JESUS
That’s a strong word to curse with. Might not mean much to some, but it’s my savior’s name.

GaultheriaParticipantI didn’t expect the Back to the Future gag to continue this week, but okay, as long as the characters don’t break the fourth wall by talking about it, I’m happy. They like their pop culture references so much on this show, and I think those need to be done with stealth to be funny. Giving up the “I am _____, and this is _____” joke is a good sign, too.
I’ll be very disappointed if they don’t travel 20 minutes into the future, and I’d have one of them pose as a piano tuner who is startled into scraping a tool along the piano wires.

GaultheriaParticipantNope. Adam explained that it’s one Agrabah, but it’s one large region split into different cities. Jasmine’s father rules the capital, while Jafar’s father ruled a different city in Agrabah. That’s why the caption said “Capital of Agrabah”.
I was thinking of realms as parallel dimensions. OUAT already has its own version of DC’s multiverse, with at least one fictional London alongside the real one, so the framework is already there if they want to explain the two Jafars that way.

GaultheriaParticipantMore than one London, more than one Agrabah.

A prince or something, then, just pretending to be a thief?

GaultheriaParticipantHook will offer the shears, Emma will be angry, then she’ll be tempted, then she’ll reject the shears (and everyone will accept her decision this time), and then she’ll need to use them.
Bringing this over from the general thread:
–I’m really disappointed that Aladdin used the Shears. I guess he serves as a foil to Emma but there’s still no advancement in the Savior mythos; Aladdin has nothing to offer Emma except a way out.
Or a way to activate all of the potential saviors for the finale!
Oh sure. Let’s just go straight up Buffy S7. Why not.
I think it sounds like a very Disney resolution, in a good way: some problems are too big for one person to handle, we all have to band together, the Force is with us, that sort of thing. Emma is even the right age to have watched Buffy while growing up; she could get the idea from the show. They might have to be vague about referring to Buffy on-screen if the corporate family tree doesn’t let them say it directly, and I don’t think everyone would stay magical after the resolution, but I’m guessing the writing team expected this to be the final season when they started work after the hiatus, so a big finale that involves everyone in town could’ve be on their minds.
On a more mundane note, relatively speaking: if those shears can cut through fate, they can cut through the barrier at the edge of town.

GaultheriaParticipantYes after this last episode it does seem like the show might go down the romantic path for Lucy and Wyatt.
It would give Matt a chance to say that line, maybe as an exclamation of surprise when Wyatt finds out who Flynn is.
On the serious side of things, what’s the plutonium for? Power source? (They did mention Back to the Future this episode.) Explosive? (After 50 years, would it still be pure enough for that?) Chemical or radiological weapon? (Nahh, too ordinary a result for such a complicated criminal plot.) I’m guessing they need to sign an action in the pre-atomic era, to prove they were responsible, using an element that doesn’t occur in nature in more than the tiniest trace quantities.

GaultheriaParticipant–So Lucy broke up with the fiancee. If Flynn is her son (seems like a popular theory?) then who is the father?
Matt Lanter voices Anakin Skywalker, so…
