the book there are *two* good witches just as there are two bad- the Good Witch of the North and Glinda who is actually the Good Witch of the South if I remember correctly. Other differences are a sequence involving a town made of china and that it’s mice who rescue them from the poison of the poppies. I’m sure there are others, but it’s been years since I read the book.
angiebelleParticipantSlippers! Holy cow- I heard him say something about another land he wanted to get to, but I missed the part about the slippers! Awesome!
angiebelleParticipantHi! I just moved to CA from Orlando, FL- I used to work at Walt Disney World! I’m a huge Disney fan dating back to childhood. Welcome!
angiebelleParticipantIt doesn’t…not really…but it looks as if Jefferson knew him from going through the portal and pulled him from another world to bring Daniel back.
