She teases the Rumbelle moment that everyone else has already teased, and that it is glorious, scary and poignant. Sets up a lot for Rumple’s upcoming character arc. This is a lengthy scene, and it is longer than the Rumbelle moment in The Miller’s Daughter.
Scary and poignant? Belle pops up on the island and tells Rumple that she’s pregnant. 😛 No, I really don’t believe this at all, but I can guarantee it’s already going around tumblr. And Eddy & Adam wouldn’t be perverse enough to have Emilie on an island and pregnant once again. Or would they? 👿

I’m not an Evil Regal ship, either, but I fully support Regal Hood (I like that name better). I think Regina and Robin could be good for each other. If Robin ends up being a widower I think they’ll both be coming from a place of previously loving deeply. I do imagine neither may be open to the possibility of a relationship in the beginning. I picture their relationship to begin much like Phee outlined, a sniping contentious affair. I can imagine both feeling guilty over developing real feelings for someone other than their true love. It also could start out as purely physical, bit one feelings start to intrude either or both looking to flee.
Whatever the story line, I bet it will be an interesting one. And I expect and demand many snarky comments from Rumplestiltskin

Okay, I have a bit of a dilemma. On Tumblr, I follow a CSer. Don’t know how it happened but she’s probably a Rumbelle fan and she follows me. I know I should just unfollow, but I feel really guilty doing it. But then I do post SwanFire stuff and it seems to only fuel the fire of feuding between the ships. Maybe I should just click “unfollow”.
She also posted and it showed up on my dash a post about how CSers are laughing about how SwanFire fans are latching onto thin air with the 8:15 stuff. They said that Henry’s birth was actually anti-SF. Really, we are the ones grasping at straws? I usually don’t say anything bad about CSers but when it comes onto my dash and I don’t seek it out I have to complain about it somewhere. Occasionally I do get stuff and I hate it because 90% of it is Neal-bashing despite what 90% of CS fans claim they don’t do. So who is actually doing all this bashing then that shows up everywhere? Do your bashing, just don’t come into SwanFire

Okay, I had no idea what you all were talking about with her encountering someone because I remembered nothing of it in the show. Then I saw Angie’s post so I decided to replay my copy with the caption on and this is exactly what she says:
Aurora: It’s worse than I feared. I couldn’t make contact. I wish I could be more help. I-I fear no one can.
So she doesn’t make contact with anyone.

I’m definitely in the camp that Peter Pan planted the seer to get to Rumple. Like Neal said, there are no coincidences. So there is no way that Rumple just randomly was assigned to guard the seer who set everything in motion.
Do I think Rumple can change is destiny? Absolutely, because what he sees as his destiny probably isn’t what is his destiny actually is. It’s what he thinks it is. His poster reminds me a bit of the movie “A Knight’s Tale” where William tries to “change his stars”. You’re set off on this path in life, but how many people actually swerve from their place and forge a new way?
What’s also interesting about Rumple’s destiny and his visions is we never get a hint that he ever predicted Belle and the situation with her. He knew about Regina and Emma and everything else. But we never get a hint that he ever foresaw anything regarding Belle. We do know that his seeing abilities failed him in FTL when she was held prisoner. He was convinced she was dead. He didn’t even question Regina. Just wallowed in his grief. So his seeing abilities aren’t as all encompassing as he believes.

I listen to that darn map nearly every day. It weasels itself into your brain until you find yourself singing it hours later while walking through the grocery store.
Actually this is sort of playing back into “Jake and the Neverland Pirates”. Don’t they also have a map that they always consult?

All this shadow talk reminds me of a radio program my dad used to quote all the time. The main tagline was: Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men? The Shadow knows!

I understand your worry about your favorite character. I think we will see that not everyone gets a happy ending, e.g. Graham suffering and killed and Tamara not get her redemption. Or maybe their happy ending isn’t what we as fans envision for them.
And then there is a perverse part of me that revels in movies where the guy doesn’t get the girl in the end. 👿

I thought it would be interesting to revisit this thread considering the climate of shippers right now. Remember, no ship names. This isn’t a thread to convince me to jump ship and join yours. Just state your opinions.
I haven’t changed mine. I won’t quit if my ships don’t sail. I trust Eddy and Adam to tell a good story and if that involves the way I want the story to go all the better. But if they have a different vision at least there is the ride to look forward to.
