I think that’s pretty weird. We all predicted 100th being the 5A finale. I guess it’s not a huge deal but 100 is likely to be less angsty and more fluffy if it’s the 5B premiere
My guess is they want the extra time to work on the 100th episode. Plus, I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re planning to make it a 2 hour episode (paired with 512, of course). This is sorta a longshot, but what if the 100th episode will seriously be that musical episode fans have been demanding for years and that Yvette just happened to bring up again at the panel yesterday?
I wonder, is it possible that Merida it’s the one who taught snow to… Archer things?
That would be a nice way of tying things back to previously established canon. We initially thought that Robin Hood was the one who taught Snow her archery skills, but it turned out that the two never crossed paths until Season 3B.
So…is 5A ending earlier? Is there a two-week break? Is 5B starting earlier? The schedule is going to be fun to figure out.
5A will be 10 episodes and 5B will be 12 episodes. 5A ending a week earlier than last Season would make sense. While I guess 5B will start on March 6th, the week after the Academy Awards like the last 2 Seasons. 5B will either air uninterrupted (including Easter again) with a 2 hour Season finale on May 15th, or they’ll double up 5B’s premiere as well in honor of the 100th episode to avoid Easter.
Don’t believe this was posted, but here’s an Adam and Eddy interview (Edit: Nvm, it was).
Interesting thing they note is that this year, the episodes will be split differently due to the 100th episode. They said it will be 10 episodes for 5A, but 12 episodes for 5B with the 100th episode being the spring premiere.

Welcome to the night before Comic Con! A few reminders/rules about how this works tomorrow if you’ve never joined ONCE podcast for SDCC or if you’ve forgotten.
The OUAT panel is at 10am PST. You will need to do your own conversions for what time that is for you. For EST folks, that’s 1pm.
As we have almost every year in the past, Matt and I will be double teaming to get all the information up here AS IT HAPPENS LIVE. This will mostly include tweets from various sources. Yes, sometimes it will be the same information just said differently/from different people, ect. I understand that everyone wants to post news too, but PLEASE, let’s try not to have a thousand people uploading tweets, ok? Honestly, it drags down the server and last year it actually CRASHED in the middle of the panel resulting in me texting Daniel like a mad woman. It wasn’t pretty.
Your best bet is to just hang out in this thread and refresh every few mins. Then you can scan through what Matt and I have posted in the time since your last refresh. Feel free to comment as you go, of course.
As for videos: yes, they will ALL go here. Please do not create separate threads for any interviews at SDCC.
Interviews can be posted anywhere from a few hours to a week after the fact so this thread will probably be pretty active for awhile. Full panel videos will likely take 24-48 hours, depending on those who shoot them. Most TV sites–TvLine, EW, and the like–get their stuff up *very* quickly.
Hunter and I will be doing a special spoiler podcast some time next week (I’ll post it here when finished) in which we’ll go over all of SDCC plus all the spoilers we’ve gotten thus far and some fun speculation as to where the season is going.

I’m actually getting dragged to a concert with my family tomorrow, so I’m probably not going to be around when the panel happens live this time around. I’ll try and do what I can before and after.
