Yeah, still feeling that either Emma (as the title seems to suggests) or Regina ends up going to the Underworld as the Mid-Season cliffhanger.

Eh, I’ve given up on that theory. The Ruby, Mulan and Merida adventure seems like it could be its own subplot separated from the Dark Swan stuff. Ruby hasn’t been spotted with the group in Camelot, either. My current theory is that their adventure takes place during Season 3’s missing year, hence why Bex has been spotted in her Wicked Witch outfit recently filming.
I too think its more likely to be Ruby and Mulan, because we honestly don’t know if Merida will stay into the 2nd half of the Season. The Frozen characters left after 4A, so what’s so the same won’t happen to Merida after 5A? Nor do we know how much freedom the writers have with the character. Disney and Pixar may not allow them to give Merida any love interest at all, male or female. From a writer’s perspective, Merida would make a lot of sense, but still I have my doubts based on what I said.

What I find interesting is that they apparently thought of doing Camelot as early as Season 2 or perhaps it was the original plan for Season 3 before Neverland got greenlit?

Nah. Way back during Season 2, when asked about whether Lancelot was really dead or not, Adam and Eddy responded “Why does everyone trust what Cora says?” So I think they’ve always genuinely wanted to bring Lancelot back, and it was all about finding the time to finally do Camelot.
I think it’s likely that they’ve merged Morgana with other characters. Guinevere, being one of them, but also Emma. A dark enchantress with powerful magic trying to take away something that is Arthur’s?
Agreed. They were pretty blunt when they explained why Morgan wouldn’t be appearing. Aspects of her character could be incorporated into others, but we won’t see Morgan herself.

We have to question both why it would be important for Hook to have a flashback in 510 during a Camelot themed arc, and why his name ends up on Excalibur. There could be a connection there.

As you can see, there’s not a significant difference between Live + Same Day compared to C+3.
