I have no idea what to expect of Rumple/Gold. He always does what you expect him not to.

“Once Upon a Mattress” is a musical about the Princess and the Pea. Very cute, There was a Disney version years ago that has a young Zooey Deschanel and Matt Morrison (Will on Glee) as the young couple.

Oh, building on that, what if Regina with her use of magic summons Henry’s father to Storybrooke, like you said, to rip Emma and Henry apart. But, lo and behold, the father is Bae and in doing so she’s aided Gold in his goal after all. Of course, then you just wonder why Gold doesn’t summon Bae himself. Gah, we better not have to wait another season for Bae, I’m eager to see him as an adult.

I think if Bae comes to Storybrooke and turns out to be Henry’s father, then Henry’s going to want to get to know him. I’m of the opinon that Bae isn’t evil. He may be brooding, distrustful, bitter, but I don’t think he’ll be evil. I also don’t think it’s going to be a happy reunion with Rumple. What’s the saying…there are always three sides to a story: his side, her side, and the truth. I think this is going to be the case for Emma and Bae.

What’s funny about the Blue Fairy is her wording of “Your magic doesn’t belong here”. Where does it belong? Like mentioned above, it seems like she’s only interested in getting him out of FTL. I wonder why. And we still don’t know what Cinderella’s fairy godmother did to Rumple to make him hate her so much. I know he hates all fairies, but he specifically asked for her whereabouts from King George in exchange for Charming. There’s more to this fairy story than we’ve seen.

I hope we don’t see any of Rumple’s wife. Like Nonny said, I don’t think she’ll really have any purpose to the story. Besides the timelines, it’s just not something I’m interested in having investigated further.

I was looking on TV Guide channel and it looks like no summer reruns, at least for June. This week it’s the Billboard Awards, and then next week it’s the new show Duets, and the following week it’s something else. I really wanted reruns because I’m missing the “Pilot”, “The Thing You Love Most”, and “That Still Small Voice” from my recordings.
In the meantime, I think I’ll watch The Princess Bride tonight. Nothing else looks good and I need my fairytale fix.

But MM/Snow wasn’t an angel, either. It was a long term thing, but she did have a one-off with Dr. Whale. I wonder if she’ll tell him.
Okay, I just read the Rumple/Gold compendium and something stood out…Charming and Rumple. One of the posts mentioned that Charming was the only one, besides Belle, to really talk to him. I never thought of that, but it’s true. All they’re interactions have an undercurrent of…I don’t know…that they could potentially be friends or at least tolerate each other if the situation called for it. I know he’s “invested in his future” but Rumple seems to somewhat like Charming, like a grudging type of respect. Hopefully, Charming will not be gunning first thing to recapture Rumple/Gold like he was in FTL.

I wonder if when the creators were planning the series if they set down and said, “Hey, we’ve got this show about Snow White and the Evil Queen’s vengence against her, and the savior that will break the curse. But that’s not what the show is really about.” And then sat out and plotted all of Rumplestiltskin’s stories and motives and then wrote the whole show around it. Because at the heart of the show, he’s really what this show is all about…the curse, the deals, true love. Everything comes back to him one way or another, even when you don’t think he’s involved he is somewhere down the line.

Well, my obvious first choice would be with Gold. That would be great, but something in me picked Emma and MM. It seems like the apartment for lost souls who need a home. However, now that MM remembers she has a husband I think he’ll be moving in or she’ll be moving out, or something. And I can’t see Henry wanting to live with Regina, no matter that the law says that she’s his legal guardian.
Looks like we might have a game of musical chairs of homes. Everyone might be up and moving around. Maybe she’ll be better off at Gold’s.
