Actually, Sidney was freed by Leopold, so he wasn’t a genie anymore when he killed him.
Something I’ve been thinking of. Is it me, or does that scene of the Sorcerer and the Apprentice in the promo feel like its inspired by Moses talking to the burning bush (God) in the Judeo-Christian Exodus story? Guess it would make sense, given how they’ve been building up the Sorcerer as a God-like figure. Would also go along with the other biblical references this Season.

I have my own theory for what happened. I think they were planning a bigger arc for Will for the 2nd half of the Season, but they ran into a snag in regards to Emma Rigby’s availability, since Anastasia/Red Queen would likely have to play a large role in it. Emma Rigby was busy filming a movie during the same time 4B was filmed. Therefore, they weren’t able to follow through on that plan, and are now stalling.
In one of the hot seats back in December, Adam and Eddy mentioned how we were going to get “much more Will” in the 2nd half of the Season. In another hot seat they did in October, they said they were “going to try” getting Emma Rigby, when asked if we will see her this Season. From what we’ve been able tell based on spoilers, it doesn’t look like that is happening.
Stanley Tucci will be joining the cast as a new character.
His character is called Cadenza the Grand Piano. “A new character who is described as a neurotic maestro.”
Uhm, I’m instantly reminded of Forte the pipe organ from the Direct-To-Video prequel “Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas.” He was the villain of the movie and voiced by Tim Curry.
