From there it might tick up slightly because the hype for the finale is happening. However, everyone might want to prepare to see a 1.0 by seasons end. If it goes below that…well, we already have a S6 but if it goes below a 1.0, I’d say we’re getting a 12 episode S6, 6 episodes in the fall and 6 in the spring.

If we get an abbreviated Season 6, which I still am not sure will happen, I see it being 13 episodes like with Wonderland. So 8 in the Fall, and perhaps the final 5 would air during the Winter hiatus as opposed to the Spring. The issue here is that ABC still needs to schedule this out, in terms of whatever other shows they have to air on Sundays for the Season. They might just op for a full Season for the sake of scheduling, and so that enough loose ends can be tied up. After all, actually finding a replacement for OUAT is easier said than done, considering how most of their attempts at new Sunday shows have failed.

In my mind, Wonderland now occurs after Season 4. Yeah, I know the storm Will is walking through was supposed to be when the Wraith attacked Storybrooke, but that could very easily be retconned now. The final version of “Down the Rabbit Hole” makes no usage of Season 2 footage, nor even mentions the Wraith. In fact, it could easily be the storm the Darkness caused at the end of Season 4 instead. The only inconsistencies I can think of is that Will ends up dating Belle, while in Wonderland Will swore off love after taking out his own heart. He was also effected by the Spell of Shattered Sight, but you could easily argue that Will was just taking advantage of the chaos to pickpocket and get back at Hook. Still, this is one retcon I would gladly welcome, if it means Will retains his happy ending with Anastasia.

Michael said even more in another interview. Again, edited for language:

“I did the spinoff, Wonderland, which was great, man – I enjoyed that, I was in it all the time,” he told Digital Spy.

“But I was quite redundant in Once Upon a Time. I wasn’t really used.”

Socha revealed that the Once writers even apologized to him for not making better use of his character.

“They apologized – they just said that they couldn’t do it,” he said.

“They’ve got a lot of main cast, that the fans are so loyal to and so desperate to hear their stories. So this new dude with no real reason [to be there]… he ain’t important.”

“I understood it, it was just hard being over there [in Vancouver] not doing anything. But I’m not dead, so who knows? They might bring me back… and use me!”

It sounds like it came down to Adam and Eddy biting off more than they could chew. They had plans for Will’s character, but ultimately just couldn’t find the time to fit his story in. After all, 4A had so much screentime devoted to Frozen. 4B was crowded with the Queens of Darkness, evil Rumple, the Author, and then Zelena returning on top of that. It didn’t help that Will had virtually no ties to the main cast, aside from Robin Hood. They tried to pair him off with Belle, and that failed spectacularly.

To think they could have saved us all the trouble had they simply not brought Will over to the main show last Season in the first place. Wonderland ended on a satisfying conclusion, and Will was happily together with Anastasia. There was nothing more that they had to do with his story. Bringing him onto the parent show, and ultimately leaving his story up in the air did not do any favors for anybody, including Michael Socha himself.

So, now I think that Cerberus is guarding Hook, and they’re the reason as to why Hook is all bloody. Either Hook got injured trying to escape, or Cerberus enjoys Hook as his personal chew toy.

Initial ratings are in. We tied our series low with a 1.3 and 4 million viewers. Ouch, this is what happens when you do so little on air promotion, ABC. Also ouch at Sunday night as a whole. The real test will be how fast and how much we go down from here:

I wonder which fairy Rumple might need to summon. The black one or the blue one? I am hoping the Black Fairy.

Rumple was referring to the ferry, the boat that they took to get to the Underworld, not a fairy. Rumple was able to summon it with his blood, because he had been there and had been resurrected.

I still say Rumpel created the dark curse, but it looks like they are going to change that.

They’ve gone back on that before already, as far back as Season 2. In “The Crocodile”, Rumple specifically said that he “found” the curse, not “created” it. Implying that the curse itself was created by somebody else, and Rumple merely found it, and altered it with his own touches. Here is the direct quote:

Baelfire, is his name. After he left, I dedicated myself to finding him. I went down many, many paths. Until I found a curse that could take me to the land where he’d escaped.

Also, remember how Rumple had the Queens of Darkness steal the Dark Curse from the Chernabog in “Darkness on the Edge of Town”?
