i remember when hook shot belle, rumple said ” what you did can’t be undone”… if we know rumple well, he will turn to magic for help… but who knows, maybe he is willing to change and do the hard way, start all over again with belle…. how can the beauty live a life without the beast?

hahaha… i do agree. maybe just for fun… she cast it. and just for fun she put him in “chinatown” too. but how philip knows chinese is kinda strange to me… belle knows because she read a lot of all kind of books… but philip? 😕
Okay guys, this is a bit odd… i just thought about hook and his hand this morning, and this evening i just came across this page https://oncepodcast.com/the-outsider-full-discussion-and-theories-once-upon-a-time-podcast-074/ , and guess what… there is hook’s hand at rumple’s shop!!! there is still hope that hook can become killian again. i remember i saw a photo of hook in normal clothes at the set, but don’t know if it’s just colin on the way to work or hook as normal guy in SB…
now that he has shot belle, it’s very difficult to believe that rumple would ever do this favor for him… but somehow this could mean the end of this war between the two of them… killian “took” away rumple’s wife-rumple cut killian’s hand-rumple killed milah-hook shot belle….
anyway IF hook become killian, i know 100 % that he will team up with emma for sure.. would be awesome 😀 😀 😀
what if it’s possible for hook to become killian again, if rumple somehow is willing to give him his hand back? just like rumple used magic to make whale got his arm back in the episode “the doctor”….i believe that hook’s hand is somewhere in rumple’s shop… this could be awesome…
this will be an epic episode! i’m a big fan of rumbelle so the kiss between rumple and cora is quite a surprise 😯 …. what if this kiss is some kind of a spell that cora is helping rumple, so he can go and kiss belle and make her remember again? i believe that rumple and cora made a deal, and in order for cora to help him, he will help her to get regina back…. or like you all said, a dream or some thing like this…. if not… what an awkward scene…! awww
when it comes to cora and regina… i do believe that cora must have gone through some kind of let down in her past when it comes to true love because she keeps saying that love is a weakness… maybe this is the reason why she is so cold, manipulative, and mega control-freak… i don’t know but it seems like cora has changed a bit… she didn’t stop regina’s curse, and she wanted to bring snow’s heart to her daughter which has been regina’s biggest desire… can it be that since cora saw regina cried at her coffin, has melted her heart somehow? even tho cora might still want to control regina and turn her back to evil queen, but she also want what regina wants now and want to help her? if this makes any sense…. 😐 or have i been blind fooled by lady cora AGAIN 😀
i’m a big fan of captain swan too!! hope they will figure out a way to be together..they’re so similar….hook is right… “a man who cant fight for what he wants, deserve what he gets”…. sorry neal!

No mistakes made, but it seems to confuse some people
The timeline (with a few more events to give orientation, but not all events shown in flashback so far):
- Someone creates the Dark Curse. Good guess is Rumple, but we can’t be sure of that. (not shown yet)
At some unknown point Rumple gave Regina the Dark Curse for whatever deal. When exactly and how and why then hasn’t been told in the show so far. Out of whatever reason though Regina didn’t make use of it at that point. (not shown so far, but in 1×02 we learn she had that curse and traded it)
Regina has the idea to go after Snow by using the Sleeping Curse. She trades the Dark Curse for the Sleeping Curse with Maleficent,(based on what we learn in 1×02), probably because she finds it at that time useless for her goal. Can only speculate why Maleficent traded it for her Sleeping Curse. Maybe she considered it to take revenge on Aurora’s mother / family? But for sure Maleficent didn’t use the curse.(Another interesting story not told so far)
Regina sends Hansel and Gretel to get a magic apple from the Blind Witch (not to confuse with the other that later was at the meeting when Regina first tried to enact the Dark Curse) (1×09). She combines it with the Sleeping Curse (or she alread did that, then traded the cursed apple and needs it back, but think the first idea works better). (that is a guess, based on what Rumple tells in 2×08 about Regina inventing a new method to deliver the Sleeping Curse) (this could have happened before the trade or after, but around that time)
King Georg captures Charming, Regina trades him for some riches, and then pressures Snow into taking a bite of the cursed apple. Snow under Sleeping Curse (1×21)
Charming escapes Regina with the help of the huntsman, but Regina manages to sent him into the Infinite Forest. Rumple shows up, offers Charming help to get out of the forest and find Snow. As deal he makes him hid the love potion with Maleficent. Charming does that, then finds Snow and the magic kiss happens. (ep 1×22)
Snow and Charming go after King Georg and Regina. They defeat King Georgs army and capture Regina, the Evil Queen. (this episode)
Rumple makes a deal with Snow, and creates a protection spell, making it impossible for Regina to harm Snow or Charming in “this land” (aka Enchanted Forest, Fairy Tale Land). They ban Regina. (this episode)
Shortly after: Rumple visits Regina and points out to her, that she can’t harm Snow or Charming in this land, but doesn’t mean she can’t harm them in another land. That is when Regina remembers the Dark Curse – and let’s her father get the carriage, she has a wedding to get to. (in this episode)
Regina crashes the wedding at the castle and tells everybody there, she’s going to destroy their happiness (pilot)
Regina goes and gets the curse back from Maleficent (1×02)
Sometime between that and the enacting of the curse Hook sneaks into Regina’s palace to get information from Belle, who is kept there. Regina catches him and offers a deal, sending him to take the heart of her mother Cora. Hooks goes to Wonderland, and Cora makes a new deal with him. Hook brings back Cora to the Enchanted Forest, seemingly dead. (2×09)
Some months after the wedding Regina enacts the curse. To do it she has to kill her father. Emma is born and escapes the curse via the magic wardrobe (pilot, 1×02)
It is an interesting question, why she got or had the curse before and traded it with Maleficent. But it’s just that this story hasn’t been told so far on the show.
That was awesome 😀 Well written myril, I really enjoy reading this post…it really brings back some memories of earlier episodes in season 1 that I’ve forgotten.
My memory just came back.. the winter/holiday break was a bit long 😎 Now everything makes more sense. Of course Cora must have known that magic exist in SB, how else could Emma and MM get to the FTL….. I’ve totally forgotten that! Sorry for such a stupid question dearies… 😳 Thanks for all the responds.

It’s made me wonder if perhaps she’s the one who Rumple was originally gonna recruit to cast it, but that plan didn’t work out. Like, perhaps Cora knew how it was all gonna work, and when it came to sacrificing the one she loved most to cast the curse, she’d had to have sacrificed Regina, and she couldn’t. That could explain why Rumple set his sights on recruiting Regina to perform the task instead, and the tragedy of it all would be that in the end, Regina’s life did in a way end up being sacrificed for the sake of the curse, even if her mother hadn’t been able to sacrifice her for it in the beginning. It’s basically just pure speculation, but Cora’s intimate knowledge of the curse had to come from somewhere and once I’d started wondering about it, my imagination kinda ran away with it. 😉
As for Cora knowing there’s magic in SB, she knew that Emma and Snow got from SB to FTL, which involved magic on the SB end. I don’t remember exactly how much info we saw the girls give to “Lancelot”, but safe to say they’d have told “him” about the state of things in SB.
Ahhh, that would explain a lot.. I almost thought that Cora have some sort of spy-cam in SB…. Thank you dearie 😀
Am I the only one that can’t understand why Cora knows that there is magic in SB?? 😕 How can she know so much, like the curse will be broke in 28 years, everyone will get memory-loss and there will be a savior etc…
It was Rumple that came up with the curse so it’s confusing that Cora share this knowledge…… Any one have any idea???
