Rumple/Belle wish list
1. Since she will be in SB and the clock tower is damaged, hoping Belle will just move back into Rumple’s house. We’d get to see more of Rumple’s house. Maybe she can find the mirror there.
2. While in SB, hope she interacts more with Grumpy and maybe Dr. Whale. I don’t think Whale is working with GOAT/home office. But with Whale being a man of science, maybe he can help Belle figure out how these outsiders found a way to kill magic.
3. Love the mirror idea that has been mentioned before. Following Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, maybe Belle sees in the mirror that Rumple is in trouble and decides she needs to go to him to help.
4. Hopefully, dwarves and Anton will eventually get more magic beans to grow. Then Belle uses a portal to try to get to Rumple.
5. An interesting twist that I’d like to see, even though it would delay an ultimate Rumbelle reunion: when using the bean portal, because she does not know where Rumple actually is, she ends up in FTL. There she meets up with Philip/Mulan/Aurora plus Bae. This would give bonding time for Belle and Bae. He will see that she is not really Lacey and that she actually is a good influence on his Papa. Belle and Bae team up, realize they need to get to NL. They go to NL, help save everyone including Rumple. Then we get a beautiful Rumbelle reunion as well as Nealfire!🙂

[adrotate group="5"]I also was disappointed to see Belle left behind. But the only rationalization is that Gold/Rumplestiltskin does not trust Blue Fairy but he DOES trust Belle.
Also, might be interesting to see Belle come to find magic, in some cases, may be beneficial. If she does get the cloaking spell to work, will she start becoming more interested in magic? She could certainly learn more by reading from her books. Especially after spending time as Lacey, wonder if Belle might see the appeal if magic once she has dabbled in it?
But I certainly do hope it is not too long into S3 for Rumbelle reunion. Anton and the 7 dwarves could keep working on their bean crops to get another magic bean for a new portal. Or maybe Rumbelle did have implied intimacy at some point while together in SB. Would love that Belle realizes she is pregnant while Rumple is away. Maybe then Rumple will foresee the future and realize he MUST get back to Belle.
Sometimes the numbers don’t change no matter how much I click, sometimes the numbers actually drop back down. Very frustrating…but I keep clicking.

I think you are right, it is a dream sequence. Looking carefully at the birthday party stills, Mr. Gold does NOT have his cane in his hand in any of the shots. In the Belle dream sequence back when she dreams about Gold giving her a necklace, then kisses him and Grumpy comes into the shop (I think it was “The Crocodile”), if you look closely, Gold never has his cane in his hand then either.

Tamara had to get her “things”. Hmmm…sounds like Cora who needed her “things”. Maybe she has Neal/Bae’s heart in a box packed in her trunk. (<
Going out on a limb here, but…I think it’s Rumple playing Cora.
In the peak with Cora and Rumple, he is in his over-the-top bravado mode. Very similar to when Rumple was setting up Regina with help from Dr. Frankenstein and Mad Hatter.
Yes, he tells her he could only give her darkness, but I suspect he is only manipulating Cora into still marrying Prince Henry even if she doesn’t truly love him.
In contrast, back in Skin Deep, Rumple’s interactions with Belle as they were getting to know each other were more genuine and tender, until he became convinced it was a trick…as he had once tricked Cora.
Why would he want Cora to marry Prince Henry without love? Because he needed Regina. Maybe he figured Cora would be more likely to part with her daughter if she was not the product of true love.
