ModeratorEither flashback or he was never dead–though I rather hope it’s flashback and not present day.
I think it will be both, honestly. When asked about Lancelot’s fate back during a Season 2 Lightning Round, Adam & Eddy had this to say:
Even though Cora (Barbara Hershey) says she killed Lancelot (Sinqua Walls), have we seen the last of him?
Horowitz: No.
Kitsis: Why does everyone just believe what Cora says? Not one person on the blogs have doubted Cora, as if she’s the most trustworthy character that we have! She’s not Snow White, for God’s sake!Curiously in the same Lightning Round, this was also brought up:
Going back to Lancelot, is there a chance of seeing Guinevere or Arthur?
Kitsis: There is a chance of seeing it, perhaps this season, but definitely someday we will.Source: http://www.tvguide.com/news/once-upon-time-spoilers-horowitz-kitsis-1054834/
Maybe they originally wanted to explore Camelot during the 2nd half of Season 2, but then plans changed once they got the ok to do Neverland? Whatever the case is, it seems this is an idea they’ve had shelved for a while and are finally getting the chance to return to it.

ModeratorSo excited! Love watchin the CC panels. I wonder what the sneak will be about. Usually they introduce a character that we didn’t know would come (Hook, Ariel, Sidney) or just show a regular normal scene (Rump and Felix, Elsa and Anna) to tease us. I figured it might be a dark emma scene but that might reveal too much (like where emma went, what she looks like, etc). It might be a merlin scene or a merlin/apprentice flashback.
Or maybe a Jafar scene
ahhh excited!I don’t know if we’ll get a clip from an actual episode, as they’ll have only started filming a few days before the panel. SDCC is a bit earlier this year. However, D23 Expo (where the Felix clip was shown back in 2013) will be happening again this August, so chances are there will be another OUAT panel there. D23 only happens every other year, so it didn’t occur last year.

ModeratorWhile rewatching “The Outsider”, I noticed Emma brings Henry a poptart. There’s also a deleted scene from “We Are Both”, where Henry gives David a poptart. Poptarts would play another role way later in the Season 4 episode “Breaking Glass”, where not only is Emma seen eating a poptart in present day SB, but is shown stealing them in the flashback.

ModeratorHe’s in a coma right now. There is nothing to suggest that he’ll be coming out of that coma anytime soon since this is a “first” in the mythos of the show and apparently in the universe of OUAT. When the plot needs him, he’ll come out of the coma and not a moment before.
Actually, we had David in a coma as far back as the Pilot, and he woke up from his coma two episodes later.

ModeratorWell…it’ll go nicely with the dropped Red & Viktor storyline and the mystery of how Mulan and Aurora got back Phillip’s soul.
*sigh* They actually -promised- we’d see the latter, too. With Mal’s return, I was really hoping we would get something.
I recall they also said we were supposed to find out what happened to Anastasia THIS past Season, and Will was originally set to have a more involved role in Season 4B. Clearly those plans got shoved to the sidelines either in relation to Emma Rigby’s availability or they were more interested in telling other stories.

ModeratorThat does it…I’m convinced…Anastasia’s dead or ScarlettQueen has broken up, thus making the ending that Alice told her daughter null and void.
Actually, I think it’s even more likely that Will and Anastasia will reunite now. Will returning to Wonderland and getting back together with Anastasia would be a rather convenient way to write him out of the show. I honestly wouldn’t complain, since Will would at least get his happy ending.

ModeratorWelp, guess it made sense that at least one person got demoted to make room for Sean and Bex. Not surprised it happens to be the only new regular from last Season, and the one who got to do diddly squat.

ModeratorRe-watching “Broken”, the plotholes regarding the flashbacks in “Enter the Dragon” were even more glaring. Not only does Aurora tell Philip that she told him not to look for her, but she mentioned how she ended up in her sleeping state because she sacrificed herself. At the end of the episode, Aurora also says that she was asleep for “less than a year”, aside from the 28 years of the curse, which doesn’t match the Apprentice Regina era for that flashback.
MatthewPaul
ModeratorWell, we already know that Rumple and Merlin have a history, aside from the origin of the Dark One Curse. Rumple also retrieved the gauntlet from Camelot, and knows quite a bit about Excalibur.
