ParticipantI think the NYC Guy is Bae. I think he’s also Peter Pan. NY City- Little Italy- famous bakery called “Peter Pan Pastries”. Also, Northeastern US has the Peter Pan Bus Line…with stops along the route that include Boston (where Emma was from) and Maine (Storybrooke). Been in business since the 30’s…..some of the vintage microphones look to be from the 30’s. The monacles and the Cleaners and Hatters sign, obviously a AIW nod – could be a clue that Jefferson sent the post card…???

ParticipantRidiculous is a pretty harsh word….especially since no one knows for sure who he is/isn’t…….especially when there is like 3 paragraphs worth of clues/info supporting the Frankenstein theory. Of course, I don’t know for sure, none of us do, but, it is a well thought out theory and there is no denying that there is a TON of info to support it. Just because someone doesn’t agree with someone else’s theory, doesn’t make it ridiculous…it’s a little thing called ‘respect’ for other ppl’s ideas…..just sayin’
And the show isn’t about fairy tales….K&H (the creators) have stated repeatedly, since the beginning of S1 that the show is about STORIES….hence- the name of the town ‘STORYbrooke’

ParticipantI don’t agree with a lot of theories, but, I appreciate the fact that there are some really intelligent ppl on here that have some very well thought out ideas. We are all just guessing at this point. That’s what a theory is, an educated guess. A lot of ppl put a lot of thought into these theories, and, although I am convinced of a certain a theory, I actually try to entertain the ideas of others…mainly because those ideas are interesting, but, also because, hey, what if that person is right? I would never bash someone’s idea or come right out and say I hate it, even if I did hate it. It’s just disrespectful… IMO.

ParticipantI like that, Marilou. I noticed some things LOST related in S1, as well. Other than the fun little visual nods (Apollo bars, McCutheon Whiskey…)….seemed like Gold pulled a “long con” on Emma in Desperate Souls. Emma and August’s conversation at the well was reminiscent of Jack/Locke – Man of Science/Man of Faith.

ParticipantWow. Seeing it all together like that….it really is a lot of info 🙂
Plus there’s the Red, White and Blue comment Anders made, which could be hinting at the documentary – “Nightmares in Red, White and Blue: Evolution of the American Horror Film”…which, of course, focuses on Frankenstein.Go Team Frankie! lol

ParticipantHad a thought. Being that you saw 2 medallions, that could explain the discrepancy in the symbols. Some ppl were saying that it was the Alchemical symbol for Arsenic. While the symbols do vary, to some degree, they don’t vary that much. The Alchemical symbol for Arsenic is two triangles overlapping each other…one open one closed. The symbol on the medallion that we could see on OUAT looks more closely like the Alchemical symbol for Antimony. Or maybe it’s just a made up symbol and I’m over analyzing lol!

ParticipantGood pick up on noticing 2 madallions. I thought the same thing- Regina seemed sincere when she asked “Who’s Jefferson?” Until a friend found this:
