ParticipantI wrote this on another thread, but a few days ago, I saw on tumblr that someone wrote they went to a convention and Tony Amendola, Geppetto, was there. He was talking on the show and made the comment that Mulan was a villian. I don’t know if this is true or not, but it was interesting.

Only on this show would that sentence make total sense. 😆

ParticipantI just got an idea! Wasn’t MM supposed to be able to find a way to communicate to David between worlds in an upcoming episode? What if it’s somehow connected through the compasses. Emma’s going after one in the Enchanted Forest, one exists in Storybrooke. That can’t be a coincidence. If it’s not the same compass then maybe they’re “brothers”. Connected in some way. Sort of how in HP the way Harry communicates with the mirrors.
My new cold medicine is making me theory obsessed today. Or it’s just made me loopy. 😆

ParticipantThe compass pointed North at the end when the dad took the kids. Maybe now that magic is in Storybrooke, the compass will work once again.
Oh, oh, I just got an idea. I’m going to post it on “The Magical Compass” thread.

ParticipantBut do we know if they find the compass. They’re going after it, but what if after they get up to the top of the beanstalk it’s not there.
The compass in “True North” started to point North when their dad showed up at the end, so I could see, if there is another one in the Enchanted Forest, it pointing to your heart’s desire when you hold it.

ParticipantI hope he has no idea about Henry, also. I just can’t see any reason, even inheriting cowardly genes from Rumple, that he’d abandon his child. I’ll be disappointed in the writers if they do that. Even Rumple, like you guys have mentioned, stepped up and took care of his son. How many men would have done that in the environment Bae was raised in?
I do think, and hope the writers remember her talking about him, that Emma was telling the truth when she told Regina that the father had no idea about Henry and wouldn’t be a problem. I also think there was a seed of truth in what Emma told MM in “True North”.
Speaking of “True North”, do you think it’s just a coincidence that the episode mentioned both Henry’s father and a compass and here we are in “Tallahassee” with Henry’s father appearing in some version and Emma looking for a magical compass? Or is it just me? I know that compass of Hansel and Gretel will come back somehow. It just has to, even if it is broken. Maybe it didn’t work because magic wasn’t in Storybrooke at the time if it is indeed magical.

ParticipantMan, I love this guy already. I love the parallel with Henry popping up from the backseat of the Bug. I’ve really become Bae obsessed lately. I’ve posted two Bae stories in two days. Thank goodness it seems like my one story fits in with this sneak peek perfectly. At least for right now.
It’s so great to see JMo have such great chemistry with MR-J. There’s a spark there that wasn’t there with August or even what little we’ve seen of Hook, although I do think they’ll try a Hook/Emma thing for awhile. With August it does seem brotherly so I could never see them together. These two I can see eventually procreating. 😆
With all the theories running around, I love the one that he’s an undercover cop. I could see him being a vice cop. That is so unexpected. We all expected him to be the one who drug Emma into thievery, but what if he was on job and wasn’t able to help her. But I’ve got an open mind. What I do know is that once he shows up in Storybrooke it’s going to be fireworks galore when Emma sees him hanging around town. Especially after he finds out about Henry. Angst will abound.

ParticipantI did read on tumblr that someone was at a convention with Tony Amendola, Geppeto, and he said that Mulan was supposed to be a villian. I do wonder now if that little slip is true or not. That would be a twist for sure.

ParticipantIf Bae is Henry’s father, I can’t wait to see Emma’s face when she finds out Gold is Henry’s grandpa. That will be an amazing scene. The only thing greater will be when Regina finds out.
I do wonder how Gold would react to all of this. He’s actually kind of nice to Henry in season one…the only person he’s actually nice to without being sarcastic or having an agenda. I’m hoping he starts to recognize mannerisms that Bae had as a child, but that’s just wishful thinking. Maybe some offhand comment from Belle about Henry will trigger something. But like I said, that’s not going to happen.
I do hope Henry’s dad shows up in Storybrooke before Emma comes back. I can imagine him seeing the Bug, hearing the name Emma scattered around town, maybe from Henry, and putting everything together. There are going to be major fireworks, and not the romantic kind, when Emma and her baby-daddy meet up once again. I can’t wait! I’m a Rumbelle fan, but I’m beginning to have Swanfire take over in my obsession. 😎

ParticipantThey don’t need the rights since the book is public domain. The problem comes that they can’t use the “ruby slippers” because MGM created them. In the original story, they were silver shoes. If you buy any merchandise based off the books, which they do sell, usually in stores like Hallmark or Macy’s, they have Dorothy with the silver shoes and based off the original illustrations. Any change MGM made from the original I think they’d have to get rights for, but if they base it off the original, then all is fine.
