Liza Minnelli is Judy Garland’s daughter. Judy Garland played Dorthy in the Wizard of Oz. They have the exact same eyes. The thing is i have never seen Liza Minnelli in anything so i don’t really get the reference completely. All i know is that Granny called her Eliza during fleet week and Ruby called her Norman Bates, when Norman Bates is dressed up like his mother. I just think that neither comment are true, but both meant to be funny sarcastic comments. I do get the Norman Bates one from Psycho.
I don’t think they have hinted at all what game Rumpel is playing. It is probably one of the most annoying things about the show. At least with Regina they hinted throughout the series what Snow did, so that we were able to guess the general details of what happened between Snow and Regina. I don’t really have any clue what Rumpel is doing except it may have to do with Bae or the dark curse, but i think they are just going to throw it out there all at once sometime in the last four episodes.
I have been wondering about the book. I wonder how far it goes back. It seems like that the times we have seen the stories in the book have all been from very near the curse. Such as in the life of Snow White. So is the book really just about Snow White and Regina and their fight? Even the Hatter’s story had Regina in it. It is just the stories that go far back like Rumpel or Jiminy, Henry has never been shown seeing pages from those stories in the book. I think the page the farthest back we have seen is of Snow White as a child.
Mary has got to be in her late 20s around Emma’s age. I don’t think i can buy she is 21 also she is supposed to be a teacher which means she has to be at least 23 at the youngest. And even if Ruby is like 20 and Dr. Whale is like 35ish or something that is a big gap. And him hitting on her out on the street at night is really a creepy thing to do.
I think that is right obsgirl. That i think is the biggest reason that Emma will go back to fairytale land.
I just think Snow has some issues with depression. We have seen that happen to her multiple times which more then makes sense in light of all that has happened to her. And yet she still is able to fight back from it and try to do the best she can.
I think that they are trying to make the Liza comparison i think i might just be too young to get it. I think that the way Granny said Eliza or Liza was sarcastic and that they were making fun of each other regardless of whether i get the reference or not that was the tone and the body language. And after hearing people talk about it the Liza Minnelli reference that makes enough sense to me that that is probably what they are talking about.
