I like the idea that Snow touched the box in the fairytale land and then it came with the queen to the real world and then the queen used it to frame Mary. I hope they do that.
I just posted about this in the spoiler forum. I’m totally all about this theory, OK, reality.
[adrotate group="5"]indyandmarionParticipantThe episode was great but I’ve noticed a lot of people aren’t really talking about Mary’s fingerprints on and inside the box with Kathryn’s heart.
Surely I’m not the only one who believe’s that fingerprints who belong to a character in FTL carries over into SB…

Great first post, IndyandMarion!
Maybe the next episode will be of another search party in the woods—this time for Kathryn instead of David. Odd turn of events?Thank you.
Not as odd as it might sound. Remember, Kathryn went in search for David in this reality and also in FTL (To help get the water). So, given how painfully annoying David is being, I’ll be willing to bet that he’ll feel guilty for what happened and lead the group that sets out to find her. Reversing the roles in reality.
Side question: I know FTL stans for Fairy Tale Land, but what are you all using for “our reality”. I might have seen it on the forums, and I just overlooked it.

Reality seems to believe (This isn’t dealing with the show at all) that adults seem to forget/not believe in fairy tales as children do. Back to the show, Regina could be in a situation where she thinks this book is just fantasy (When we know it is true) and isn’t really concerned with it.
Now, going back to the “Regina knows who she really is” topic. If it hits her that “Oh crap, this book is giving away secrets that I can’t allow Henry to know about”, she probably would set out to destroy it. I know if something were to put my plans/perfect world in danger, I’d try to destroy it.

Wouldn’t he just take photos of the book if he wanted a copy or make a photocopy with a machine. I mean this is 2012 and even if it is 1983 instead he could still take photos.
But, if you’ve got someone who is bent on destroying the book (For instance, Regina), making a second true duplicate and sending her off on the trail of what she believes to be the real book and letting her destroy it. Meanwhile the real one is safe.
He has his typewriter, which to me means he can change/add things as he sees fit and. Taking a photo of something that you’re trying to duplicate isn’t the best way because in photos, you look certain details. With having the real thing, you could take even a loupe to the book and see the smallest crease in the spine. If I were going to duplicate something, I’d rather have the original on hand to help with the process.

No, I don’t get it. xD Sorry.
You mean (in this example) that Kind Midas’ heart would be more valuable than Cinderella’s? And the really important ones have keys?
There weren’t any keyholes in that vault with the hearts. At least not as far as I can remember.Yes, that’s what I meant. I’d have to go back and watch the episode again, but there very well could be certain boxes that have locks on them. If I recall, we didn’t get a full pan across the boxes, and as big as the vault is, there could be some in there. I don’t know. Guess we’ll see.
February 20, 2012 at 3:39 pm in reply to: Was the book damaged when they tore down the castle? #137424indyandmarionParticipantHmm. Who he is in FTL remains a mystery, obviously. (I say he might be connected to Rumple, but is against him?)
I believe that he is here to protect the book. That he ultimately is working on the good side. Knowing now that he has the ability to fix the book, maybe he has created a back up? I feel that the book will be destroyed, for good, by the season’s end. So when he had the book, he created a duplicate. I’m not sure if that will effect things in using a duplicate though.
indyandmarionParticipantThere certainly were a lot of keys on that ring. The one she used very well could have been a Skeleton Key. Basically, a key that opens every door. A lot of old Bed and Breakfasts used them, made things simple for clean up.
I think that a good majority of those keys open various boxes in the vault where she had the Sheriff’s heart. One key might open a “high level” character’s box (For example, if King Midas’s heart was Box B) a key would be needed to open it as opposed to not needing a key for someone like Cinderella’s heart in box F. Make sense?
indyandmarionParticipantHello everyone, new to the forum and loving the podcast.
A few notes I have about the ending scenes.
1. The car crashing. We know that anyone who tries to leave, ends up in some odd vehicle malfunction. But after the other episode with Sydney, is it possible to consider he is behind the vehicle with Kathyrn crashing? (After all, he did reveal that he messed with the brakes on the car when he was with Emma, later in the episode to Regina).
2. This kind of goes against my previous thought. But this also touches on what Mia said above. We’re starting to see that Regina/Gold either remember, or know, who they are in the other “reality”. They both (I assume) have the power to send people to “our” world (Given that when Rumple “transformed Gaston into the Rose, the purple smoke appeared. To me that means that Rumple had the power to send him to “our” reality.), is it possible that Regina/Gold can REVERSE that? I get that Regina was burning the letter as a sign of trying to end this debacle in town, but is it possible that in doing this, she transported Kathryn back to the “other” reality?
