I definately believe Regina deeply loves Henry.
I agree, and I think this is strong evidence that Regina didn’t ask for Henry in particular when she hired Gold to help her adopt a child. Regina hates young Snow, and so hates adult Snow, and so hates Snow’s daughter. I think that chain of hatred would have continued with Snow’s grandson.
So, Regina didn’t know who Henry was. Gold didn’t know, either, because he only got his memory back when Emma came to town.
I think Bae must have arranged the adoption. They pretty much told us he travelled through time, so he arrived in our world in the late 20th century. I can buy that he found out where his dad was and then learned all he could about Storybrooke. Then, if Bae is Henry’s father, he’d have wanted his son to be safe, and the only sure way to protect his son from Regina would have been to make the baby dear to her. It’s a tactic that Bae’s dad also used, hiding something precious close to the heart of an enemy.
I don’t know if Bae is the author of the fairy tale book — he could be, or the book could be how he learned about Storybrooke’s hidden history — but I think he had something to do with Henry receiving it, as a kind of “Everything you need to know to survive in Storybrooke” manual.

GaultheriaParticipantEccentric fashion sense, can travel instantaneously, centuries old, feared by all. What colour was his palace? Blue?

GaultheriaParticipantTrue love is something directed outward, that one person shows for another. There are good qualities that are directed inward — self-esteem, integrity, etc — but I think love has such power in fairy tales because it can only serve others, not oneself.

GaultheriaParticipantTrue love also created revolutions: “Let’s take back the kingdoms.”

Do you think Bae’s mother would be brought to SB–and encounter Belle–or would Rumple go to her?
I think this would have to take place in Storybrooke. The show just feels to me as if Fairy Tale Land has to stay in the past.
I don’t think Belle and Bae’s mom would compete for Rumpel’s attention, though. Rumpel’s feelings for Belle seem genuine. If he does bring back Bae’s mom, it’ll be for the same reason that King Leopold bought a new wife he didn’t love.

Since whoever bottled true love has the power to do anything, I think that this most powerful form of magic could enable him to bring back someone to life, just in case his son died.
I like that idea. I think the magic might be intended for someone else, though. Rumpel is obsessed with fixing things for Bae, and I’m guessing that includes bringing Bae’s mother back into the picture.

I think that the true loves kiss brought “light to the darkness” like Mary said, but it did not actually break the curse and was not the thing that broke the curse. The realm jumping has still not been undone. And the fairy is still a human and Jiminy still a man and so on and so forth.
Maybe the curse did break completely, meaning that the curse was not responsible for all of the magical changes that happened 28 years ago. I’ve been thinking that the Blue Fairy’s words to Rumpel — “Only you would think of a curse” — might be better interpreted as “Only you would think of this as a curse”.

Basically, every time a soldier shows up to try and kill him, he does that ‘Poof! Now, you’re a rose!’ bit, thus the reason why he has a nice vase of roses when Charming comes to see him.
Better than a vase of snails.

GaultheriaParticipantBae might not need redemption even if he is Henry’s father. We don’t know whether Emma has told the truth about Henry’s father to anyone in Storybooke; she might have reasons she’d rather not talk about that part of her life, and citing him as a source of pain would give her the excuse to stay silent.

GaultheriaParticipantThey missed an opportunity to bring “Androcles and the Lion” into continuity. A dragon might be grateful to the person who removed a big chunk of metal from her neck, and might owe that person a favour.
