I think his name will be something that sounds unthreatening.
I know a lot of people want his name to be Nicholas because of his character on SGU. It’s almost to the point that they’ve waited so long that it’s hard to picture him with any name. But I do wonder if they’ll give him the name “Adam”. It’s a nice normal name and was the little known name of the Beast in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. They used Belle so maybe they’ll use Adam.
If they do end up using Adam, they’ll have to have a character named Eddy so our creators are equally represented. 😆

Then Eddy and Adam shouldn’t have told us to “keep watching”. The would have answered differently. I know most people don’t think Regina gave him a name, but until they flat out tell us he doesn’t have one, I’m going to keep watching and hoping they reveal it.

ParticipantI just hope we finally find out Mr. Gold’s first name. Eddy and Adam have said “keep watching” for both Charming and Gold and hopefully we’ll finally have an answer. I’m just waiting for a flight attendant or a security guard to look at his ID and casually say, “Thank you *InsertFirstNameHere* Gold, I hope you have a good flight.” 😆

ParticipantIt’s amazing how obtuse people can be. What was the purpose of devoting a whole show to Neal and Emma if she just ended up getting pregnant by a prison guard? Really. If logic and common sense weren’t enough, I guess we can’t trust Eddy and Adam when they confirm Neal is Henry’s father. Why should they know anything? They just create the plot and are the showrunners. Sometimes I dislike certain factions of fandom.
Oh, that definitely wasn’t their first time together in that hotel room. I’m not even sure that was where Henry was conceived. The purpose of the hotel scene was to show us their willingness to settle down and start a new life together…a counterpoint to what really happened. It emphasized that their dreams never did come true and fate often has its own plans. 🙁

ParticipantEddy and Adam said “dead is dead”. I would probably want to quit the show if they somehow brought him back from the dead. He’d have to be some kind of monster like Daniel. I understand he has fans, but let Graham rest in peace.
That saying, it doesn’t mean we’ll never see Graham again. Eddy and Adam did say that we’d get Storybrooke flashbacks from when the curse was in effect before Emma or even Henry arrived. Plus, he’s still the Huntsman in FTL flashbacks, so he’s dead, but not really gone.
I’m thinking the “Welcome to Storybrooke” may be how Henry arrived in town as a newborn to be adopted by Regina. I really want to see that happening.

ParticipantOkay, Emma would be NO relation to Rumple no matter what happens. He would be her son’s grandfather and that’s it. Not even father-in-law as her and Neal were never married.
Henry’s
Bioligical Family:Mother:
Emma SwanHenry’s Maternal Grandparents:
Prince Charming (son of Ruth, short-term fake son of King George)
Snow White (daughter of King Leopold, stepdaughter of Regina)Father:
Neal CassidyHenry’s Paternal Grandparents:
Rumplestiltskin
MilahHenry’s
Adoptive Family:Mother:
Regina Mills (aka Evil Queen)Maternal Grandparents:
Cora (aka Queen of Hearts)
Henry (aka in fandom as Henry Sr.)This is all dependant on Neal being Bae for the Rumplestiltskin side of the family.
Regina would be:
- Snow’s stepmother, Emma’s step-grandmother, Henry’s step-great grandmother and adoptive mother. None of them blood related.
If by some wild chance that Rumple is her father, then she would be blood related to Neal, who would be her brother and would make her Henry’s biological aunt. Cora would be nothing to Henry blood-wise.
Rumple would be:
- Neal’s father, Henry’s grandfather.
If he’s Regina’s biological father, then that would be just that…Regina’s biological father.
Not technically Emma’s father-in-law or in-laws with the Charmings as they were never married. However, they would be co-grandparents to Henry.
Not really that complicated. I have a much more complicated family tree that I don’t even try to explain to people. In a nutshell, my grandfather married my grandmother and then all his siblings married all of her siblings. Sort of the uniting of two different families.

I think that he will have magic upon leaving storybrooke. And didn’t he heal belle over the line? 😉 I’m not 100% on that one, but yeah, I think that he will have magic.
No, he placed her back over the line into Storybrooke at the end of “The Outsider” right after she was shot and then he conjured up his fire ball to throw at Hook. Then when the car came down the road, he rolled her to the side of the road, but not back over the line. Then in “In the Name of the Brother” it opens with them clearly back on the Storybrooke side of the line. I just rewatched it just to make sure. 😉
As for Emma, there’s no way she’s trying to devise a way to kill Gold. I just can’t see it in her. She already knows as evidenced by her talk with Hook how much Belle means to him, so she’s going to know that he’s a man who’s hurting. Plus, I didn’t take the threat as just against the Charming family. I took it that he meant the whole town. I can see him just wanting to decimate the whole of Storybrooke if something happened to her after all they’ve been through.

I’m still entertaining the idea that Regina is onto her, at least so far as knowing that she’s not genuinely helping her get Henry back, so she’s playing along to lull Cora into a false sense of security, until the moment when she can take her out once and for all. I’d have a whole new respect for Regina if she pulled a stunt like that.
This would make me consider becoming an Evil Regal. But I really don’t think Regina has it in her. She’s too weak around her mother to pull it off. But I, too, would respect her a whole lot more.

I don’t know about doctors or teachers, but I know lawyers have to do CLE’s (continuing legal education) credits every year–so does Gold’s name just suddenly appear on records of CLE classes?
I’m a certified teacher and in my state you have to have 180 credit hours of continuing education every five years or your certificate becomes inactive. All states have similar requirements but it varies state by state.
I just take it that magic affects the everyday little things about town. What I did find interesting is that Whale is a doctor in both worlds, but Doc, who delivered Emma and was only a doctor because it said so on his ax, isn’t in our world, thank goodness. Regina changed things about these people, but buried deep inside, they were the same people. It’s just that their most feared or worst personality traits were amplified because of the curse. Whale remained a doctor, Archie stayed the conscience and still guided people, Leroy remained grumpy, and the fairies were still a kept apart from everyday life of the town.
Magic worked outside of Storybrooke, too. Don’t forget that August felt his body changing when he was in Phuket, some force brought Emma and Neal together, and somehow Gold, without his memories, obtained Henry for Regina. There is some kind of magical force outside of Storybrooke that is affecting everyone associated with the curse. If they delve further into the Peter Pan mythos, then there is also proof magic has been used our world when Peter visited Wendy and the Darlings. He was able to jump between worlds. Alice is another example. Falling down the rabbit hole would be a portal into another world.
This might be “A Land Without Magic” but that doesn’t mean that magic has never come visiting before.

ParticipantHehe. Henry is apparently his parents’ son. They’re just a family of thieves. David is about the most law abiding one of the bunch and even he pretended to be prince 😆
Henry’s incorrigible now, just imagine when he gets into his rebellious teenage years.
