ModeratorI’m really surprised that they didn’t hold these announcements over until tomorrow as part of the Comic-con panel.
I don’t recall there ever being a casting announcement during a panel. We had the Hook and Ariel reveals during previous panels, but not the casting.

ModeratorMerlin is pretty dang young, actor wise. Elliot Knight is only 25 (same age as me, actually). This is actually younger than the casting call mentioned, which was seeking someone in their early 30s or 40s. I’m intrigued with this out of the box casting.

ModeratorDon’t recall exactly when it was (but I wanna say it was about a year ago?) but the guy who plays Lancelot mentioned in an interview that he’d be back. Then I think it was shortly after that that A&E were asked about it and they said he wouldn’t be back soon? I remember thinking at the time that they must have had Lancelot/Camelot plans that had changed, otherwise why would the actor have mentioned it if he hadn’t been contacted about availability to come back.
Though I agree with RG, because I’d also suspected the way they introduced Elsa could have been an altered version of how they’d planned to introduce Jafar for the 4A arc.
That was back during Season 2 actually. My guess is the original plan was to have Camelot be Season 3, before they got the approval to do Neverland. Which makes sense, considering how much of the 2nd half of Season 2 apparently changed once Neverland got cleared.

ModeratorWill Zelena’s (Rebecca Mader) baby be born this season?
Kitsis: Yes.Guess that confirms that there will be another timeskip later this Season.

ModeratorSo this answers where she went – looks like the mines.
Yes or no. This is from a promo shoot they specifically did back in April, and they don’t start filming the actual episodes til a few days from now.

ModeratorIf Carrie Coon is playing anybody, she looks more like she could be playing Rumple’s mother, Evanna.

ModeratorIn terms of predictions, Watcher and WickedRegal were the closest by guessing “Black Swan.”:

ModeratorIn other news: HOW DOES ISHAM STILL HAVE A JOB?!?!!
Seriously, how many things has he spoiled via Instagram?? LOL
Yeah, though this if the first time he’s leaked an episode title. Adam was probably going to tweet it out in a few days, anyway.

ModeratorI agree it’s probably both. But the “surprise! Not really dead!” shtick is getting very old.
Yeah, I know. Though to be fair, unlike most other fake-out deaths, we never even saw Lancelot’s so called “death.” Hence why people questioned what Cora said way back when.
