JosephineParticipant
I was going to pick Snow, but then switched to Mary Margeret. Yes, they’re the same person, but MM’s had 28 years as being a teacher in Storybrooke, even if she can’t remember them. As a teacher myself, all that experience has to be able to creep in somewhere when dealing with kids.

JosephineParticipantYou must have some libations, too. They do an awful lot of drinking at Granny’s for it being a diner.

JosephineParticipantI think we’re going to see Bae as an adult. No real proof, but it just seems to have so much more potential for storytelling. I know a lot of people think that Mother Superior/Blue Fairy was the one to help August, but I think he has some connection to Bae. I can’t help thinking he knows him and is keeping quiet right now.

JosephineParticipantI haven’t seen the movie, but I have to comment on Captain America. I didn’t find him attractive at all, even though he’s supposed to be a pretty boy, but I saw Chris Evans in an interview with darker buzzed hair and scruffy beard and he shot way up on the hot scale for me. Much, much better than the Captain America look. 😉

I really don’t think it would take that long for Emma to do her hair. I don’t see why people see that as an issue.
I guess it depends on what type of hair you have. If mine was the length of Emma’s, it would take a miracle to get even a wave to stay. My hair is stick straight with no curl or even wave to it. And it’s resistant to any type of curl. I’m the type that even with hot rollers my hair is totally straight ten minutes after they’re out. On the flip side, I don’t even need to own a flat iron. All I have to do is run a brush through it. Of course, you want what you don’t have. I dream of having a head full of ringlets and just have to accept it’s never going to happen. In fact, I’m currently in love with Merida’s wild mess of curls in the upcoming Disney movie Brave. Alas, it will never be.
I was watching “The Shepherd” the other day and just kept thinking what a good haircut does to a guy. That wig made Charming look horrible, but his real hair is fabulous.

JosephineParticipantHehe, I googled it last night and turns out I’m not the only one who thought they were the same. I did read a story on why Regina has a similar ring. I don’t know if it’s true, but it’s something about Lana wanting Regina to wear an emerald and then afterwards found out that Snow’s ring is similar, only hers is peridot. They let it remain even though they’re similar.

JosephineParticipantI asked for a Mary Margaret pixie last month and ended up with a Regina do. 😈 Actually it turned out more of a combination between the two with it looking more like a version of Regina’s when it was shorter, only even shorter. I had shoulder-length hair and as I was sitting there I was thinking, “oh, that’s an awful lot of hair coming off.” It’s been a month and now I remember why I don’t wear really short hair…I like the feel of it and get lots of compliments, but my hair is baby fine and grows really fast and I’d have to get it cut at least every three weeks to maintain a short style. So I’m growing it out into an ear length “louise brooks bob”.
I, too, get annoyed sometimes with Emma’s hair. I think it’s the extensions that are too much. When her hair is all princessy I keep about how much time she has to sit in the chair to get it to look like that. I love, love, love Mary Margaret’s hair. though. I know people make fun of her ears sticking out and say she looks like a boy, but I think it’s adorable on her.

JosephineParticipantAre you sure? Because in that episode it focuses in on that ring on her finger and then David comes into the room and talks to her about MM. I’m going to have to post side by side screen shots because it looks like the identical ring.

JosephineParticipantDid anyone realize that MM does not have her ring? In “Heart of Darkness”, Regina was sitting peeling an apple and it was plain as day on her finger. Since true love follows the ring, does that mean anything now that Regina has it? Will MM get her ring back?

JosephineParticipantoh, I like the idea, too, of hoarding magic. Before, I always thought that Gold’s shop was full of objects so out-priced that nobody would want to buy them, therefore, he can keep them like a hoarder. But Henry did buy the bell for MM from him. And we have seen him in previous episodes working on objects and doing something to them. Didn’t Regina make a comment about “whatever you do here all day”. If so, he’s got enough magic to travel the world search for Bae.
But on that theory, he’d only be extracting the magic post-Emma coming to Storybrooke because the creators confirmed he didn’t have any memories until hearing her name. If that’s what he’s doing he’s been really busy in his office these past couple months. Maybe all that stuff that August saw in his office hasn’t been processed, yet.
