JosephineParticipant
I think she took Belle on her journey back to her father’s, not immediately after, but along the way. I imagine she was on her journey home when she stopped at the pub in “Dreamy”. I think she was snatched afterward. We already imagine she would be leary of Regina if she met her again, so she was probably tricked somehow. I don’t believe she ever even made it back to her father. Or maybe she did make it back to her father and Regina made a deal with him. Somehow I feel that she was nabbed in EF, not in Storybrooke.

JosephineParticipantI thought the elevator was to the mines, also. But who knows now where it really is. Hmmm…maybe it’s in the closed up library. We’ve never seen inside there. 😆
I fear that the produces are overexaggerating the effect of the finale and we’ll be a tiny bit disappointed. They keep saying we’ll be “blown away” and I think they mean literally. We see pictures of wind blowing all over for the finale…Regina in the hospital, Granny and Red outside, MM and David after they embrace. Maybe it is the curse breaking.

JosephineParticipantI’m sticking with Rumple writing the book. Belle is a good choice, but I truly believe that Regina nabbed Belle soon after she left Rumple. Why would Regina make up that whole story to him if she didn’t have her hostage somewhere already. I don’t believe a word she said to Rumple. So if she had Belle already in custody when the curse took effect then Regina kept her. If Belle has retained her EF memories the reason would probably be that Regina had no need of “writing” her a story, she had her prisoner already with no chance of parole. And if that’s the case I don’t see Belle writing the story from inside her little cell. Of course, that’s all dependent on Belle being Regina’s prisoner since after she talked to Grumpy in the pub following her flee from Rumple.
Yikes, this is confusing. I haven’t been this tied up in conspiracies and intricate details since the good old days of Harry Potter.

JosephineParticipantI hope Abigail is not Sleeping Beauty. But that’s just because Abigail isn’t my favorite and Sleeping Beauty is my all-time favorite. As a little girl, I fell in love with Aurora in her blue dress (no pink for me 😀 ) and Prince Phillip was probably one of my first crushes. He was just the best Disney prince. And in the Disney version, Maleficent is the most bad-*** evil character there ever was. The only one to scare me almost as much was Cruella DeVille. I somehow didn’t buy her laissez-faire attitude to Regina in the beginning of the series when we saw her. She was just so much more evil than Snow White’s queen in the movies. Maybe with her coming back we’ll see a new direction for season two.
I just have high hopes for Phillip and Aurora. They made me love Snow and Charming, when I didn’t care for them in the Disney movie. Or it will be the opposite and I’ll hate them in the show. Who knows.

JosephineParticipantYou’re not the only one, obisgirl. I just don’t see this magical love that Emma had for Graham. I think they had more friendship and a connection about the curse, but I don’t think she was really in love with him or he with her. He was cursed and confused and she was there. I actually can’t see Emma being in love with anyone at this point in her life. She has some things she has to work out, like Henry and saving the world type stuff, plus all the baggage she brings from her relationship with Henry’s father and her time in the foster care system. She’s the one who should be having sessions on Archie’s couch. So right now I don’t ship her with anyone.

JosephineParticipantWhat’s been bothering me since this last episode is Gold’s little speech about Regina planning a trip of her own because when the townspeople find out who she is they’re going to be out for her. Well, isn’t the same thing true for Gold? Shouldn’t he be worried. Sure, we love him and know he’s redeemable, but the last place he was in Storybrooke was in the dungeon jail. I’m worried they’ll try to lock him up again. I know he’s planning a trip, but what if he can’t leave town? Will that promise from Emma come into effect, or will his help in the MM affair steer the way into them not crucifying him. Plus, the townspeople are all scared of him anyway. What’s to say they won’t revolt against him.
On a side note, and totally off-topic, Eternal Flame, everytime I see your name I start singing the Bangles song. I can’t get it out of my head now.

JosephineParticipantI still think Rumple wrote the book. He has stated repeatedly that he’s invested in their futures. He created the curse. He’s the grand puppetmaster, that we know of so far. And as others have stated, I don’t think he’s mentioned in the book at all, even though he’s involved in almost all of the stories. Why, if the BF wrote the book, would she leave Rumple out of the book?

There are a couple of characters who had unhappy endings in the book – Belle for one.
Belle’s story was never in the book. I went back and watched the beginning of “Skin Deep” and it goes directly into the EF story and then to Storybrooke where Gold is dealing with Moe. There is no reference to the book that I can find. In fact, I don’t think Rumplestiltskin is in the book at all. That’s one reason Henry has no idea who Gold is in Storybrooke.

As for ripping out the end of the storybook, they don’t know she knows. Of course, Emma doesn’t know anything, or rather doesn’t want to know. I think she is believing, but is scared to death to have some form of responsibility placed on her. That girl is almost more screwed up than Regina.

Plus, I didn’t remember that Regina even knew about the savior breaking the curse. When did she get told that bit of information. I remember Rumple telling them in the dungeon about the out-clause, but I don’t remember Regina being informed of it.
I really hope the replay the entire season starting with the pilot after the season finale. I have most of them taped, but I’m missing the first few episodes. I really need to rewatch that pilot.
