I always had the impression from Rumple that he recognized Emma when he interacted with her in the first season. I know he had her name and knew she was the saviour that way, but its possible he knew who she was because he recognized her from the past as well.
The storyline could be based on the Novikov self-consistency principle where you can’t actually go back in time and change anything that would change the future as your changing the future would change the circumstances which allowed you to travel through time in the first place.
I think if Rumple had met Emma in the past he wouldn’t have necessarily said anything to anyone. Being able to see the future I think he would understand that messing with time is complex.
[adrotate group="5"]jenParticipantCouldn’t it be Abigail and Fredrick’s wedding or engagement? It would make sense that they would invite David as he helped ungold Frederick and it would explain why King George isn’t there.
jenParticipantIs it possible Emma and Hook have gone to get Dorothy? If the group has figured out that maybe Dorothy is able to help destroy Zelena they might have sent Emma to find her.
As for the necklace, I think its a flashback. Glinda said previously that she gave Zelena the necklace to store her magic. So if the sneak peek with DG is when Glinda and Zelena just became friends maybe the necklace is clear because Zelena hasn’t stored her magic in it yet. Her magic always seems to be green ie. with the cursed potion and when she disappears and what not.
I totally misread what you guys were saying about the necklace and Zelena’s skin.
jenParticipantMaybe what Hook is hiding from Emma is that he knows exactly what’s going on and who the WWW is. I can see him making a deal with the WWW to get back to Emma. It would also explain how he was able to get back to the NYC and why he wasn’t cursed.
The hooded figure with the claws could be a couple of flying monkeys. One standing on the other. But because this is OUAT, they’re wearing a hooded robe instead of a trench coat.
jenParticipantI think the Rapunzel story line could be the last year in the EF and in Charming’s past. If her hair is magic they could be looking for her in order to get a piece for the potion that Hook gives Emma. Charming could have helped her previously and just asks her for a piece.

What if Rumple, Regina and/or Emma try to stop the curse when Pan is casting it and it goes awry? If the spell or magic they are trying to use backfires or goes wonky I think that would be able to explain some of the theories everyone has been putting forward. Hook could be in two places because he has been split in two due to the misspell. It could also explain why Emma and Henry ended up somewhere else with no memories of their lives and why those in EF know whats going on and decide to look for Emma and Henry. Or why time is working backwards.
jenParticipantI don’t think Snow or Charming will end up killing Medusa. I’m thinking something goes wrong and they not only end up with EQ as an enemy but Medusa as well. Rebecca Mader is supposed to be playing the villain for the second half of the season, it would make sense if it were as Medusa. This episode could be an introduction to the character setting up for following episodes.
jenParticipantI don’t think Rumple underestimated Regina, I think he was right about her not being able to defeat Pan, after all she did fail to save Henry. Peter Pan wasn’t defeated he has the heart of the truest believer which was his goal all along. It remains to be seen who will take him down so to speak, but I agree, that I think Rumple will be the one to do it.
jenParticipantI’m thinking GOAT takes Henry to the EF meanwhile everyone heads to NL which is where Neal has gone. I know everyone thinks Neal is dead and I believe that even if they thought he was alive they would go searching for Henry before looking for Neal. But I think they head to NL out of necessity. From what we have seen there doesn’t seem to be any way at the moment to get from our world to the EF. However, we have seen that it is possible to get from our world to NL and it has been hinted at and I strongly believe there is a way to get from NL to the EF. If the main cast doesn’t have a magic bean in their possession how are they going to look for Henry? If Hook knows how to get to NL from our world, he would be able to get them there on his boat. Once in NL they would search for a way to get to EF at which point they find MAP and Neal. Since at this point Mulan and Aurora have found out how to get from EF to NL they would know the way back so they can search for Henry. I also like this because I think there is something else to the prophecy that the boy who leads Rumple to his son will be his undoing. Is it possible Henry isn’t the boy? Maybe it’s a lost boy leading Rumple to his supposedly deceased son in NL? I don’t think this would necessarily all happen in the finale, but I think it could be where they’re headed.

Maybe Rumple sends Henry to Neverland because he’s becoming good. Like, he originally plans to just kill Henry, to prevent his “undoing,” but then at the last minute he realizes he can’t and sends him away, both to protect himself from Henry and Henry from himself.Maybe Rumple sees Tamara and Owen taking Henry or is present when Henry is taken by them and doesn’t do anything to stop it seeing it as a solution to his problem. Even if Belle were there he could say he couldn’t do anything to stop Henry from being taken. He could go through the motions of “helping” the others find Henry but actually be hindering the search. It would definitely be a game changer for his relationship with Bae if Bae were to find out.
Another similar scenario could be that Rumple doesn’t stop Tamara and Owen from taking Henry. Belle is with him and of course insists that they tell the others so they can set up some sort of search party. They split up to look for Henry, Bae ends up in danger and of course Rumple is upset. Rumple would have to save Bae and in the process has to save Henry. Rumple saves the day by putting his life at risk but saving both Bae and Henry. Which would certainly be a game changer in his relationship with Bae. Lots of holes in this scenario though.
