[adrotate group="5"]fairycutie86ParticipantI liked it! Mostly bought it because I loved the cover and the pictures inside. But overall, great interviews and sneak peaks.
fairycutie86ParticipantSome other things that I think should be brought up by the finale:
*I think we will learn who August is and what his motives are.
*And I agree, Emma will start to believe a tiny bit, but not a lot.
*Maybe a Belle/Rumple reunion? I don’t know about that one because Mr. Gold has to have his agendas and the return of Belle makes him lose that particular agenda.
*Yes, one more person remembering and David seems a likely candidate.
*More deaths? It’s the creators of “Lost.” Someone’s dying! That’s why I kind of feel like Regina is dying, bringing way for a new evil character. Plus, she enacted the curse. There’s got to be conflict with the curse.
*Also I think the finale will have some big battle of some sort: Snow and the dwarves rescuing James from King George’s cluthes; a showdown between Snow/Regina while in the midst of trying to free James. And some type of lead up to Snow being placed in the coffin.Just some thoughts, and things I’d personally like to see happen.
fairycutie86ParticipantYes, that was so awesome! Screams epic season 1 finale with Snow and the dwarves kicking some butt.
fairycutie86ParticipantYeah, I was thinking that either Gold or Regina put the key in the cell with Mary-Margaret. Both have their agendas for putting the key there. But, heck, it could be someone totally unexpected who put it there. I think we can rule out Emma. Emma really wants to uphold the law, so I don’t see her wanting to do anything to harm Mary-Margaret’s case. Could August be a possibility? He seems to know all. How he would have sneaked into the station to do that, I don’t know. But Gold and Regina are probably the most likely. The Henry theory’s a great one too.
fairycutie86ParticipantLoved this episode!
Everyone’s already mentioned some great scenes, but I think I was most thrilled by Jiminy Cricket. I didn’t quite get why he was there (still felt like there was some backstory missing with how he comes across Snow and the dwarves), but he was the cutest thing ever.
Least favorite scenes: hmm…I didn’t particularly hate any moments. Just me really thinking, “god, David’s a jerk.” 😆 But I still loved those scenes between him and Mary-Margaret.
fairycutie86ParticipantBeautiful icons! Amazing job!
fairycutie86ParticipantI’m failing at answering the opening questions, but I still have some thoughts in regards to Red/Ruby’s character in both worlds.
In FTL, Red comes across as naive and has a childish innocence to her—she’s almost very dreamlike. She’s repressed, basically—both physically and sexually. She wants to leave Granny and prove herself in the world. As we know, Granny’s terrified of Red living a life because of what she thinks Red is capable of doing, which is kill people. But Red doesn’t see that until the end when she understands who she is.
In Stroybrooke, Ruby is, in some ways, similar to her alter ego, but also different. In Storybrooke, Ruby is not sexually repressed. Rather, she flaunts her sexuality and gets other females, like Ashely, to try and be a bit more sexier. Ruby, though, lacks the confidence that Red has. Ruby thinks she’s capable of doing nothing until Emma proves otherwise. What Ruby does share with Red, though, is her dream to be free and do what she likes, until at the end she realizes that what she loved doing most was working in that diner and being with Granny.
Okay, those are my thoughts. Hope they made sense. I feel like I had some more things to share, but I totally forgot half of what I wanted to say 😆
fairycutie86ParticipantFor me, personally, I think the heart is Kathryn’s. The heart is a literal human heart—not the magical heart like we saw in “The Heart is a Lonely Hunter.” If the heart, is in fact, not Kathryn’s, it most certainly is someone’s heart (and I’m sure Regina has lots of people she’s wanted to kill). I don’t think it’s a magical heart seeing as how it’s not glowing.
I think it’s obvious (to me anyway) that Regina put that box there and framed Mary-Margaret with the fingerprints. I’m curious how Regina got the fingerprints to start with 😆
fairycutie86ParticipantWow! This was such an amazing, intense episode. Most certainly my fave after “The Heart is a Lonely Hunter” and “Skin Deep.” I loved the darker atmosphere and story.
I really didn’t have anything to dislike. I am sliding around in the middle somewhere in my feelings for how I feel about Red being the Wolf. The whole season I’ve been excited to actually see the Wolf, so I was shocked, a little disappointed, but also intrigued by the setup of Red as the Wolf. I’m quite conflicted, to be honest.
All the Red and Snow scenes were brilliant and so cute. I loved the further development of Granny/Ruby in both Storybrooke and FTL. And can I just say what awesome clothes Ruby had on. I want her hair, too.
The David/Mary-Margaret side story was so interesting as well. And David seemed quite genuine about Kathryn being dead (or is she?)
Peter! Oh, poor boy! That was heartbreaking. The actress doing Ruby did such a fantastic job showing her distress over what she had just did to the love of her life.
Overall, such an amazing episode. I really hope the rest of the season is like this.
