I liked Mulan. She has to be tough because she is a warrior. She may come off rough but I think that is her being on guard.

Also Emma always is reluctant to take something from someone right away, especially Ragina. You see her questioning things in her eyes (facial expression) so unless she senses trust she won’t take it, or takes it to examine closely for clues. Sadly there are no clues in an apple turnover.
Perhaps they had to know who they really were. Their true identities were stolen. The curse was created with “Snow White’s” and “Prince Charming’s” hair, not David and MM. (even though they are one.)
Also Emma had to believe.

Oh man, my first thought(s) were Red or Granny shooting the arrow but the Huntsman is so more likely, lol.
I don’t know about MM regaining her memory as she is reading to Henry. I think it is just one of those emotional moments where she is thinking about how she had no one in the past. She says “When I first gave you this book…” She is going way back before Emma even came to StoryBrooke, before any interaction with David (other than flowers on her rounds). Something will wake her, but I don’t think it will be the book.
Wow, so many awesome theories! I do like the idea of searching for a home going from world to world and encountering obstacle after obstacle, but then you are right H, we would loose StoryBrooke and Gold’s search for Bae.
And of course the line “Magic is coming” would make no sense if Emma took them out of StoryBrooke.
It looks as though the “Magic” may transform StoryBrooke in some way, a way no one is expecting.
Here is a thought, if Malefisent enters StoryBrooke can’t we assume or at least guess that Bae might be able to find his way there too? Who is to say that once Emma believes that those that were lost before the curse may find there way back to their loved ones in StoryBrooke now that magic exists.
