ParticipantI still think it is true too. As far as i am concerned, the Blue Fairy is the ultimate evil behind all the long games. It just makes way too much sense.

ParticipantEspecially in this show, the memories of having something happen does not mean it happened. All the main characters have multiple versions of memories of their pasts in their heads. Versions of living in Storybrooke, versions of raising Henry, wish world versions, rewritten author versions. That doesn’t mean that all of those things really tangibly happened. That is the problem here.
It is a problem of their own making too. They were very clear when they created the wish realm. That it wasn’t real. It was a created construct of Emma/split Regina’s wish. Real Regina did not murder a Snow and Charming and then steal a version of Henry’s mother leaving that Henry parentless and desperate and alone. They wanted to make sure that we knew that it wasn’t real because of that.
Then they lost most of the cast because they didn’t want to be on the show, so they just decided to ignore what actually happened on the show. Regina pretty much created a situation where there is now a Henry who could become darker and more evil then she was as the Evil Queen and they have just completely ignored that, so that they could take that Hook and reuse him while keeping real Hook with Emma in Storybrooke.
That is the entire game here. Now, they are pretending that fake Hook is a real person who has existed for hundreds of years and that actually did these things. They just took something that existed and rewrote it, just like they have done many times before, just like they rewrote the characters of Regina and Hook many times, just like they rewrote Emma’s backstory, and Regina’s backstory, and Snow’s, to the point where the show is just one big convoluted mess that doesn’t make any sense. That’s it. That’s the show.

ParticipantThey could still fix it by just having Neal not be dead. They left his body unattended in the forest moments after he died. Rumpel could have not really taken that out of character memory potion at the end of Season 3. It would be so easy for them to just pretend that it didn’t happen. They wouldn’t even have to do anything all that convoluted. They could just have Neal show up and say someone saved me, but i got stuck in another realm.
They aren’t going to do that though. They are all in on what they have written and they are sticking too it. Just based on how badly Eddy behaves in interviews proves how stubborn he is and how much he doesn’t care about the integrity of his story. He wants us all to like it and he thinks we are stupid because we don’t. It is really that simple.
PS. Also, that doesn’t really fix it. They can’t write four seasons of terribly written, plot heavy, non existent character development, misogynistic seasons, and then fix it in a trick at the end of the series. Nothing can fix the show now. That has been true for years and years.

ParticipantThey are never going to give a real focus to the LGBT relationship. They will probably get like a third of the focus like in the Red/Dorthy episode.

ParticipantMaybe the dead characters will come back or they will show Rumpel briefly reuniting with Belle.

ParticipantI agree. Any sort of pre existence of the wish realm makes no sense. The wish realm has no real history. The writers just don’t care.

ParticipantI don’t think it was Alice. They need to do a better job making Alice seem sane because no one should be dating her as she is now. I hope she gets her memories back soon.

ParticipantIt seems like they might be showing the Underworld. I don’t know.

ParticipantDoes that look like Rumpel’s castle from the Enchanted Forest?

ParticipantWhat characters are they considering beloved? Though this is a rewriting of some spoiler, so who knows how much can be taken seriously. Someone dies and someone is blamed. I agree, that whomever dies is probably nobody that matters. I would say Regina is the one most likely to be blamed because Rumpel is a cop, so he would already have another role in this scenario, but who knows.
